The hosts Eline and Erik were very accommodating and helpful. They suggested a wonderful restaurant nearby where we had an enjoyable dinner. The room is very clean with a super comfy bed. The location is centrally located so most of the best sites in Amsterdam are within a reasonable walking distance. When we mentioned that we were boarding a cruise ship after our stay they offered us a ride to the cruise terminal in their own car. If you want a great stay in Amsterdam then the Milkhaus should be on the top of your list.

Such a beautiful place…we arrived very early and were warmly greeted by Erik with a map, water, took our luggage & gave us suggestions…he told us where to get the best Apple Pie…and boy was he right!!! Eline greeted us later when we checked in…she was so lovely & thoughtful…had extra special touches in recognition of my husbands 75th! On our last day she gave us ideas on the best way to get to the Central Station where we picked up our car! The room is just lovely! Bedding so perfect and comfortable! There is everything you could want, safe, fridge (totally stocked with lots of water, beer, soft drinks & wine). Chips, chocolate bars etc. too! Every day there were extra special treats left for us! The location is perfect!!! Thank you so much Eline & Erik!

We had assumed we would have a view of the canal from our room…it is steps down so not to be! The floor is very cold as it is concrete.

Eline was absolutely lovely. She stored our luggage as we awaited our room. the room is centrally located to all of the main attractions of Amsterdam. We were able to get just about anywhere with a 20 minute walk. There are tons of places to eat nearby as well.

Nothing really. It was unseasonably warm during our stay and air conditioning is not prevalent in Amsterdam, so it could get a bit warm in the room. However, a quick shower and a fan in the room were great.

Our stay at Milkhouse was outstanding. The apartment is on one of the main canals and in walking distance to the Richtsmuseum and other areas of downtown. Anything farther than that was an easy Uber or tram trip to reach. The apartment is a stepdown off the street with a private entrance and very luxurious. The entire apartment has recently been renovated with all new fixtures, lighting, and furniture. The bed is very comfortable and the room well lit and adjustable. The bathroom is clean and modern and has great pressure. You still don’t lose the feeling that you are in a 400 year old house. Coming from a 250 year old house I was impressed. Eline and Eric went out of their way make us feel welcome and comfortable. They provided us extra coffee when we went through our Nespresso pods answered questions via text when we had local questions (tipping and restaurants) while on the go. There are a number of nice restaurants close by however I will save those reviews for another posting. You can’t go wrong staying here – we are planning our next trip with Milkhouse in mind.

No negatives with our stay at Milkhouse.

Overall wonderful stay! Any small issues were far outweighed by the wonderful service and overall quality of the room. We stayed in the bottom floor room with direct street access. A little noisy at times but the ease of access was worth the street noise. Staying directly on the canal was a nice benefit. Minibar and snacks were refilled daily free of charge and special treats were left for us as well as small touches from housekeeping and Eline the host. Directions and suggestions for our stay were readily provided by Eline and we felt very cared for. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom spacious with a very large rain shower. Highly recommend and would stay again!

One small area for improvement would only apply for a long stay - not a lot of shelves/drawers for unpacking. Didn't impact our experience one bit though.

We stayed 3 nights at the Milkhouse Luxury, very well located in a lively and quiet neighbourhood. The facilites exceeded our expectations, really nice and extremely comfortable! The best of it all was Erik, he gave us a warm welcome and he was so kind and gentle!: after we checked out, he rode his bike to the Centraal Station to bring me my cell phone, which I had forgotten in the room! Thank you Erik!

Everything was perfect

Eline was a wonderful host, communicating with us the day before we arrived to provide recommendations and greeted us on arrival. We arrived before check-in, however Eline was wonderful, allowing us to drop off our luggage and also had our room ready early. The accommodation was brilliant, really clean and spacious with everything we needed and more! The minibar was well stocked and replenished each day, even better it was complimentary. The location was brilliant, we were able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see and there are lots of bars and cafes in the area. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return to Milkhouse.

The location was very central, right opposite a canal with lovely views from the front door. The bed was the most comfortable bed and pillows and we stayed in over 10 properties on this trip. The service the owner provided was beyond any top hotel. She had our clothes washed, organized a hair and nail appointment and each day supplied our room with soft drinks, water bottles, chocolates, coffee etc

Nothing, maybe only critique, to have more natural light.

The owner reached out to us with excellent instructions more than 24 hours prior to arrival. Greeted on arrival, we were welcomed and offered complimentary drinks and snacks each day. Met the owner during our stay, who had tips on places to eat and transportation. Bed is exceptionally comfortable and a great size for a couple. Couldn't have asked for more and will hopefully stay again as soon as we can get back there!! Thank you, Eline!

We loved everything!!

ELINE THE HOST WAS FABULOUS WITH LOTS OF USEFUL INFORMATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS THE ROOM WAS AMAZING, WITH A MINI BAR REPLENISHED EVERYDAY FOR FREE WITH LITTLE TREATS TOO. THE BREAKFAST CAFE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE WAS A 1 MINUTE WALK AWAY AND WAS EXCELLENT LOCATION WAS ALSO BRILLIANT
