The apartment was lovely in so many ways. Clearly, much thought had gone into what guests might need on holiday. Everything was there, in the right places. We felt at home right away. My daughter loved the bunk beds and being so close to nature. (Watching the ducks swim across the pond in the evening was much better than any TV!) The trampoline was also great fun. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. If we ever come back to Leiden, we'll certainly book again. Thank you for providing a home away from home!

My only quibble would be that the apartments are a little hard to reach without a car. A bus stop nearby would have made the experience perfect.

The apartment was spacious and the beds comfortable. It was great to sit out on the deck and over look the fields and enjoy a cold drink after a busy day of sightseeing. The apartment is a few minutes "off the beaten path", but well worth the extra effort if you appreciate peace and quiet at the end of the day. Bathroom/kitchen/living area were all very nice - we were certainly comfortable.

Unfortunately, there were dirty dishes that had been put away in the cupboard. Some of the cookware was a little worn out - it worked, but it wasn't great to have to use. There were "dust bunnies" in both of the rooms around the beds. We had to track down the host to get a more supplies - there wasn't enough to cover the length of our stay (but the host was very willing to help, so that's a plus!). We were offered used of the laundry facilities, but the dryer didn't seem to work - we had to pack damp clothes when we left.

Beautiful location in the middle of the country side, the 2-bedroom apartment we stayed at had a terrace overlooking a small pond, meadows, with ducks, sheep and cattle. The apartments is confortable, simply decorated (some furniture could be renewed) and overall well equipped (kettle, microwave, dish-washer, washing machine). The owner Jan is very nice, welcoming and responsive. Overall a perfect, centrally located place for a relaxing time after city visits. Leiden, The Hague, Amsterdam and the coast are all within 30-min driving distance. It is to be noted though that the location requires a car to explore the neighboring cities since we did not find any convenient public transport. Overall a very enjoyable stay and excellent value for money!

We liked everything, but travellers should maybe be informed that the apartments are located at a dairy far, so the smell can be fairly intense, if one is sensitive to that.

The location is surreal. Great for children. They let you see the farm and the rooms have a beautiful picturesque view. Mornings are so beautiful with views of ducks swimming and sheep playing. If you want an ideal break choose this place .

It does not have good connectivity and should mostly rely on your own vehicle . Either you have a full stock of your food or be prepared for driving for eat outs.

Our family of 6 adults and a baby really enjoyed our stay! The location was ideal for us and the neighbourhood was very picturesque. We appreicated the friendliness of the farmer and the staff that we met. Everyone was helpful and answered our questions about the appartment and the farm. The appartment was clean and well furnished. Free parking and wifi was also great. It was appreciated that a baby bed and a high chair were provided for us. We loved that there were 4 bathrooms for our 4 rooms. We liked seeing the newborn lambs.

The curved stairs to the upstairs appartment were somewhat hazardous, especially when carrying luggage and the baby up and down. A few more dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils and pans would have been appreciated as we did some of our own cooking, especially for breakfast.

All what you need is in the apartment - up to smallest kitchen detail. Coffee packets, tea, stroopwafels... - you immediately get the feeling that here the owner takes care about guests. And he truly does! Since the apartments are located next to the farm, we asked if we could probably buy some milk from it. Mr. Horts have brought it to us for free! Such personal attitude is worthy. Absolutely recommend the place.

The hotel is located in a very peaceful area and we got to see the cows. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the room had everything we needed. There was free open air parking which was ideal for us. Fully equipped kitchenette with everything we needed.

Farmhouse setting in a working dairy farm. Owner/manager was the nicest guy. Well thought out experience with everything you need for the most pleasant stay. Facilities/bed were top notch.

Rooms were a little warm when we arrived but easily fixed with turning on air conditioning and opening the cool roof windows.

It was in a very good location near the water. Farm stay was quite special. Great fun for kids. Easily accessible to utrech, amsterdam, keukenoff..

Farm stay may not be there for all the people due to the cow and milk smells..Atleast 2 kms to the near by super market and so need to plan things properly

Amazing area location and property spacious and clean, mattress very good for good sleep, we there with group and my kid, he love animals and there was farm found with other attractions. Owner very nice person and helped us to stay longer. Will comeback definitely next time .
