Friendly and welcoming staff with Hamza, excellent room, nice breakfast, great courtyard. Staff helped walk me to the currency exchange shop which was much appreciated

The shower didn't have enough hot water during my 1 night stay. Also minor, but I would have liked to know there was a 2nd round to the breakfast upfront, as it wasn't clear and I just left without eating the full breakfast initially

I had the most wonderful experience at Le Petit Joyau in Marrakech! From the moment I arrived, Walid made me feel incredibly welcome. His kindness and attention to detail ensured that every guest felt special, and he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The riad itself was absolutely stunning—tastefully decorated, very clean, and full of charm. Its location was perfect, being close to all the main city attractions, making it easy to explore the vibrant streets of Marrakech. A little piece of tranquility close to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech! This Riad is tucked away close to the El Badi Palace within easy walking distance of all attractions. As you’d expect the rooms are set around the central courtyard and are comfortable with all the expected amenities. The roof terrace is a real bonus where breakfast was served and we watched the sun rise above the palace. A great place to unwind and relax after a day of sightseeing before venturing out again for dinner. Willie was our host for our short visit and was super friendly giving us useful tips and hints about Marrakesh and the dos and donts! He made us really feel comfortable and at home. I would definitely recommend this Riad!

Staff was amazing; breakfast on the sunny roof terrace was an absolute highlight every morning; the riad was beautiful and located in a peaceful area away from the busy Medina but still within walking distance to everything. I was working part-time during my stay and this place was absolutely perfect for that! Highly recommended!

Rooms were a bit loud and although there were almost no noice from the streets, you could everytime someone entered their rooms or was talking inside the riad. However, most people were super respectful and stayed quiet when inside the riad, so with a pair of earplugs you'll be good to go :-)

We arranged our transfer taxi with the Riad before arriving which was a brilliant choice as the taxi driver found us at the airport, took us directly to the nearest street to the Riad (given that there are myriad lanes and passages to walk to find any of the Riads!), and we were met by our host Willi (Waleed) who was extremely gracious, knowledgable and accommodating. Willi's English was (thankfully) brilliant and he talked easily with us about the Riad. The Riad is near the Royal Palace and we were asked to make sure we closed the main door quietly - reflecting the peace and quiet of the immediate neighbouring area. Given that this was our first trip to Morocco, Willi gave us tips for enjoying Marrakesh generally and described Morrocan hospitality, how everyone will welcome us as family (including the many vendors on the streets of the Medina!) and he was the epitome of his words - a truly wonderful, welcoming host. We couldn't have had a better start to our stay in Marrakesh. Our room (no 4) was stylish and comfortable. The bed - which we initially thought firm - gave us 2 brilliant night's sleep, so no complaints there! The bathroom was just lovely, soft towels and gorgeously fragranced soap and body cream. Breakfast is available on the roof terrace, and was ample! Bread, pastries, coffee, tea, fresh juice, jams, the option of eggs too. All served at the time we required and no rush or cut off time given which we appreciated after a lazy start to the day. We also arranged lunch for one of our days and enjoyed a fantastic lamb tagine which was so obviously made with love. Just wonderful. Thank you Riad le Petit Joyau!!

Nothing! The Riad is exceptional. A tip for travelling in winter however: the January nights in Marrakesh are cold. But we asked for and were provided with an additional heater for the room so we were warm and comfortable :)

Perfect small riad within the Medina but a bit away from the crowds. The room was clean and comfortable, probably the nicest linens we have seen in 2 weeks throughout Morocco. Breakfast was amazing but it was the staff that really made this place exceptional. Hazma and Willy were super helpful and made our journey easy. Marrakesh can be daunting especially for English speaking tourists. And they made sure we had everything we needed including helping get a SIM card that actually worked deep within the maze of the Medina and meeting us at the gates to find the property when we arrived late at night. A big thank you to both of them!

No complaints

Staff were very friendly and hospitable. The facilities were great - the rooftop veranda was peaceful during breakfast and for relaxation, and booking a hammam experience through the riad was easy. The breakfast quality was fantastic, varied and tasty. The location is central and the medina accessible in little time, and the hotel was still quiet despite the central location. Our room was always clean.

The only disadvantage would be the air conditioning in our room. It was not very powerful and its location in the room meant that the cold air was not felt from the bed.

The Riad was amazing!! Absolutely loved the design & interiors, felt very Balinese. The owners were both there when myself and friend stayed and really looked after us, up for a chat and gave us some good recommendations. The breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight, so beautiful!! The location is also pretty good, it’s just a little outside the main Medina, however, it means it’s very peaceful and quiet!

The pool is quite small, but assuming many are like this in the riads! As mentioned above it is a little out of the main Medina but not a problem if you don’t mind walking about 15 mins to the main part
