Great Riad furnished to very high standards. They close for a few weeks every year to refurb so it’s in immaculate condition. From here you can take a nice 20 mins walk through the souks to get to the main market square Jemaa El-Fnaa. Staff were all excellent. So friendly. You feel like you are staying with friends. Will definitely return.

The riad is just what I hoped. It is down one of the Medina's narrow lanes , hidden behind a traditional door and stepping through you are met with a feast for the senses. Amber, wood smoke from the open fire, the call to prayer, trickling water, colourful tiles, flickering candles, dark wood palms and succulents in beautiful pots. The staff could not have been more attentive and accommodating and the efforts they made to help us celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday were exceptional . We ate in every night of our 3 night stay and enjoyed delicious traditional Moroccan food. Good decision!

The Riad seems so hidden and unimpressive from the outside, but then you enter the door it’s just magical! The details, the welcome and surroundings are just stunning. Youssef and his crew were so thoughtful and flexible like we‘ve never seen before. It‘s the perfect place to relax and let yourself be spoiled! The Riad is close to several restaurants and like 15-20minutes away (by foot) from the Medina or the other more prestigious side of Marrakech. We ate at the Riad one evening and it was delicious! Our „skin care“ was phenomenal too… If you have a chimney in your room, they even light it up in the evening for a cozy and warm feeling.

This riad is beautiful! We arrived in the evening after a 17 hour flight and were warmly greeted by the staff. We were brought mint tea and cookies as well as given a map and cellphone to help us in the medina. we got to choose what scent we wanted in our room for a nice personal touch ( we choose amber- smells so good!) and then shown to our room. Our room had complimentary water/nuts and was beautifully decorated and dusted with rose petals. The bathroom had all of the ammeneties along with toiletries in the scent we had selected. My partner and I stayed in the jasmine room and i was worried about the size of the room as the listing said it was quite small but it was actually very comfortable. This riad feels like a magical oasis in the busy medina. The main area by the pool has nice music playing and at night the staff takes care to light the candles everywhere for a romantic ambiance. The terrace is also beautiful! The staff is truly what makes this place deserving of it's 10\10 rating. They waited on us hand and foot here ensuring we had everything we needed at all times. Aziz was always around asking if we needed tea or anything else and Youseff was very helpful in helping us contact our tour operators. The riad even gave us a complimentary dinner the night we arrived ( it was a long flight and we hadnt eaten yet) which was very much appreaciated. We ate dinner here on another night - it was a beef tajine with apricots and nuts and was the best meal we had during our entire stay in Marrakesh! The mint tea here was also the best we had in all of Marrakesh! The breakfast was also delicious with crepes, fresh fruit and yogurt, orange juice, pancakes, omlettes and the best chocolate cake ( i am still craving this). They even served us breakfast at 6 am to accomodate us when we had to leave early the next day. We would have stayed longer but had a trip planned to the desert. I would 100% stay here again and will recommend this Riad to everyone!

the bed was a little hard but after staying in a few other places we realized that most beds in Morrocco seem to be a little harder then what westerners may be used to. The riad was a little far from the main Jamma El Fna Square (about a 20 min walk) however on the flipside it is very close to the souks-in paticular the souk semmarine where we spent a lot of time looking around for leather goods so the location did not really bother us.

Where do you start . ..Riad Alili thought of everything. All the small touches - robes, picking your own shower gel etc - that made our visit so special. The staff are beyond helpful, organizing trips, taxi's, highlighting places to visit etc. Prior to visit, any queries were answered promptly. Food was all fresh and homemade - delicious. Riad Alili is a haven of tranquility amongst all the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Couldn't quite believe how quiet it was. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Road Alili to friends and family. Keep up the fantastic work.

We were in a small double, still comfortable with a large shower room. Plenty of space to put your toiletries. Table between beds could have been slightly larger. Not a criticism, as room was comfortable. Only a suggestion.

