A hotel well located in the center of Thamel, with swimming pool and Spa. The room was okay but too noisy because it overlooked the terrace with a living room just under the window which was full of noisy people. The staff was available and professional with a special mention for the restaurant, from the chef to all the servers without exception. The buffet breakfast (mix between Nepalese and Western cuisine) was good as well as the dishes on the menu, tasty and plentiful.

Airport/hotel/airport transportation was supposed to be included in the offer. Despite the precision of the flight and the time of arrival by email and WhatsApp, twice, no one was there. Anyway it was not expensive but it's just for the principle, and it must be said that for the day of departure, the airport shuttle service was provided.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Manang in Kathmandu and would like to share my enthusiastic opinion about this great hotel. From the moment I entered the hotel I was greeted with a warm smile and a warm welcome. The service at Hotel Manang was very accommodating and left nothing to be desired. The culinary experience at Hotel Manang was excellent. Thanks to Sagar Baruwal. The waitresses Neema and Salina were extremely attentive, professional and courteous. The cleanliness and comfort at Hotel Manang were also very good. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily and the entire staff made every effort to create a pleasant atmosphere. The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is close to many attractions, yet offers a quiet environment.

The hotel is located at a very good point at the entrance to the Thamel but not too deep inside. it is near all the backpackers facilities. There are two types of rooms, the basic ones are not so great, the shower splashes every where, and there is no safe. However the more expensive rooms have a bath tab, they are very quiet given the location and they have a hair drier and a safe. Most of the staff members are really kind and helpful.

The pool is not really usable, it is small, cold and dirty. There are a few changes we would recommend: The restaurant is amazingly slow, it is not the end of the world as there are many places to eat nearby. The rooms have an annoying system that beeps every time somebody doesn't look properly their room, and it happens a lot , it is especially annoying when it happens at 2am or 6am/ Overall, we really liked the hotel and with these small changes it is a good

some kind of event/party one night - was very loud, sounded like right outside my door (not even sure if on the same floor) the sound travels/ thin walls ? pool was not open one day, being worked on another.... but everything else was good. service, food

The hotel has one of the best locations in Thamel area, so close of the night live but quiet. From all the staff to the chef and managers you feel like you are at home. They realy makes you feel special and do everything to makes your stay memorable.

You cannot beat the location, on a quiet side street but close enough to main streets to be convenient

There’s some confusion about the name with some taxi drivers, younger drivers know the name but I found that older drivers will take you to a place a few doors down

I had a great experience at Hotel Manang Kathmandu. The location is fantastic, with plenty of nearby attractions and amenities. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable.

We only had breakfast one day and it was really good but the rates were little high yet we got our discounts since we booked the rooms through booking.com

There was little cocroaches/insects which i didnt like. Need to improve on those.

i think best part of the hotel is the staff :) i have stayed here couple of times and it feels like going back to your family but they have fantastic breakfast spacious rooms amd great restaurant with balcony
