A lovely family run Riad where it was obvious that all of the staff are invested in ensuring a top level experience for guests. A very warm welcome from the owner, Fawzi and time spent explaining what was available in the area, the best advice also, "allow yourself to get lost in the souk" :-) A special thank you to Saad who was exceptionally helpful, so much so that on hearing us leave the Riad at 5:30am for a hot air balloon ride, jumped out of bed and escorted us to our meeting point to ensure we were safe. The location is perfect, just inside the walls of the medina at Bab Doukkala. Once inside the property, it is like stepping into an oasis of calm from the hustle and bustle outside, no outside noise at all. We had a pick up from the airport and drop back, arranged by the Riad, which I would recommend. Dinner on the first night was really good and saved trying to find somewhere when tired from travel and unsure of where to go.
The bedroom is very small, so not suitable if you have a lot of luggage or you are more than average size, but then again the property is over 400 years old so the rooms are what they are.

This was a wonderful place to stay for 4 nights in Marrakech. The riad organized an airport pick up and after waiting 1 hr and 45 minutes in the passport line, the driver was still outside the Exit doors with his "Riad Mboja" sign. The location is excellent and it's very nice to have a quiet space to return to after wandering the alley ways of the Medina. It's actually amazing how quiet the riad is - you feel like you're stepping into another world. All the staff are very helpful. Views from the rooftop terrace are lovely. Good local places to eat within a 5 minute walk are Mokhtar Resto and Zaman. All in all, a very enjoyable stay in Marrakech.
Nothing.

The Riad is located within a walking distance from all attractions of Marrakesh, mid way between old town with souks & Koutoubia Mosque, and Majorelle gardens. The staff is very friendly. The Riad has a roof top terrace and the breakfast is very good. The building is very old with small rooms and limited facilities- no TV or kettle but the rooms are very clean. If you are looking for authenticity and good price rather than a luxury stay, this is a good place for you.
The were issues with water- one day there was no hot water for 1-2 hours and the other day there was no water at all for 2 hours. However, as it was explained to is, this was not a fault of the hotel but rather the problem with the supplier.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the medina and very close to the souk, the famous square Jemaa el-Fnaa and the new town. We had a fairytale experience as from One thousand and one nights thanks to the unique atmosphere, place and people there. Our room was authentic, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very delicious and served in a cosy and lovely restaurant. We also enjoyed the great roof terrace which offers amazing views of the Marrakesh. Great thanks to Abdul and Fawzi and the rest of the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful!
Nothing. All was great.

The staff at this venue were so friendly and helpful from the moment I booked which really made me look forward to staying. I booked at short notice as I would be spending a day in Medina. Unfortunately, I had to work while I was there so I contacted them via email and asked if they had any quiet areas I could take some video calls and they assured me there would be. The streets of the old city are not passable for cars so the taxi had contacted the venue ahead of my arrival and dropped me as close as he could get. I was met by one of the Riad staff who accompanied me through the street to ensure I didn't get lost. The owner came and greeted me and said that he was the one I had been communicating with and he gave me the Wi-Fi password so I could get set up. No sooner was I at the table, he came and told me they had prepared my room early and I was welcome to check in to it. He had also provided a desk outside the room for me to work from which was an amazing touch. The room had it's own air conditioning unit which you can control (not managed by the building) which I prefer. The Riad is located in the Medina and gives you an excellent experience for the hustle and bustle of the area and there are a wealth of food options not just within the Riad but also from the street vendors and local restaurants. When I was there it was 38°C which was too hot for me to enjoy working from the roof top. I suspect a few degrees cooler and the breeze and partial shade would have made it a great location to work from - the Wi-Fi covered the entire building. I ate breakfast at the Riad which was a lot for one person but certainly set me up for the day. I'd never had the pleasure of staying in a Riad previously, however I will certainly do it again over a hotel - and Riad M'boja will be my first choice when I return to Marrakech.
Getting out of the airport - this is no fault of Riad M'boja, but if you're reading this, I'd suggest you do your homework on exiting Marrakech Menara airport. I learned it is possible to pay for Fast Track exit. As a solo passenger, hand baggage only, and first off the plane, it took me 1 hour to get from the plane to the waiting taxi. Reading more about it (in the queue), 45 - 90 minutes appears to be normal for here.

The staff was extremely welcoming and professional. Breakfast was authentic and the rooms were very calm. We couldnt hear the buzzing of the streets ans the general noise of the neighborhood. Bathroom was clean and the bed and bedding were relaxing. Its been a while since ive had such a refreshing night in a riad/hotel
Theres nothing they can do about it but the location wasnt easy to find at first. Maybe a billboard or some indications in booking.com to help travelers navigate the street of bab doukkala. Still, I would go there again without hesitation

The Riad is at the center of the Marrakech, it is likely hidden inside the market but people around are so lovely and you can ask them and they will show you the way. When you arrive at the riad the staff will serve you hot tea with some biscuits, then they will give you some guides of the place they will provide a Map for this and this is quite helpful fir first timers. Everyday they clean your room. When we stayed here it was women's day and they surprised us with flowers prepared in our bed which was so touching❤️. They serve breafast and they have traditional Moroccan breakfast you can ask for an omellette which is a plus 😍. The riad is in the heart of the town but when you sre inside the room you can't hear anything anymore and you can sleep sound. They have hot water for shower which is brilliant. They have hair dyer provided. In our case we don't have any adapter for our phone charger and they lended us theirs 🥺. Also, I just noticed that whenever they hear the main door opens and they are in their staff station they warmly greet you with a smile and greeting great way to end your day isnt it? I would 100% recommend this place. They also can book a taxi for you. I believe they also can help you with booking of som excursions, in our case we have already booked it in advance so I have no clue how much would it be. thank you Adrahim, Iman, and Saad we had a wonderful stay in your riad.
There is nothing, because prior to booking this riad I have already read some reviews about where it is located because it is not accessible to taxi and you need to walk about 6 mins to where the high way is which is not a problem for me.

The Moroccan breakfast was good. We could ask for eggs, coffee, tea. The location is wonderful in the old part of the Medina, but very quiet in a side street. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as a very good coffee bar. The room wasn't that big, but there was enough space to relax inside the Riad and on the marvelous roof terrace. Here you can see, early in the morning, the hot air balloons starting near the mountains. The staff was friendly, very helpful and giving a lot of information about Marrakesh and the environment. Definitely a place to revisit.

When we got to the Riad, we were offered mint tea to welcome us and were taken care of very well. The check-in process was very smooth and hassle-free. Within no time, we were shown to our rooms and we were not disturbed during our stay. The room was extremely clean and well-maintained at all times and the hotel was kept very clean. Our breakfast was the highlight! The food was so good and we were served different things every day. All of it was very well and exceeded our expectations.

The location of the riad is great, as it’s in a very safe and accessible part of the Medina. It’s an easy 15 min walk to the main square and 20 mins to the Jardins Majorelle. The staff were super friendly and helpful and our room was very clean with a nice spacious bathroom.
The only minor complaint is that the breakfast was a bit basic. It was perfectly sufficient but it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit or yoghurt as it was mostly bread and spreads.
