Very clean and modern room and bathroom. Great location.

One evening I ate at the bar and that’s where the receptionist is. I was there for less than an hour and in that time she issued 4 replacement room keys. She never asked anyone for ID. And only asked one person their name. It didn’t make me feel safe that keys were being issued without validating they were guests.

Staff were amazing, everything was clean and the price and location were spot on! They checked us in early and the free coffee in the morning was a god send, we found it so comfortable navigating the hostel, we felt like we had our own little apartment! We even ate at the restaurant attached to the hostel and the food and staff there were fantastic!

The fire alarm did go off in the middle of the night, but the staffed warned us about that, there was a few loud neighbors in terms of knocking on doors but again not a big thing, there really isn't anything we didn't like about it, defo booking there again :D

The hostel is very clean and quiet, especially for being right in the middle of the party district. I could not hear any noise outside. I would highly recommend if you want to stay in the area and still sleep. The train station is a 3 minute walk , there is food all over, everything you need right there without sacrificing comfort or paying for an expensive hotel.

So firstly, I want to thank every staff member I met for making my stay so memorable. Marian, for her lovely smile, Flora for her charm and helpfulness, Marta for her warmth, Jess for her friendliness, and Anna our conversations really stuck with me, and I appreciated every moment we shared. And a special shoutout to my brother Felicie, the bartender, who always knew what I needed, whether it was the right drink or the words that I needed to hear or a mixture of both.. Thanks guys, I needed all of that. I hope our paths collide in the future once again.

It's in a great location and the staff are fantastic and very helpful, you literally get what you pay for, it's a cube room but for a room to lay your head it's comfortable and very clean. I had a lovely experience one night where I locked myself out my room and luckily had Jay Jay who was night staff on hand to help me get back in. Excellent job and made me comfortable he resolved the situation. Thanks Jay Jay

The only issue I have is the room gets very hot, when we stayed in December the room was ridiculously hot, we still came back and the room was cooler this time but still a little on the warm side, we did enquire in December and they did give us a little fan for the room, we didn't require one this time, it wouldn't stop me staying again in the future and it's the only critical comment I have.

For a place that styles itself as a hostel, it is very good. The rooms are very fancy, private, and spacious for a "hostel room". In this way it is quite clearly closer to a cube hotel. Rooms with windows often have a very cool view overlooking the north of the city. The staff are very friendly and the cafe/restaurant downstairs is also very good. The location is essentially in the middle of the historic city center, from where you can get anywhere in said center by walking, though cars may have trouble getting through.

The only real downside, is that the bathroom floors and showers are not very clean since they serve a lot of people throughout the day. The staff do try to clean them often

Location was amazing. Staff are amazing. Free coffees and teas until noon Beds and pillows were comfy Room was cool. We had the canal view room which we found made the room feel bigger. You get free 2 bottles of water, a tote bag, ear plugs, use of towels, use of shampoo, soap and hair dryer and a place to chill at the front of the restaurant when needed. Shared bathroom was clean Had plugs sockets for straighteners in the bathroom. The rooms are very small but we knew that before we booked as we had done our research. So we just used it as a base to sleep and get ready.

The toilet roll dispensers were very squeaky and hard to get the toilet roll out so was hard to be discreet when going to the toilet. The locks on the shower doors were loose or had come off.

The crew was very polite and helpful, proactively explaining all the facilities and answering questions quickly. I liked free hot drinks in the morning and the location of the facility - right in the city center and close to the train station. The incredible energy of Amsterdam right after leaving the building:)

The facility lacks a bigger common area where you can relax, read a book, work or meet other people. The bathrooms were co-ed and relatively small, and during my stay half of the shower cabins had broken door locks. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathrooms.

Location is brilliant 👏 couldn't be any better! We stayed 2 nights, only used the room to sleep as we were out all day/night. We felt very safe. Hotel was very clean, nice bar downstairs which makes it feel more welcoming. Free tea/coffee in the morning until 12.. showers and toilet were clean. Bonus for plugs n hair dryers in the bathroom. Beds were also really comfortable and good pillows. Rooms are very very tiny and 2 peoplel couldn't get dressed at the same time in there but we knew what we booked and were happy.. loved the LED lights in the rooms. We would definitely book again and the price is brilliant.

The location is great - and the cost is decent in comparison to Amsterdam prices. Room itself was clean, sheets clean and bed was comfortable The staff were very friendly and the building was interesting with cool bar vibe on ground floor. Showers were clean and the hotel provides extra hand towels to use. I felt very safe at this hotel.

I am not a great fan of hostels and unfortunately the review is mostly because of the state of the toilet I came across - i've seen and smelt - worse but its most likely another poorly toilet trained guest then anything. Hostel was fine actually apart from that unfortunate memory my eyes cannot un-see!
