Perfect location to explore the main sights of Amsterdam by foot, walk out from the front door straight onto the canal. Very beautiful. Nice decor and facilities in hotel. Complimentary drinks provided and replenished. Easy check in and leaving cases.

Avoid Room 3, it is the first room at the top of the first flights of stairs, so we heard half of the hotel walking past our door including those returning in the middle of the night, didn’t sleep well at all for this reason. Also the room looked onto quite a sad looking courtyard. Room would also benefit from a full length mirror, one mirror in the bathroom isn’t enough for 2 people to get ready.

Amazing location. Very nice feel to the accommodation, luggage storage not an issue. They allowed me to check in early and start getting ready for friends arriving which was really nice. The man on the front desk immediately recommended me several good books, one of which was about octopuses. This is very important to me when travelling. Flat living area was huge and perfect space for a big group of friends to cook and eat dinner and enjoy each others company. Staff really looked after us and everyone was so nice. Thanks a lot for a great trip!

We received a different room to the one advertised in photos by booking.com. It worked out for us in the end due to the space being so big which compensated for it being different to what was advertised. A few things in the room were broken on arrival, the hotel sent a very nice handiman to fix, but it might be better to keep it in a slightly higher standard if repair.

We stayed in the 6 person loft apartment, the beds were comfy, it was very clean, fresh towels everyday, free coffee and snacks in reception whenever you like, we had some beers and Pepsi in the fridge when we arrived, free WiFi and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very close to the centre, about a 20 minute walk to Central station, few minute walk to the tram or metro links. Right on the canel so views from the living area and front bedroom. Were able to store bags before check-in (16:00) and after check-out (10:00), the toilets by reception were also very nice.

The only main annoyance was that there's a constant noise coming from a heat pump / boiler by attached to the roof which is right by the front bedroom. The cooker was slightly awkward to use but got there in the end, just have to reset everytime you open the door as it goes into cooling mode.

Great snacks and coffee for free at the reception 24/7. Coffee machine with pods and kettle in the bedroom. Staff reception 24h, they were excellent! Friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Cozy room and very comfortable mattress, we loved the king bed. Not cold. Bathroom, was nice but only had shampoo, no body gel. Calm and safe neighbourhood, felt safe at night, close to the shops, about 5 to 10min walk. And a supermarket (jumbo) around the corner.

The stairs to the first floor were awkward/not easy to climb, and floor quite noisy, we could hear other guests up and down the stairs during the night. Location is great but some people may find it a bit far from the train station (if need to carry heavy lugage). I´d say about 20min walking.

Situated in a lovely area with excellent location and short walking distance from centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room with all requirements. Room size was very good. Our stay was very pleasant and will come again for sure.

First room we took was on the last floor with a very long flight of stairs. Also, very noisy repair work right out of the window. However, when we complained, the manager immediately put us in another room on the other side of the hotel on first floor. Make sure that you stay away from the noisy repair when you go.

The localisation is perfect! The hotel is in front of one of the 9 canals in the heart of the most charming neighbourhood in Amsterdam! The staff is super friendly and helpful. And they offer you free water, coffee and all in the minibar is for free. The installations are very comfortable, and the room is beautiful.

The only downsides are: there's no AC, so in the summer it can be very hot sometimes, and the stairs are annoying. If you have locomotion problems, you should ask to stay on the 0 floor. But the hotel staff messages you in advance asking this, don't miss the message. 🤭

location is excellent, easy walking to everywhere, plenty of places to eat and drink on your doorstep. fruit, crisps, chocolates, water and hot drinks free in reception were lovely. staff were friendly and helpful. all in all lovely place.

room we had was a little on the small.side but we had booked a basic room so to be expected. stairs were quite steep but manageable. bed had a topper on that was smaller than the actual bed, strange! would have been lovely to have had somewhere bigger to sit and relax than the small table in reception, pictures appear to show a larger table, seating area but that didn't appear to be there

They decorated the room with balloons and rose petals for my birthday, provided free hot drinks to takeaway and snacks in the lobby. We stayed in room 20, we didn't realize it had its own private garden when booking but would be really nice on a nice day to have the option to sit outside!

The noise coming from the room above us was a lot throughout our stay Our bathroom door was broken when we arrived we did get this fixed but it meant having a contractor in the room on two occasions over our stay The bed was two single beds which for a couples holiday is always an annoyance but overall the bed was super comfortable Room itself could do with a mirror and better lighting

The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. Because of it's central location we were able to walk almost everywhere and when we couldn't the tram was available close by. The building was beautiful and you wouldn't even think you were entering a hotel - it really added to the charm.

The building has no elevator, and the stairs are very narrow and steep - just as you would expect in Amsterdam! Again, it added to the charm, but if you are older or have any issues lifting your luggage, staying above the first floor could be a challenge.

It was huge so we were grateful for the space and laundry machine. it had anything you would need at an airbnb type property. The front was cute and we loved the free espresso, tea and snacks

the cleaners just need to get deeper in to cleaning this place. I saw the complaints before we went so I was nervous. it was not horrible by any means but the shower ledges had not been cleaned and someone else’s tooth brush and Bobby pins were still there in the shower. Just gross to have to see
