The hotel was much nicer than we expected. The location is very good, we were 10 minutes walking distance from the central station. We were within walking distance to all tourist attractions. We were lucky enough to stay in a room with a view, it was nice to wake up with a view of the canal. The rooms were very clean, they were cleaned every day. Toilets were renovated, there was hot water. If I go again, I will stay in the same hotel. It was a perfect value for money hotel.

There is no reservation desk. You can complete your transactions from the cafe below. it didn't matter to us. There are narrow and high stairs as throughout Amsterdam

The location of the property is absolutely perfect. Quite comfortable and great transport links. I arrived a little bit earlier than check in and they let me check in early as my room was ready which was really helpful and handy. All the staff I encountered except for one were all so nice. Especially the cleaning lady. Very nice, polite and smiley.

I didn’t like that I did not have a double bed. I had two single beds and I had to push them together. It wasn’t very comfortable so I actually didn’t stay in my room 3 out of the 4 nights I booked. Also the bathroom does not have a extractor fan so after showering the room was very stuffy and I was unable to use the mirror due to condensation and the only mirror being located in the bathroom The room was expensive for the space I received. I also didn’t like that in order for me to access the hotel parts I had to be buzzed in. Although I was told that staff would be there 24 hours Ive never encountered such before. The one staff member soured my good experience with all the others. They were just a bit rude.

+ the location is excellent, the very center of the "party district" 5 minutes from the red light streets + there was a small fridge and tv + To the railway station 5 minutes on foot + Nearby there are bus stops and a metro stop + To a large normal store 3-5 minutes on foot + To a pharmacy also 3-4 minutes + Under the hotel there is a pizzeria, small shops, a coffee shop and a bar + Nice view + The staff was nice and always ready to help us 24/7 + after check out you could leave your suitcases for them for a few hours

- It was very cold in the room at night, the windows are very old and the wind passes through them well. I had to cover the window with a spare blanket. Once I had to sleep in my clothes.

Good location - near all the touristy stuff but away enough to not have the noise Room is basic but adequate. Small room but well laid out so it's functional. Plugs and light switches right by the bed. A bump out on the wall, that served as a night stand. A place to put my bag that I can get my stuff out of easily (technically a desk). A small fridge. They came daily to replenish supplies, although I did not need anything The bed was quite comfortable. The water pressure is amazing. They had a hair dryer and i could adjust the radiator, so when I went out on a rainy day and got drenched, I could get everything dried out in the room.

The stairs are steep and narrow to get to the room, like all stairs in Amsterdam, I think. I could hear when other people were coming and going, specifically the doors/locks. Check in was a little awkward, you check in at the restaurant and they give you the keys there. They happened to be busy when I was checking in, and the entrance to the restaurant is tight so it felt super awkward standing at the entrance to the restaurant with my bags while people are trying to get their food.

just like we were warned there are stairs. The room is basic but extremely clean. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating. the price was great as we were right in the heart of everything. great walking area, with food, shops etc. Would highly recommend and if we ever have the chance to return would stay again at this hotel.

The construction right in front of the hotel made it a little hard to get rolling suitcases in and of course we had just come off a 2 week cruise so we had more luggage and with the stairs that made it hard. but the hotel was very honest about the stairs when I booked it so I really can't complain and say there was anything about the hotel or their staff that I didn't like.

It is a great location close to centraal station and the local trams for citywide transportation. plenty of restaurants within walking distance. good basic hotel with clean rooms and basic amenities like towels and shampoo and soaps. we liked the ability to store our luggage before check in and again after check out for free.

while we had no issue with the steep spiral staircases (they are everywhere in Amsterdam as well as steep straight staircases) people should know that there is no elevator/ lift.

This property definitely exceeded our expectation. We booked it last minute and chose this hotel because of the price and location (walk distance to the train station) but wasn't expecting much. We were very surprised. The hotel is conveniently located to everything. The rooms SUPER clean with GREAT views. And the staff AMAZING. We arrived early with a cranky/tired baby and the manager on duty was very attentive and was able to accommodate us as soon as possible. Totally recommend this property.

The TV didnt work throughout the whole stay.

The location is PRIME! Loved the proximity to everything, especially Amsterdam Centraal Station. I took the train in from Schipol and walked to the hotel from the station. Front desk staff was very friendly!

I didn't expect the room to be so small, but I was travelling alone so I quickly got over that. Also, unfortunately my room had no view at all - however, I took this as more of a reason to always go out and just consider it a place to sleep. An Ice machine and a few cups on the desk would have been a great touch as well. Something, however, that I cannot let pass up and that I hope is implemented, is having a SAFE for valuables - this was my only real issue. Most travelers would like to store travel documents and valuables in a safe

It's bare bones, but for the price and location, a great deal: less than 12m square room, but bed was comfy with newer sheets/duvet, private bath with excellent water pressure/hot water and one of those ceiling big shower heads. I was also not in a streetside room, so it was super quiet. You could hear other people at times, but not what I would call noisy. Literally a five minute walk to Centraal Station, so close to trains and rental car place which was super convenient.

You don't want to "hang out" in the room too much - it's there for good sleeping and cleaning up and that's it. But if you can handle that, then this is your place.

Location was fantastic, short walk from central station and close to most of the canal trips, the sexmuseum, royal Amsterdam palace, the red light district & more. Room was small but comfortable. We had a tv, wardrobe, fridge, fan & toiletries. We only used the room for sleeping and getting ready so it was good value for money. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Small pizza restaurant below which was part of the hotel sold pizza, baked goods, alcohol & soft drinks. They also stored our luggage for us on the last day.

Up some very narrow stairs which was quite difficult with luggage and if someone else was coming in the other direction. Shower curtain was mouldy but no big issue. Only thing that we were bothered about was the fact that it was two single beds pushed together which kept moving to create a hole between which had mess between/underneath it like sweet and food wrappers that weren’t ours.
