The place was super clean, cozy and calm, with a wonderful Blick to the channel. It located in a very especial neighborhood, three minutes walk to the bus station, and 10 min. to the city center by bus. Luc, the host was uncomplicated, kind and always ready to help. Sitting in the Balkon, watching the boats passing through water, and then relaxing in the jaccuzi made my trip memorable.

Lovely people who were super accommodating and nice, it's in a great location close to public transportation (bus) and with free parking included. I would definitely come back in the future for a stay and I sincerely recommend it to everyone else looking for a fun, cozy, relaxing, special and unique experience with the waterbed, balcony/terrace and jaccuzi.

The house was the tiniest bit noisy, in the sense that you could faintly hear the owners moving around at times. This didn't bother us at all but might be good to know for light sleepers. Although it was silent through the night. As I explained, we didn't really mind. The price and all the other great things about this place definitely make up for it!

Beautiful place ,the view on the water is even better in reality than the pictures. Luc was very nice he offered me a space where to park our bikes, and showed me nice places to visit in Leiden and also gave me very good recommendations for restaurants. I would absolutely come back.

Mervilous stay ,nothing to claim .

I really enjoyed the jacuzzi, the waterbed was very comfortable so I slept fantastic. In the morning I drank my cop of tea on the sunny balcony with a view on the Rijn river while the boats passed by. So the fact that maybe a lick of paint is needed here and there has not bothered me: a good night sleep is the most important and I sleep with my eyes closed.

This is an upper floor bedroom in a large private house that has been converted for overnight rental. The house backs on to a canal and the room has an outdoor area. There is off street parking. If you like being off the beaten track this type of accommodation is good. The water bed was unusual and surprisingly comfortable.

The downside here is that you are upstairs in someone's house. The owner lives downstairs. Not a problem, but a little awkward. A large spa bath was installed in the bathroom, but didn't work.

The location is nice, close to Leiden, quiet street, and the room is at the back-side facing the canal. The room is spacious enough, and it has a small balcony too. No noise from traffic, quiet place to sleep well.

The place is really "tiered", waterbed covered with 2 more top-matrasses that where "warn out", and the bathroom is very tiered too. Unfortunately it was not clean, even the Jacuzi had this rough feel of old soap on the tub-surface. The whole room needs a fresh paintjob. The bathroom sinks put in good order, and cabinets to be cleaned up and made functional. I´m really sorry to write this as the host Luc was very friendly and clear in his communication, yet the reality for us was just this.
