Good location, right next to Bab Laksour so easy for taxi driver to drop-off.

This is a personal opinion but when we asked the staff via Booking.com chat, they insisted that the taxi from the train station to the Riad is at least 150 Dirham and that we should use their personal transport instead which was 150 Dirham as well (maybe this is a communication error). We asked another Riad we stayed at in Marrakech and they said it should be 35-50 Dirham for a local taxi which is what we ended up doing and paying. Just felt a bit dishonest!

1. Very central location yet very calm and quiet inside, can’t be better. easy access after taxi drop-off and a short walk to djemaa el fnaa or the souks 2. The charm and character - beautiful inside each element with detailed work of carving or the tiles. Feels palatial 3. Has a casual resort kind a feel. you can sit and relax near the pool for hours 4. Large, well done and beautiful terrace. looks stunning especially in the evenings when lit up with clear view of koutobia minaret 5. Comfortable room and beds - we stayed in Prestige room at the ground floor 6. Good breakfast - made even great with the Moroccan breads made in open area in the morning. Nice aroma and taste of freshly baked breads 7. courteous and welcoming staff. Made us feel at home (in fact any conversation with them gave a feeling of it being a home)

All great, service at restaurant could have been a bit faster. Not a big issue though. May be we were in the restaurant at busy time

Thé Riad was fabulous and clearly restored and decorated with great care. The reception staff were very helpful, informative and welcoming. Beautiful roof area with small plunge pool to relax in the afternoons.

Thé restaurant food was excellent. Unfortunately the staff were attentive only when the boss was there. The rest of the time was spent ignoring us or arguing loudly with each other in front of us which hilariously became the exact opposite when the boss returned. It would have been nice to have staff occasionally check out the guests whereabouts and the option of drinks /snacks on the roof terrace.

This place is STUNNING ...I have never stayed in place so unique and beautiful. The decor and architecture of this place is amazing. There are so many little nooks you can take yourself off to and relax. I think for the first day we must have said WOW about 500 times. The staff are so friendly and helpful I would recommend booking an airport transfer as its quite tricky to find when you first arrive You MUST stay here !!!! You won't be disappointed

Just being very picky now but the pool is smaller than it looks on the photos And our bathroom drains smelt quite bad (but it's a very old building and city so we kind of understand)

I love the ambience, setting and atmosphere, the beauty of outside and inside architecture, the terrace pool, the Friday night music and dance, the serving staff are all Wonderful, the breakfasts are superb. Location very good, safe and peaceful. The staff are long standing and so helpful. Our favourite place to stay. Please keep it affordable ! Thanks Kamala and David

Everything very good except renovations were disturbing at times, cutting the beautiful hanging vines which gave it its pleasing aesthetic Ness was sad. The restaurant menu could be improved for vegetarian and vegan options although the veg Tagine was good. Where were the birds? Missed them .

Omg, where do I start? The beautiful architecture, styling, ambiance etc totally overwhelmed our senses, but in a good way. We felt like it was a beautiful oasis on the edge of the Medina. It was situated in a great location to the Medina and local restaurants. Not to mention the restaurant and bar within the road. The food was superb here and we really enjoyed the breakfast, Moroccan tea and dinner menu. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We could see that the owner was very proud of his establishment and especially attention to detail. He was often seen pottering around taking really pride in the Riad. The Riad has beautiful areas where you can escape to soak in the sun, have a swim, get away from the heat to cooler areas, take in the views or to have a bite to eat or a snuggle on a sofa. We met a man called Mr Bean who was always smiling and very friendly. He was always asking if we were ok and if there was anything he could do for us. Although everyone was really friendly and helpful. Our room was always cleaned to perfection and with great care. My hubby loved the grey and white riad cat. I felt secure knowing there was a greeter or security person manning the front door. A lovely older man helped us take our bags from our taxi to the riad, please thank him for us and he did the same when we left. He was a beautifully kind man.

From the moment we stepped into the Riad, it felt as though we had wandered into a scene from The Thousand and One Nights. The intricate Moorish-Andalusian architecture, with its delicate arches, vibrant tiles, and serene courtyards, instantly transported us to another era. Every corner whispered stories of enchantment, and every detail was crafted with such care that we were utterly captivated. Travelling as a family with a spirited 7-year-old boy and a curious 11-year-old girl, we were warmly embraced by the Riad’s magical ambiance and, more importantly, its incredible staff. The female chefs in the kitchen were the beating heart of the experience, treating us not as guests but as cherished family. Their loving care, sweet personalities, and the delectable creations they conjured made every meal unforgettable. From the fragrant tagines to the melt-in-your-mouth pastries, it felt as though we were dining in a palace, yet with all the warmth of home. The facilities offered everything one could dream of. The pool shimmered invitingly under the October sun, a perfect haven for both playful splashes and tranquil moments of reflection. The spa, with its authentic hammam, was nothing short of transformative—leaving us relaxed, rejuvenated, and utterly spoiled. Every corner of the Riad catered to our every whim, making us feel like royalty during our stay. And then, there was the location—a gateway to the soul of Marrakech. Nestled in the heart of the city, the Riad placed us steps away from the bustling souks and vibrant streets. Shopping here was a sensory feast, with colourful treasures at every turn and the vibrant hum of the medina filling the air. It was everything we had dreamed of and more. We left with hearts full and a promise to ourselves: we will return. If you are seeking a place where beauty, culture, and warmth converge, this Riad is where your story should begin. Book your stay, and prepare to be utterly enchanted.

This property is beautiful; the architecture and ambiance were truly remarkable. Everything that a riad should be! Also, the breakfast was sumptuous.

Enhancements to the communication protocol are required. Our recent experience involved an extended wait of 15-20minutes outdoors, necessitating multiple attempts to gain entry via phone calls and doorbell rings, notably occurring at 1 a.m. The efficacy of communication, particularly regarding late-night access procedures, designated entry points, and an accessible emergency contact, requires urgent attention. These improvements are crucial, considering the potential distress of solitary guests encountering similar circumstances.

Breakfast was buffet style mix of Moroccan and western with lots of choice. Room was lovely but as a superior room with no window was interesting, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyway. Beds were quite hard, but this seems to be the way in Morocco. Location was perfect and easy to find on google maps. Staff made an excellent suggestion regarding getting to the airport early and this helped us beat the queue's as we had a 9am flight.

Bed was a bit hard. We had arranged an airport transfer on departure and the staff member offered breakfast as well which was appreciated, but when we checked out a 0530 the transfer and breakfast had not been arranged. Thankfully the person checking us out was able to arrange the transfer quickly.

Excellent location, souks within short walking distance. The pool areas are lovely to sit around and we had fun bobbing about in the pool without feeling as self-concious as in other riads. There were also towels available to use next to the pool. The building was beautiful, lovely features all over the place! Our room was lovely and also had good air-con! Breakfast was delicious and we also got an evening meal one evening which was very lovely and we were entertained by an excellent small band and a belly dancer! (I think this is only on some evenings though). I would definitely recommend!
