We arrived by bicycle after a visit to Keukenhof Gardens and received a warm welcome from the lovely staff & hotel owner. They offered us to keep our bikes in the courtyard. The room was fabulous. The bed was so big and comfy and the shower was just AMAZING! Everything was clean with fluffy soft towels. Fridge with some soft drinks provided and proper coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Just a short walk to a variety of restaurants to eat in the evening in the lovely town of Lieden. We enjoyed the check out time of 11am so we didn’t feel rushed in the morning of our departure. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay very relaxing.

The Hotel staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and had a high end finish. The price was very affordable and it was an ideal location to stroll through the town. I would absolutely stay again and the corporate rate is very competitive

There wasn't anything I didn't like

The hotel is set in a lovely house set by a canal in a very picturesque and quiet part of Leiden. Our suite faced the canal, and we enjoyed the view. The room could have been larger, but it contained a mini-kitchen with fridge and microwave. This was useful as the hotel is some distance from restaurants, and we were often too tired to go out to eat. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Management are still putting some final improvements to what is a new hotel, and adding some storage which was a bit lacking Continental breakfast was served in the room. There was a good selection, but it was expensive

We stated here in the first two weeks of the opening. Internet was not working. Bikes were not available. Otherwise, the facilities and the staff was fine.

Clean and well functioning facilities

Nothing to say except that everything was excellent. Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and very comfortable room with kitchenette. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved it. Beautiful location, fresh, comfy, spacious, modern, convenient, extremely clean rooms. The cleaning deserves a special mention, every day a fresh room, never been in a hotel room which was completely clean like this, really valued it. Lovely staff. We had a wonderful long weekend. We have so many food allergies, decided to buy our own breakfast near by, and the little kitchen in the hotel room supported this. Also great for making a quick lunch when I had to work.

Good location, helpful staff, especially the manager. Everything is new and fresh and still needs some tweaking, eg the kitchen area in our apartment wasn't connected yet, but overall a very pleasant stay.

There is only one small wardrobe, with few hangers and a shelf high up which is very inconvenient. In the case of a longer stay, we kept most of the things on top, because there was no way to hide them comfortably. Same in the bathroom, very little space and no place to put your own toiletries.

I arrived at the hotel three hours before check-in. Not only did the hotel staff accommodate me with an early check-in, they also insured I had everything I needed to ensure I had a pleasant stay. The room is fantastic, incredibly clean and very spacious. The daily breakfast was exceptional. There is a nook where I could work comfortably when I needed to.

There is literally nothing bad I can say about Breathe Hotel in Leiden. This hotel should be on everyone's list who travels to Leiden.

Great location, generous amounts of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel etc) of great quality, helpful staff. Very modern, well designed and comfortable. Air conditioner really helped with sleeping at night as it was August and quite humid.

My room was on the ground floor, so it did feel like anyone could see into the room while I was inside. Having beautiful large windows is great for light but can be a bit odd when they're street-facing. It was a quiet back street though so not a major issue.
