The staff was amazing, very helpful and nice to talk to. They warned us about scammers and told us the best places to go to and warned us about the taxi prices. The property was sooo cozy and it just felt like home. Would absolutely recommend to stay at this specific Riad.

We like everything but the only thing that could be a little bit better is the breakfast. For us there wasn’t much to choose from, but it is because we like savory and not sweet for breakfast. So maybe this could be a thing to consider to change.

We booked the entire riad for our group and everyone was amazing at accomodating our needs. The location is perfect to walk around the medina. The space is very peaceful, like an oasis in the middle of chaos! Karim and Carine were very approachable to help us. Breakfast was perfect and the pancakes, specially msemen were perfect for a morning start!

It’s a very old building and as so poses some limitations: lots of stairs, narrow passages, old plumbing. But if you choose a real riad, you should be counting on it! I would not change my choice of hotel, because everything else is much more important!

Great location, super helpful owners, good breakfast, nice and quiet and yet only a few metres from the hustle and bustle. Chill on the roof top terrace or in the downstairs courtyard.

Our bathroom was very dated, not sure all the rooms are like this, the toilet was loose, the taps also moved and the shower wasn't the best. It all worked so didn't affect our stay but wasn't quite what the photos depicted. We would definitely stay again as Karim and his family were superb hosts.

This Riad was truly lovely. It is in such a perfect location. We got a transfer that was organised by the Riad and I would definitely recommend as it would have probably been very difficult to find at first without one (however very easy once you know your bearings). It is perfectly nestled within the souks and only a 5 minute walk from the main square however a little set back so not too noisy and still private. The manager was so helpful and explained where things were. He was up early in the morning (when the most delicious breakfast was served) and late at night for all and any questions. He made sure to check up on you to see if he could help with anything and you never felt awkward asking him your queries. The breakfast was slightly different everyday (so not repetitive) and delicious always. Our room itself was spacious enough (there were three of us sharing) and perfectly dark so that you could sleep in to all hours of the day. It also goes without saying that the Riad itself was so pretty. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff went out of their way for me. I was welcomed at the edge of the medina by Karim who guided me to the entrance of the Riad. Otherwise it would have been very hard to find in the old city. After my arrival Karim also showed me the way to the main square and gave me a small map. Throughout my stay everything was great. The Riad is very authentic, comfortable and very laid back. Breakfast times are relaxed. There is a real palm tree growing from the patio and ground floor all the way up beyond the roof terrace.

Maybe a shaving mirror would have been handy for taller travellers.

The location was great, at first it was a bit confusing but that is because it is IN the souks - which I loved! It wasn't loud from that though because it was set in a bit. The staff there were definitely the highlight of the trip - they were super friendly, even walked me into town the first time I went in which I thought was above and beyond anything I expected. The cats on site were also a huge plus, as I am a crazy cat lady so it was nice to have some cats at my disposal for the week ha!

I knew it was a smoking facility, but it was a bit much. The smell of cigarette smoke gives me migraines and it was really bad during my time there. Which, not sure if that is from staff or fellow people staying at the riad. But at times I was getting really sick from the smell. The one cat came in my room (which at first I was all about) until I noticed she had fleas. I get animals there are outdoors, but if you're going to have animals around people staying there and the cats get in the rooms - I would suggest getting them some flea medication! But the cats were both sweethearts so it was hard to not resit giving them pets when I'd see them outside the room.

For better or worse it's truly like you're staying with family. Staff are tri lingual and super nice, Karim and Hassan (brothers) actually live on the property. The cook was sweet as well. Ask her to make you some fried eggs! There are even a couple of friendly cats who add to the atmosphere.

There were issues with the internet when I was there, No I wasn't there to surf but needed to do some work. I believe they were upgrading. Wouldn't consistently work in my 1st floor room. To be fair I think they have it sorted now! The bathroom was pretty dated with loose sink fixture - as an Army veteran it didn't bother me but if you're fussy or with someone fussy they might not like it.

The Riad id right in the heart if the Medina and pretty close to all the main attractions. The secret garden especially, about 5 minutes walking from the property, maybe even less! We were able to walk everywhere, although if you don't like to walk more than 15 mons some places might be too far to walk to but we didn't mind. The staff was exceptional! Definitely recommended :)

December 2022

Communication was excellent from the word go. Booked in October for December, and Carine managed to meet all our awkward requests: airport transfer, late dinner on arrival, organising a day trip, and all questions answered easily. On arrival, we were met as close to the riad as possible (slight journey on foot, but it is located in the souk), and given a lot of welcoming information and tips for Marrakech. A lovely dinner was prepared for us, 1 veggie, 1 meat eater and if you're having dinner, have a small lunch. They care about making sure you're well fed. The accomodation isn't the most private, but that doesn't matter here, the staff are all so nice, and it is a riad after all. You're welcomed into their home. Then guys have excellent local knowledge and will help you however they can. Breakfast is filling and tatsy, and we didn't need lunch a couple of days. We'll go back for a city break as it's such a short flight from the UK. They have cats that warm to you, and if you're in the first room after us, we apologise. We may have gotten Mimi used to drinking from the bathroom tap in there. Thanks all, and see you again!

Not an issue for us, but light sleepers might struggle with the proximity to the souk and local mosques. Also, not ideal for those with mobility issues as stairs are a requirement. Not problems for us, but maybe for others.

The room is quite big with a private bathroom and hot water :) Standard breakfast of Riad in Morocco, the breakfast was on the rooftop which is a bit cold for winter but I think it will be great during summer. Worth the money and the staff are very nice and helpful.

The location is a bit difficult to find because google Maps sometimes not working well inside the medina, but, once we are near the facility just call the staff and they will pick you up and show you the way. Not a big problem for me.
