A wonderful hidden gem in the heart of the Medina. Simon has greeted us with first-class hospitality, shared useful advice and recommendations for restaurants and attractions in the area. He was always happy to answer our questions or just to have a chat. He helped us with airport transfers, SIM cards, and price gauging at the souks. One night, his wife cooked us an amazing dinner. And as we were leaving for an early flight, there were two cups of coffee and a packed breakfast waiting for us. A truly wonderful hospitality from Simon and his family. The rooms are a bit small but lovely and clean. The rooftop terrace is tranquil, with books and games, and sparrows flying around. A great place to escape the madness of the Medina.

There wasn’t much noise coming in from the street but the inner walls are rather thin. Bring a pair of earplugs if you’re a light sleeper or try to immerse yourself in the experience.

I really liked staying in an authentic riad that was beautifully designed and comfortable. Although it was in the heart of the medina it was quiet and I slept like a baby. Our host was exceptional, he gave me a room upstairs to be closer with my friends, a delicious welcome drink and helped arranged my taxi in the morning. I was with a group and he was also able to speak Spanish and English to us.

I was not the one who chose the place so it was a surprise that it was in the middle of the medina. Which was fine for 1 night unless pure chaos outside your door was your intention. The outside never got in though. The place was very quiet. However because of the location and the time we arrived the taxi could not take us in so we had to walk 11 minutes to the riad. I left early in the morning before the stalls set up (8:30am) so the taxi was able to pick me up at the door.

The Riad is in the center and we walked everywhere. So the location is really good. We also had breakfast on the terrace in the morning and Simon was very accommodating, he even left us breakfast a day we were travelling outside early. We had a good stay and were pretty happy overall with everything. Simon was also very helpful with anything we needed and gave some suggestions on where to go/see. Honestly you don't really need more than 2 days to see Marrakech, or at least the main "attractions". So thanks to Simon, his wife and sister in law for making our stay pleasant!

This isn't directly related to the Riad, it's actually about the taxi driver we had booked from the Riad for our journey back to the airport. If Simon gives you an initial quote for the costs please stick to this as our taxi driver charged us more and pretended it was actually Simon but was NOT true. However, we told Simon and he was very helpful in sorting this out. Not major issues with the stay.

Great location, no noise inside and an easy 5 to 7 min walk to the main square, but if you prefer a quiet and calm street maybe this is not the best option (always a lot of people on the street). Delicious breakfast. Simon is very friendly and always making all efforts for your confort! Very good value for money.

It is a simple and small room, with everything you need. The remote control of the air conditioning was not working well and we could not warm up the room, but we had extra blanquets which solved the problem.

The hosts were really welcoming, and my room was very comfortable and nicely decorated with air conditioning. I really had a blast with Simon's cat, Sisi, and got to meet Laabi the cockatiel, and the tortoise! The location was perfect, literally opening up into the souks and a walking distance from big attractions. The breakfast was amazing everyday and extra special on my last day. Simon also provided me with some useful links for things to do in Marrakech as well as some good recommendations for the shops. I cannot recommend it enough!

Very welcoming, accommodating, responsive and nothing was a problem. We went on daily trips so we had to leave early so breakfast was ready for us as a take-away. When we stayed in, we enjoyed delicious breakfast, all freshly prepared, served at roof terrace. Best parts: Amazing terrace to enjoy breakfast and late evenings playing cards. Kids didn’t want to leave:) Rooms are cleaned daily. Hospitality and warmth. Location-needed to ask friendly locals for direction so it was not a problem. Although it is very central, noise is minimal. Information about local restaurants, Banks, attractions, spas, shopping.

Everything was good.

Days after our stay, we have still been talking and comparing every other host to Simon. He has set the standard so high that we have not yet encountered anyone as good or close to as good as him, really. His warmth, friendliness and welcoming demeanour just absolutely set us off on our trip around Morocco on the bestest of ways. The riad’s doorstep is the medina. Food all around and only like 3-5 minutes from the square. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Morocco and the rooftop where its served is just lovely. We are devastated that there was no space on our way back in Marrakech and we couldn’t book our stay there. Simon has earned himself a family in Berlin and we would welcome him with open arms anytime!!

Everything was great!

This was the perfect place to stay in town. Not only it is right inside the Medina, with all that you may need at any time of the day, an easy starting point to explore, chill and shop, but most of all Simon is an outstanding Host! Everyone at the Riad made us feel at home in a way that we could not expect. We are grateful for the time that we spent at Simon's and for all the care and attention provided to ensure the best experience for his Guests. The rooms are beautiful, cozy, clean and comfortable; the breakfast is delicious, the rooftop is really soothing and relaxing. Nothing is left to say besides: Thank you very much, we hope to be back soon.

I absolutely loved this Riad,Simon and the ladies there are so friendly,Simon helped me with local restaurants and other attractions and even booked my taxi for the airport,his home is your home as he says and it really is a beautiful atmosphere at Riad Simon. Thankyou for everything.Oh and cici the kitten is so soooooo cute,spent many minutes playing with her up on the roof terrace,the breakfast is very very generous and tasty.

There was nothing not to like,it’s perfect.

Simon is an extremely welcome person. He has always being polite, and always put himself available for us. The place stay in the Marrakech market which is really nice if you want a really strong and immersive experience. Simon will share with you places to go, restaurants, bank where you can take money without paying soo much fees or exchange your money.
