Staff very helpful and friendly. Check in very prompt and slick. Secure parking. Reasonably close to local 'z' parkrun. Kettle and coffee machine in the room. Excellent restaurant. Free entry to the bird park included.

No aircon and the day we stayed was very hot, so no sleep. Shower slippy such that I fell and banged my head. Restaurant was very expensive (but as above, it was very good). Not sure if this is a booking.com issue or the hotel, but all the emails prior to arrival were solely in Dutch with no translation and no option to translate. So if they said anything important I'll never know.

The hotel was easy to find with lots of free parking. The reception staff spoke good English, and explained to us about the admission to the bird park, and how to get out of the car park. The room was large and comfortable, and we were pleased to find a kettle in it; there's a lift to all floors. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. We had a very good meal in the restaurant - good food and plenty of it. We could see into the bird park from our room, and made the most of the free admission, spending an afternoon in there. The Archeon attraction is also not far away, and it's only a 7 minute drive to Zegerplas parkrun; if we'd stayed longer, we would have done the boat trip too.

The food and drink seemed a bit expensive, and there weren't any other obvious alternatives within walking distance.

The hotel room was spacious and comfortable - including the bathroom. The view from the windows was great. We were overlooking the gardens. Surprisingly peaceful and convenient given the seemingly not perfect (in my opinion) location. The restaurant had a nice menu, and the food was really well made and presented. The only thing that would have made my stay even better would have been a firmer single king size bed as opposed to two twin beds pushed in together. Overall - would recommend and consider visiting again.

We were a group of 3 adults, and we have received a spatios room, with a shower and bathttube. The beds are great, there is a coffee and tea machine in the room. There is a huge parking place in front of the hotel. We were offered to visit the park avifauna for.free.

Access to the bird park is really what makes this hotel an incredible experience - you get access on all days you stay there and the park really did exceed my expectations. The room was spacious, clean and comfy. Breakfast was on the expensive side but the buffet had everything you could want so the price felt fair. Overall - a pleasant stay and we would visit again.

I did ask prior to our stay if the room overlooked the birds and was assured we would have a view of the ostriches but this was untrue. There was no need to lie about this and was just a weird thing to do. It was very disappointing.

In a quiet location, easy to get to from the main roads and perfect for our short stay. Staff were all polite and helpful. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with a view into the entrance of the Vogelpark - which we were able to visit. This made our weekend even more exciting! The bar was very relaxing and it was good that they served non alcoholic beers too! We ate in the restaurant both evenings, where the food was top quality!

Loved everything about the property! The staff were amazing on reception, in the restaurant and at breakfast! The room was spacious and clean and perfect for one night. Me and my mum went into the bird zoo right next to the hotel which was a lovely experience! I asked for an iron from reception and before i arrived at the room, the iron and ironing board were there waiting!!! Now that’s service for you!! Also I couldn’t get an Uber or cab for 40 minutes and this very kind gentleman with the Hotel offered to give me and my mum a lift to a very important appointment! He saved the day!! 🙌🏼 Thank you 😊

Lovely hotel, large spacious rooms with complimentary toiletries and coffee machine. We had two rooms, a 'family' room and a double room, both with beautiful views overlooking the bird park. The bathrooms for both rooms, much to our delight had a shower and a separate bath. I wish we could of stayed longer and I would happily stay here for work or for a holiday again.

Very little, perhaps a sign to say which lifts are out of order and a complimentary bottle of water in the room as the bar downstairs did not provide tap water.

The hotel surprised is in many ways. The amount of space was luxurious and the beds comfortable. The location also was perfect for our designated travel plans.

The amount of space didn't seem to correlate to the furniture. There was a ton of empty space and empty closets. Lack of basic utensils (spoons, forks and such) was also a shame. Also the room lacked electrical outlets to charge our electrical devices. Breakfast we skipped out on due to its high pricing.

I booked a family room, and it was huge. One bedroom in the lower level of the duplex, with the kitchenette, and another one upstairs, beside the toilet. Breakfast was fantastic. Nice variety of food. Ticket to see the birds Park was included in our room.

Carpets in the bedrooms. It is fine if they are in the corridors, but not in the bedrooms, especially for clients with allergy. There was no toaster in the restaurant for breakfast.