Riad Alili is a beautiful oasis in at the edge of the busy medina, only a very short walk to the shouks and about 10-15 minutes to the Jemaa el-Fna square. Yousef and his team were a real highlight of the trip, they were amazingly helpful and attentive. They take great pride in providing a magical experience for their guests and you really feel that you are their guest. The food is freshly prepared and you can pick and choose whether you want to eat in the Riad to suit your day. They also had nice touches such as soaps that you can pick the scent of upon arrival, and mint tea and biscuits in the afternoon. The room and Riad itself was beautiful and had everything we needed. There is a Jacuzzi and small pool to relax in, or you can enjoy the sunshine on the terraces looking over the city and all the way to the Atlas mountains. It felt very luxurious and the staff did a great job keeping the rooms in perfect condition.

My partner and I are vegetarian and would've preferred a little more variety in the meals served. But everything is bought fresh on the day so what we did eat was very delicious. Some of the rooms are on a ground floor courtyard which means you can sometimes hear guests arriving at night. This might be a problem for some, but it was very quiet otherwise. There are large shutters for privacy too.

Our stay at Riad Alili was truly exceptional. A heartfelt thanks especially to Youseff, who made our visit unforgettable, and to the entire staff for their incredible hospitality. The riad, a perfect blend of traditional architecture and modern comfort, was beautiful and tranquil. Our daughters especially enjoyed the pool. Our room was spacious and immaculate, and the daily breakfast was delicious and varied. The riad's ideal location allowed us to explore Marrakesh easily while providing a peaceful retreat. We highly recommend Riad Alili and look forward to returning. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The Riad is simply beautiful. A perfect corner of peace just one step out of the the frenzy soukhs. A few steps inside Bab Doukkala, perfect location to reach Jamal el Fna and all the main touristic attractions in the Medina as well as strategically close to Majorelle, Gueliz and sites of interest just outside the walls of the Medina. We loved Yussef and all the personnel at the Riad. They were welcoming and provided us with a lot of extra services. The breakfast is absolutely the best we had in our trip. And we regret not trying the cuisine for lunch or dinner due to our short stay in Marrakesh. The warm pool with hydro massage was a perfect treat to give yourself after a long day of walking and wandering around the city. The bathroom is cozy, clean and you could spend hours treating yourself with scrubs, moisturisers and many other treatments.

My recent stay at Hotel Riad Alili was magical. From the moment I stepped through the ornate doors, I was transported to a world of timeless elegance and Moroccan charm that surpassed all expectations. The warm hospitality extended by the staff was unparalleled. From the gracious welcome to the personalized attention throughout my stay, every interaction was marked by genuine care and a deep commitment to ensuring a memorable experience. Their knowledge of the local culture and willingness to share insights into the hidden treasures of Marrakech added an invaluable layer to my visit. The accommodations at Hotel Riad Alili were a harmonious blend of traditional Moroccan design and modern comfort. My room, adorned with rich textiles and intricate woodwork, exuded an air of refinement while offering all the amenities needed for a restful stay. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the fragrant toiletries, spoke volumes about the riad's dedication to guest satisfaction. The riad's wellness offerings were equally impressive. The traditional hammam, a haven of tranquility and purification, offered a rejuvenating escape that left me feeling refreshed and invigorated. The rooftop plunge pool, surrounded by swaying palms and the sounds of the city, provided a blissful respite from the midday sun. Hotel Riad Alili's prime location, nestled within the ancient walls of the medina, allowed for effortless exploration of Marrakech's myriad delights. The proximity to iconic landmarks such as Jemaa el-Fnaa and the bustling souks made it an ideal base for immersing oneself in the vibrant tapestry of Moroccan culture. In conclusion, my time at Hotel Riad Alili was an enchanting journey that surpassed all expectations. The riad's seamless fusion of Moroccan hospitality, timeless elegance, and authentic experiences created a stay that will forever hold a cherished place in my heart.

The service was perfection throughout the whole stay. Youssef met us at our taxi and could not have done any more to make us feel at home. The staff are all delightful. It's a completely different level of service and generosity of welcome than you would receive at a hotel. There are so many many little touches that really make the difference. Also, the food is exceptional! Make sure that you have dinner at least once during your stay.

There was nothing negative about our stay but I think this is worth mentioning - this is a riad not a hotel and the experience is a little different - it's really like staying in a home. We were in the Jasmin Room, which was perfectly lovely and comfortable for two people but is on the small side, so we spent most of our time at the riad in the communal areas. Happily there are lots of these so you can still have plenty of privacy.
