The place is quiet and nice Staff were friendly And the room were nice too with the decorations
My booking was cancelled along with my friends after staying and the payment was taken. This happened because he was injured during his stay by a wooden door that fell on his leg, which caused him a temporary disability.with no med kit or first aid training, his situation became worse. While my friend tried contacting the owner, he was completely ignored and didn't want to take responsibility. My friend did x-ray and Mri, and the damage was very bad that he had to stay 45 days without moving. I wrote this because my reservation was also cancelled, which has nothing to do with me, but i guess the owner wanted to cancel the whole group that checked in together, which is completely unprofessional

Location and breakfast was amazing. The decor was gorgeous as well! I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Everything was easily reachable and Alvaro was incredibly helpful.
I organised a transfer from the airport and was charged 25 EURO. I wanted a transfer because I was travelling by myself and wanted everything to be easy and safe. When I went back to the airport I arranged a cab using the Uber equivalent and it was the equivalent of 6 EURO!!! This upset me a little as the charge was obviously extortionate and not worth it.

The Riad is in a brilliant location in the hearth of the Medina, very close to the Place des Épices and at 5 mins walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa (the main square). There are many nice restaurants and shops around and is very safe despite the hectic atmosphere of the town. Alvaro was a great host, extremely welcoming and very open to answering all our questions. We stayed in a wonderful suite with amazing Moroccan style decoration. The rooftop terrace, the pool and breakfast were also amazing. Overall, an excellent place to stay in the Medina.
The main problem was our arrival. First, we didn't know that Taxis cannot access many parts of the Medina, so Taxi dropped us near the main square and we had to walk around 500m through many small passages. This wouldn´t have been an issue if we knew where we were going, but the Riad is not in google maps (The given location when you search it is for the Place des Épices). So we had to ask around to finally find the place, the correct address is the one on Booking. Another small thing was the bed isn't very comfortable, but it seems to be the norm for most of the beds we encounter in Morocco.

My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dar Aurora. The room is unique, beautiful, clean and the bed was so comfy we both slept well. Also the staff were gracious and kind, especially Nasser he was so friendly and made us feel at home. The entrance to the riad is a little tricky to find with no signage, but once you know where it is. It was in an ideal spot in medina, just a walkin distance to jamaa el fna and not far at all from many restaurants. Overall, it was such a beautiful riad, very quite and peaceful. The atmosphere was exceeding all expectations. We loved the place
Everything was just perfect!

The staff. The Riad is beautiful on it’s own of course, just like the pictures, but the most amazing part of this place were the staff. One staff member brought in oils made on his farm outside of the city and every staff member made us feel at home and very cared for. Also, it is located on a side street but only a two minute walk away from markets! Would recommend this Riad to anyone!
The bed is a bit hard for my taste however my husband was happy with it. I grabbed an extra blanket and slept on top of it and was very happy.

The staff at the accommodation was excellent, friendly and welcoming. They waited for us at a meeting point at the medina (and we were late). In addition to that, they offered very good recommendations and helped book museums and hammam. Whenever we would come back from the city someone would come and ask how the day went and if there's something that we need. Not to say about the sweet dog, Selfie. Breakfast was good, typical Moroccan and the riad is very well taken care of, our room was cleaned daily. It's an oasis of peace and relaxation, located just inside the medina. We'd like to thank Hicham and all the staff for making our stay in Marrakesh memorable.

The riad itself was charming and cozy. Love the ambience of the whole place, staff were accommodating, and the breakfast is served on time every morning.
We had such a wonderful stay at dar aurora, however, last minute before we check out, we were charged for the bottles of water we asked from the staff. We were not informed first hand upon our arrival that they will charge for such, they only asked us if we want water (or anything else). It kinda came as a shock for us when we had to pay a couple of hundred dirhmas just for the water. But nonetheless, our stay was pleasant.

Absolutely adorable little riad/dar in the heart of the Medina. Great location for heading out to shop and photograph different locations in old town Marrakech. This is just a ten-minute walk to the main square where you can get a taxi to the airport or other surrounding areas. The owner, Alvaro, is incredibly nice and helpful. He really saved our butts when we got into the wrong transfer car leaving for the airport and was there to help us contact the driver and correct the ride mishap. He helped us get laundry done, gave us all the recommendations we needed for shopping, and really made us feel welcomed and like family despite our being a total hassle! We felt so bad that we had to change our transfer times arriving and leaving a few times, but he helped us regardless and is an absolute saint for that. When we arrived, we were exhausted, and his friendly staff set up a dinner reservation spot for us in the best place we ate on our whole trip (L'mida). It was really so nice to have help with everything because Morocco is tough to navigate! He has the CUTEST little dog that hangs around the Dar with everyone and loves all the cuddles. We loved the decor and peacefulness that this place offers. This really is a SANCTUARY in comparison to the bustling streets of the medina and Marrakech.
The wifi didn't work in our room, only in the common areas. This just made it hard to get anything done for travel bookings without having to sit out in the common area, which is beautiful anyways. Beds are not very soft, but AC/heat is available in each room which is a plus.

The decore of the Riad and bedroom was so beautiful and clean, what you see in the picture is what you get. It was very central and accessible to the souks and main square of the medina. The whole area at night is stunning and very intimate, kind of vibe. With red roses and the beautiful fragrance of the Moroccan diffusers. I highly recommended this place as a solo traveller. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I will come back here for my next trip.
Nothing to fault.

The service was fantastic from the moment we booked.. Contact from the owner to arrange meeting point, for one the the guys that work there to help us to the Riad. A wonderful walk thought the Market Streets just off the Main square. Walking into the Riad, our breath was taken away. So much attention to detail has been put in. It's absolutely beautiful and peaceful! We felt very comfortable and welcomed by all the staff, and they make sure you have all you need. This place was really a dream, from sitting by the pool enjoying a mint tea, or after a long day walking enjoying the comfort and fresh air on the terrace. It was perfect.. 100% recommend and look forward to next trip!
