The hosts were great - letting us leave our bags earlier than check-in and later than check out so that we could enjoy the city on foot. The room, overlooking the canal was spacious and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Coffee and tea were available on the landing. Cafés and restaurants are all around the nearby area.

Our own mistake was coming in the days surrounding King's Day, which meant partying from 5pm the day before, with 2 very late nights of music from 3 stages just on the other side of the canal. It was all very good natured, but impossible to sleep through. This is in no way a criticism of the hosts and the venue, which were great - but if you are a lighter sleeper, then maybe choose another venue when it's Dutch party time. Otherwise it's a premium spot in the centre of town

Beautiful loft room at one of the best locations in Leiden. Soft beds, very spacious room with beautiful high wooden ceiling, kitchenette and everything super clean. On a beautiful spring day we could sit outside on the bench just outside the b&b and the very friendly owner gave us some extra chairs and table. Fantastic spot to sit outside with a glass of wine and some snacks and enjoy the sunny evening!!

The room is located in a super cosy historic building, in a very heart of Leiden town. The room was spatious, bright and with fantastic character to it! Every detail was thought through - like bath-robes, trendy chairs, lovely paintings on the walls etc. It was also great to find a common area in the house with coffee/tea making fascilities in it :)

The location was on a canal right in the center of the town. There are several restaurants to choose from within a couple minutes from the place. The hosts were great people who offered helpful suggestions. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a little noisy at night because we were on a canal but a sound machine would offset that. If you are driving into Leiden be aware you can not reach the site directly by car. But you will receive a notice before hand on a couple places to park which are a easy 5 minute walk to the B&B. So set your GPS to the parking area and not the B&B.

the rooms were very cute and clean. staff was very kind and helping. she carried my 30kg luggage upstairs…:,) great access to nice little shops around.

you will hear the church bells ringing quite often and people drinking outside if you care.

Stylish, spacious and comfortable rooms in a traditional and very characterful Dutch property. Excellent central Leiden location.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property, but blackout blinds or curtains would have been appreciated in the front bedroom.

It is an amazing location to visit Leiden. Big room, big and comfortable bed. Nice view, we liked every morning to sit in front of the window and have our breakfast, watching the cyclists passing by. Martin is also a very good host.

Beautiful and very clean room in the center.

It was really noisy because of the town hall bells that were ringing every 30 minutes. Also bars right in front of the hotel cause noise quite late in night. Otherwise the hotel was really nice.

This is our third stay with Martin at NR 22. Unbeatable location. Neat and clean and very comfy. The bath amenities are also good. The bedding is comfortable as well with a good selection of pillows. Our flight out of Amsterdam was late in the evening and Martin was kind to give us a late checkout.
