Great location and really appreciated the effort the host had gone to to recommend good nearby spots for various possible needs. Plenty of towels and nice touches with books and amenities being supplied.

One towel did have a slight smell to it, but the host replaced it as soon as we mentioned it. A lack of ventilation in the room led to condensation build up on the windows overnight which we had to clear by leaving them open whenever we left for the day. A bit of mold starting in the curtains suggests dampness in the room has been an ongoing problem here - perhaps a dehumidifier is required? Noted there was no fridge in the room even though it was advertised (not that it bothered us).

We had a lovely and enjoyable stay that was beyond expectation thanks to Babette! We were welcomed with Stroopwafels when arriving and the place was so clean ~ Towels, shampoo, shower gel, coffee and tea were included too Although she was not physically there, she took time to suggest places to book in advance and breakfast adresses. Also when we needed additional blanket and informed about an alarm ringing for no reason, she handled everything greatly from distance ~ Every single issue were solved and did not impact our stay at all 👍 We could even leave our luggages after check out and had a lovely word and chocolates for our departure. Would recommand 1000% !! NB: the appartment is the one down the stairs, from the street, not the one above the stairs 🤗

Since we have not been to Amsterdam before, it was honestly the best location and place to stay to see it all. We highly appreciate babette for her ongoing communication and suggestions for our stay. The seperate access to the house ‘ literally on the canal ‘ was beneficial to come and go as we pleased and nothing was too far away to experience! We highly recommend this place for anyone in a couple or two people travelling, especially those who love good coffee and pastries We hope to be back again one day Thank you babette

Perfect Location, around 5-10 min walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. our street was quiet but had a lot going on still, bars and cafes, supermarket, etc. Property was cozy, cute, and clean. Babette is a super host, so attentive and helpful when we needed it, very responsive to messages. Bed was SO comfortable, i had a great sleep every night. Also the amenities provided were a great help, i.e. toothpaste, hair grips, cotton wool, etc.

The room was lovely, super comfortable large bed and incredible location. You won't find anything closer to the city centre for 2 with an en suite for cheaper.

We weren't big fans of the way you enter and exit the property. Having to download an app and pray my phone doesn't die or I lose it otherwise I have no way to enter the property. Definitely very secure but a key would have been much easier.

The location was perfect, walking distance to the central station, 10 minutes from Anne Frank’s house. Close to a lot of activities. The studio was private, in the basement of a family home. We had our private entrance. Private bathroom.

It was a little stuffy as we couldn’t open the windows to let air in. Since we were there only two nights, we didn’t bother the host to unlock the windows for us. We were hardly in the room anyway, with so much to see and do in Amsterdam.

The location was perfect. It was situated in a lovely and quiet residential area, but was also very close to everything; this also including central station for transferring to and from the airport. Babette was an amazing host with constant recommendations for places to eat, asking if we required a change of bin bag and fresh towels. She was very friendly, accommodating and helpful throughout our trip. The room was modern with a really nice shower and cute, little pieces of art and books.

Our stay was fantastic, but I will admit, it was a little noisy due to the family living above the studio. You can hear what sounds like running a fair bit. A couple of days we also heard what seemed to be a phone alarm going off/vibrating for around ten minutes at a time, which unfortunately did wake us up.

Location is the best! It is like a small house and has everything! The bed was comfortable! It also has hairdryer, shampoos, bathrobe and body creams! The price excellent,too especially in comparison with the others too expensive houses in Amsterdam! Everything’s super! The host really friendly! Thank you so much hope to see you soon again!

Couldn’t recommend this accommodation highly enough! Very responsive and helpful host, the accommodation is very centrally location, close to many shops, bars and attractions! It was warm and spacious and clean, with lots of little extras such as coffee machine, kettle, delph, towels, many toiletries etc. Excellent shower too! We loved our stay here and would definitely book again!

Amazing location! Very clean and private. Host was great at communicating and gave us great recommendations for local spots to eat. They very kindly allowed us to store our luggage after check out as well which meant we could do more exploring before leaving Amsterdam!
