From the moment my partner and I arrived, Laurence and the team went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome and at home. Nothing was too much trouble—they anticipated every need with effortless grace. The riad itself is immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and exuding charm at every turn. Every detail is carefully considered, creating an atmosphere of pure relaxation and luxury. And the included breakfast was simply divine! Fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. I genuinely cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for an exceptional stay with incredible service, this is it. An absolute gem—I can't wait to return!

The property was absolutely fantastic, from the moment you walk in, the atmosphere created makes you feel you are in Marrakesh straight away. The Riad is stunning, beautifully decorated, comfortable and relaxed. Our room was perfect, every time we came back at the end of the day it had been tidied and freshened up by the staff . We had a fantastic stay, Laurence and the staff were so so welcoming and friendly they make you feel part of their family. They made our stay perfect. If you are looking for a Riad to give you the experience of Marrakesh then I would highly recommend this property. Hopefully if we return we would not consider anywhere else to stay. Nothing only Leaving and Coming home, 🙁

STOP THAT ENDLESS SCROLLING THROUGH RIADS, AND JUST BOOK THIS ONE!!!! Laurence and her team treated us like beloved family, from seamless airport pick up to making sure our stay with them was perfect. The riad itself is truly charming, the rooms were immaculate, the decor like your dreams of Marrakech! We were welcomed with mint tea and all our baggage quietly taken to our room. The breakfast was amazing, substantial and lasted us well into the afternoon. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay 2 nights! We're DEFINITELY going back!!!

I haven't actually stayed in another riad in Marrakech, but I would argue that this one is definitely the best of the bunch. As soon as you step through the doors from the hustle and bustle of the city, the riad serves as an oasis with the sound of trickling water and relaxing music. The location is great- still only a 10 minute walk to the main square or a 10-minute taxi to the new town (which Laurence and the team can organise for you) without it being too busy in the surrounding areas. We booked in for the couples hammam and massage which was absolutely brilliant and so relaxing. We would definitely recommend the experience if you haven't had one before (or even if you have). We also ate at the riad one evening and the food was delicious. But I think the main thing that makes this riad so spectacular is the team. We felt so welcomed and they were always on hand to help us with organising taxis or advising on where we should go. We stayed in other places as part of our trip in Morocco but none of the hospitality (or the teas!) even came close to comparing to the Riad Charme d'Orient. We can't thank Laurence, Said, Soufiane, Asnah, Fatima, Fatimazahra and Warda enough. We had an unforgettable stay.

I can't even think of something to write here. It was beyond our expectations!

Returning to this oasis after each busy day of sightseeing was like being welcomed into an old friend's home. The riad offers huge breakfasts with different items every day, and sweet mint tea (the best we have had in Morocco) is always available. There are places to relax, including deck chairs on the sunny roof terrace and seats beside the running water of the internal pool. There is also a hammam available, which was great. Above all, this was the most incredible hospitality we have ever experienced on our travels. Highly recommend!

Charme d’Orient was better than expected, traditional beautiful Riad , super clean & in a great location, only a short walk to most of the local attractions tombs, palace & medina. Pool & jacuzzi not open when we were there, we did know this prior to our arrival - will have to go back when it is open as looks lovely! Laurence & her staff were very attentive & could not praise them enough, very helpful, polite & all lovely. Coco the parrot was very entertaining🦜.

A home away from home ! One of the best places we have stayed at.. This picturesque riad is situated near the busy medina which makes the location amazing but as soon as you step into the Riad you are met with an oasis of calm. What really makes the riad stand out is the service . Exceptional service led by the amazingly warm Laurence. Everyday we were greeted with a traditional breakfast and offered copious amounts of green tea after our busy days . An example of the exceptional service I unfortunately suffered with a stomach bug throughout our stay and Laurence went out of her way and got the chef to make me medicinal tea. Thank you to Laurence and her team . We really felt like we were staying with family ! We can’t wait to come back and if you are thinking of booking do not hesitate ☺️.

It was a perfect stay, Laurence and team make sure it is so. We felt we were staying with family. The rooms are lovely, with comfy beds , authentically moroccan with a spacious bathroom. Sufiyan and Said and their female relatives make sure you have a wonderful stay. Excellent breakfast served fresh with seasonal fruits and juice in a lovely dining room with a smile by Sufiyan. The Riad is in the jewish quarter within walking distance to the Bahia Palace, Jemaa El Fna and souks. Guelez is about 30 min walk away. Our almost perfect vacation was marred by a pickpocket in the souks, but Laurence patiently spent 2 hrs with me in the police station translating and helping me get the police report for insurance. Would suggest you use the taxi service arranged by the property especially when you first arrive to avoid getting lost. I would recommend this beautiful Riad to friends and family without hesitation.

The riad has a nice location and is easy to find. The staff are very polite and helpful, especially Soufian was always ready to help. He was there when we went to sleep, but also made us breakfast the next morning at 6 am when we had to get to the airport. Everything in the riad is nicely decorated with a lot of attention to detail and it smells lovely. The beds were the best we had in Morocco. It may be a small detail, but we loved the pillows. In most hotels you receive two pillows that are too soft and thin but too thick when combined. Here you receive a nice soft and a nice firm pillow, so my girlfriend and I were both happy.

There are no words to describe this experience. It's the most welcoming and beautiful place with the most welcoming and beautiful hosts. They just got a step further than anybody else. First of all, the riad itself looks incredible. Laurence showed us the photos of the place they bought and told us what they've done with it and how they decorated it. I couldn't believe some features weren't original and they had craftsmen and artisans to come in and decorate it based on their specs. It's incredible. The breakfast is the best breakfast we had in our lives. We're not so much of the breakfast people and would normally skip breakfast, but this was impossible to skip. Fresh pastries, wonderful soft eggs, dates, amlou, olives, honey, the tastiest orange juice to name a few bits. It's the kind of breakfast you'd find at other places but no - this is way beyond your normal moroccan breakfast. We stayed in the golden (yellow) room and it was just perfect. Every inch of the riad smells amazing. I also had a massage and a facial and felt like a queen. I have no words to describe how much better this experience was to any other place we stayed at.
