Travelled with my 3 grownup sons. Perfect with one bedroom each as well as one bathroom each having the riad for ourselves. When inside it was really quiet and silent with 5 min walk to the vivid, loud and a bit chaotic and charming old town. We never really got to use the terrace but sure it was great. Fully equipped kitchen. We loved the place! Easy and fully accessible owner/staff which further improved our stay.

The house was perfectly renovated to fit modern life, still keeps the charms of old Moroccan houses, with garden and terrace, big dining space. It's not approachable by car but just a comfortable walk from the gate. The house manager was very friendly, came to the gate to welcome us, so it was no problem to find the place.

Riad great location just on the edge of the medina. Fantastic host Mohhamed arranged superb food for our first night, All rooms ensuiite with great showers, relatively clean bearing in mind it's not a 5 star hotel. Would recommend a stay here.

Mohammed was so welcoming and kind. He brought us tagine that his mother made and brought us to the store to buy snacks and alcohol for our new year's eve holiday. Great value for the money. Cleaning staff was excellent as well.

Large apartment, nicely decorated in the quiet part of Medina. 15 minutes walk to main plaza. Good and cheap restaurants nearby. Felt safe to walk around. We were allowed to keep our bags for a couple of hours after check out.

We arrived after midnight and did not have a cell phone reception. We could not find the riad. There no sign on the door with the name nor even a number. The taxi driver spent 15 minutes with us trying to locate the correct door. How difficult it is to put a number on the door? There was no soap in any of bathrooms, just a shampoo. No water in the fridge, so we did not have to go and try to find it in midnight in the city we never been before. Especially, you are not advised to drink tap water there. Living room was not useful because it is kind of outside and no heating.

Quiet place with typical Moroccan inner courtyard. Lots of space for large family.

Groundfloor and rooms in first floor felt damp due to humidity coming out of the ground. Kitchen not as clean as I would have expected.

February 2024

The riad is in a quiet location, with most attractions within 20 mins walking distance. Has restaurants and other shops close by and is a bit off the beaten track. It was very clean, comfy beds. The riad could be very nice if some improvements were to be made,

The riad has lots of potential but really needs some work done - The biggest issue is dampness. We were there in February and all the rooms and hallways were very damp. So much so that the plaster of the ceilings was peeling off and falling down and on the wall in most rooms you could see the paint bubbling caused by humidity. If you suffer from asthma, you will struggle. - water in some showers was lukewarm, not hot which added to the feeling of the house being very cold. - the showers are open and the water spills into the entire bathroom, which are laid with clay tiles. Those tiles soak up the water and the bathrooms stay wet for a long time. Maybe not an issue on a hot, dry summer day but added to the dampness we experienced. - we didn't use the kitchen but looked very basic - seating areas look a bit worn out - as noticed by a previous guest, there is no sign or number plate on the door. We only found it with the help of a neighbour. The link provided on Google maps brings you close, but is not precise. Shouldn't be too difficult to either put a number or a name plate out like all the other riads. - when we arrived within the advised arrival time, nobody was there to greet us. The only person present was a cleaning lady who then organised Mohamed who seems to be the person looking after the riad. After about half an hour he came but seemed to be unaware of our arrival. Eventually everything got sorted but was a strange start of our stay. - WiFi was hit and miss at slow speed.
