Melrose was the perfect stay, this is my 3rd time after staying at this hotel and i would never stay anywhere else in Amsterdam. The location was beautiful, love jordaan, its quiet and picturesque. Staff were brilliant here too, every morning when we entered hotel lobby there was cleaners there, the cleanliness was 100%. Everything was perfect

There was little i didnt like, maybe the extra pillows but again small detail.

The rooms were super clean and big, the air conditioning worked perfectly during the night and even was cold sometimes (which is good). The location was perfect there is a bus that takes you to the airport just a few minutes away and then to the city center everything is walking distance. A lot of restaurants close by as well. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Will stay here again :)

The hotel is located in a peaceful area. The street itself has lots of lovely stores, cafes and bistros and is just a short stroll (approx 10 mins) through picturesque winding streets and across pretty bridges to the city centre. The hotel is very restful, ideal after a busy day exploring everything Amsterdam has to offer. The room was spotless and quiet and has everything you need. The staff, especially Mustafa at Reception were excellent and made us feel very welcome and were all so helpful. The location was ideal for us as we could walk everywhere and the restaurants in the neighbourhood were excellent and much more affordable than city centre. The shops nearby are eclectic and offered great gift ideas.

Bed was amazingly comfy! Staff were so friendly and helpful, spotlessly clean & in a lovely neighbourhood.

The frosted glass bathroom is a bit of a privacy issue. Its not completely see through but i wouldnt fancy it in a new relationship haha! The sink is in the bedroom rather than the bathroom area which is a very minor and probably picky issue, its paper cups in the room but i asked for glasses for drinks at reception and it wasnt a problem. Our room (027) didn't have a window that could be opened which again isnt a major deal but its nice to let the fresh air in.

staff were great very friendly and helpful, very easy to get to and very very clean.

bathroom situation was abit strange and the door wouldn’t close properly to it. wouldn’t have had been a problem in a couples situation but with a friend it’s nice to get abit of privacy. also a fire alarm went off twice during the last night around 7/8am. but I know that’s probably out of the hotels hands as someone had probably set it off.

such a great location, we walked everywhere!! very clean room!! the only thing that was annoying is that we didn’t have a body mirror and we didn’t have any window in our room:/ but overall such a great hotel would totally recommend!!!

No body mirror in our room, no good lighting to do makeup or anything and no windows at all in the room:(

I booked before reading reviews in witch I’m glad about because if I read them first wouldn’t of booked don’t know we’re anyone gets you can see while showering not at all the bathrooms are built with NON clear glass witch is very stylish the room was beautiful all different colour lighting heating cold fan everything you need I had no charges whatsoever just like any other hotel (work in one myself) a debit card is held in the system incase of any damages if you don’t have a card then there’s a holding fee in witch you will receive back on check out the staff were amazing so lovely and helpful WILL book this hotel every time I stay in Amsterdam now highly recommend such a lovely walk into the centre to! thank you Melrose hotel was a pleasure and will be trying out paper cups in our hotel rooms what a great idea!! 👏🏼👌🏽💜 X

The Receptionist, I think his name was Mo/Mohammed was very friendly, accommodating and catered to our requests. I think he contributed heavily in making our short stay a very comfortable one. A little continental breakfast was available in the morning. The room had all the supplied (desk, TV, safe, wi-fi, kettle, hairdryer). The location was a 15 minute walk from Central and its only a £20-25 tax ride to/from the airport via Uber.

Everything was perfect, maybe a standard 12PM checkout might be a bit better than 11am but apart from this tiny observation, everything else was perfect. Its actually quite difficult to find things I didn't like, everything was perfect.

The room was absolutely perfect the area was lovely a perfect place for my an mine girlfriends 3 year anniversary it was very easy to get to an from the city centre when returning to Amsterdam this is where will be staying again and will for the future.
