The riad was located right in the heart of Marrakesh which made it convenient to explore the souks, local restaurants, and street vendors. The riad was nestled by a souk so I did not feel unsafe walking back to the riad at night despite being a solo traveller. The breakfast was delicious every time and each morning's breakfast was a slight variation from the last. They make the breakfast as soon as you head down to the ground floor so you know it's fresh and warm. The coffee was delicious too. The room was very spacious and was well worth what I paid for. The mattress was very comfortable which made it easy for me to get a good night's rest. The AC was a great bonus which helped me to cool down on the hot days. The staff and other guests were mindful of their noise level in the riad and usually whispered during the quiet hours which was very nice and considerate. One of the best parts was the hospitality of the staff there. They opened the door for me even though I arrived much later than the time I stated I would arrive and were very understanding of my situation. The staff always smiled when they spoke to me and welcomed me with open arms. They clarified any questions I had, immediately gave me a bottle of water and toilet paper upon request (free of charge), asked whether I wanted my room cleaned, and took their time to communicate things to ensure mutual understanding and avoid miscommunication. I want to thank all the staff at Riad Todra for making my stay so special. It made my first trip to Marrakesh one to remember.

Beautiful Riad - I would book here again in a heartbeat. I arrived alone, very tired, overheated with a bad cough and I was greeted by the two wonderful women who work here. I was offered a big glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and the hospitality in general was far above what I was expecting. The room was wonderfully clean, and the Riad was very very beautiful, traditional moroccan decoration and feel just steps from the square, the best part of Marrakech. The Riad had an Amazing little rooftop seating area and the breakfast provided free of cost was very generous and delicious. The young man who works here was always available to answer my questions via Whatsapp and even gave me a gift from the medina. The women who worked here were very very kind, regularly checking in to make sure that I was comfortable and everything was okay with the room. They even asked how my cough was as I had a bad cold when I arrived. The Riad is in the absolute perfect location in Marrakech, very safe but also in the heart and center of the medina only a few steps from the square. I would recommend staying here very much to anyone and everyone, above all other places. Especially if you are traveling alone but for couples too. Wonderful experience and the price was absolutely affordable for a young student like myself. Again I can’t recommend this Riad enough, they treated me like family and I was very well taken care of. Rooms were very clean. Thank you all very much!! They even allowed me to leave a lot of my stuff for 5 days while I am in the desert. They treated me like family here which made my trip very very pleasant. Thank you Riad Todra!! 🩷🩷🩷🩷 If I’m in Marrakech again I certainly won’t be wasting my time booking anywhere else. 😊🙏

Everything was amazing I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever

The major selling point of Riad Todra is the staff. They are so friendly, accomodating and take pride in their work, always ready to go the extra mile. They can arrange excursions, taxi's or fulfill any other practical need. The breakfast was lovely, with new variations everyday, sometimes pancakes, other days eggs, yoghurt, and always very tasty coffee. When arriving 'home' in the afternoon or evening, there was always a staff member happy to make some tea, get a bottle of water etc. The fact that there was always some staff around and that they knew all the guests personally reinforced the idea that the riad was very safe, so I would definitely also advice it for people travelling alone or for young travellers. The rooms were very clean, the airconditioning worked well and the room would cool down very quickly once the airco was switched on. The riad an oasis of peace and quiet in the busy medina, with a nice traditional courtyard where we could sit to have a cup of tea or take a bit of a rest. On a personal note I still found it quite hectic to be in 'the eye of the storm' for a full week. So while indoors it was really fine, every attempt to go anywhere always starts with plowing your way through the very busy medina. It is something I had not fully realized beforehand and I did find it tiring with temperatures reaching 40 degrees. On the other hand the airco in the rooms was a real treat after the medina. If I were to go to Marrakesh again I would probably opt to stay a few days in Riad Todra, but also have a few days on the outside of the city walls for relaxation even though that probably means taking taxi's back and forth.

Great location 5 minute walk from the center. Hasan was terrific. Very cozy atmosphere.

We are nitpicking but the pillow/bed was average, not bad though. The noise level was a little louder than usual but nothing bad as well. It was the birds in the morning, and the people in the morning eating breakfast, but not anything they can control.

The staff was great. They were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful giving us restaurant recommendations etc every day and making sure we feel comfortable and that everything is to our liking. On the last day, we could even have breakfast 1,5h before the official breakfast time.

The only thing to mention is that the walls are indeed very thin so you hear a lot of what’s happening in the courtyard) but that didn’t diminish our experience. Would definitely book this again.

The staff are really awesome, very helpful, they have fulfilled all of our wishes. The riad is very clean, central, a few minutes away from Jemaa al Fina and from the Jewish quarter. Hussein, Saeed, Ilham, and her colleague are the sweetest, nicest staff we have ever had. We had a health issue at night, and Hussein even drove with us to the hospital. Big thanks to the Riad Todra Team.

Actually nothing, although I would recommend to bring ear plugs with you, thus the doors and windows are not isolated.

The wife and I usually book hotels when we go on holidays but I suggested that we stay in a traditional riad to get a more authentic experience and it is situated perfectly avoiding us wasting time and money getting taxis everywhere and that it's budget friendly compared to some hotels. I can honestly say it was brilliant all round, room, staff, breakfast everything

Everything about this trip was incredible. The Riad was beautiful, very traditional. The daily breakfast was delicious, it was comfortable, clean. However, the best part was definitely the incredible team at the Riad, Hussien, Zakaria, and the two lovely female chefs. They were so friendly and instantly made us feel at home. They helped us with any questions we had, offered to organise trips for us, gave us local insights, and made us feel like part of the Riad. It was fantastic to be honest. The hospitality received, especially from Hussein, made this trip an 11/10. He is an incredible man who cares about his customers and making their trip as enjoyable as possible. My wife and I can't wait to visit again!

The location in relation to the main square and other places of interest was great! Husain and Siad are very helpful with any request or inquiry - helped set up excursions and transportation to and from the aeroport. The Riad is quiet, comfortable, and clean. The price of staying at the Riad seemed very fair for what was included.

The wifi did not work at all (had to buy a SIM card to use).

I had a nice room on the rooftop and was able to open the windows. Such a pleasure to wake up with natural sunlight and birds singing. I had a good sleep nevertheless of being woken up two times in the night because of the mosques religious calls. The location is central. You can buy some street food just 300m from the hotel in the medina. We have shared the Ramadan dinner with the stuff and delicious traditional tea (don’t hesitate to ask this tea). The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Good value for the money.
