Perfect central and walkable location, easy direct city bus from airport (pay by card only on the bus itself), safe for two women, lovely helpful staff, delivered helpful directions in advance, English speaking, lovely breakfast each morning with breads, pancakes, and fresh eggs, daily housekeeping

It was unclear upon booking but the rooms do not have air conditioning or fans, and we had mosquitoes biting us in the heat throughout the night. Very hot. Kept the window open for some slight ventilation. But the beds didn't include sheets -- only heavy (comfy) blankets which made things hotter. The shower is built into the wall of the open room, only separated by a curtain, so each use made the room steamy and damp, which I'm sure is why they came. Also, the location is central so the city outside was quite noisy with construction and loud tourists at night, but as someone who lives in a city to me this was normal. Would recommend you bring a personal fan and some ear plugs for a perfect stay.

What a wonderful hotel, it's small but has everything you need as a traveller visiting Amsterdam. The staff are absolutely wonderful, so friendly and helpful. It's very good value for money for it's central location and the price also includes a delicious breakfast with eggs cooked to personal taste and pancakes too. The location is perfect, only a few mins walk to museums, shops, restaurants, canal cruises and trams.

It was a bit noisy at night, with party goers leaving late night venues, but we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night, where Sunday night was much quieter but if you shut the window, the noise isn't that bad. Or just ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The beds were really comfortable and we did have some good sleeps.

The location is more than perfect, close to everything, and close to my friends. You do not need a taxi to enjoy bars and restaurants. Breakfast was simple and good.

I hate hotels that close their doors, in the sense that the reception closes at 4 in the afternoon, and if my key is lost, I will stay outside at least. An additional key must be in a box in front of the hotel door. I want to thank the person who works at the reception. He was very kind and paid me a taxi fare and hugged me as if he had known me for a long time.

the location is great, just in few minutes walk from Rijksmuseum. Plenty of restaurants/bars nearby as well as grocery. Very nice, helpful and courteous staff. Tasty and reach breakfast. The room is extremely small, but very clean, warm and comfy. It was still possible to work with laptop - WIFI is great and you can find a place for computer. Full set of tee and coffee facilities in the room. The room was cleaned daily. Great value for money when you stay shortly.

Not a great complain, but the room size does not allow to separate WC/shower/sink from the leaving zone. This did not trouble me, but you should be just ready for this.

Loved the breakfast! Michael made us fresh pancakes every morning and rest of the buffet was good as well. The hosts very super accomadating with checking in and checking out (could leave our luggages there). The hotel is very central - we had around 30 minutes to the train station (by feet) and not more than 15 minutes to the main attractions.

The bathroom could have been cleaned up a bit more and our room was a bit smaller than I expected.

We arived to the hotel few hours earlier due to recomended check-in time, but we were welcomed with the smile and we left to explore the city. The luggages where delivered to the room, when it's was ready- very efficient start. The location is great, anything you need is close by such as shops, food or anything else. Breakfast was one of the best i ever tried and I'm picky eater. Pancakes really recomended !!

There was construction in front of the hotel. The street pavement and side walks were very difficult to maneuver through since the entire block was dug out. The hotel should note in their website that construction is currently ongoing. The early morning noise was unbearable after 6:00. Our room was right in the front of the hotel.

It was a fun experience! I booked the trip last minute with a friend and we didn't have many expectations but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating with our early checkout. The breakfast was nice as well.

We enjoyed everything for the most part but had some slight issues with the wifi (on the Television) and the shower. Netflix or other streaming platforms (besides YouTube) didn't work even though the wifi was connected to the computer. This wasn't that big of a deal since we spent most of the time exploring the city but would have been enjoyable at night. Regarding the shower/water system, it makes a bit of noise randomly through the night. I believe it runs on a water-saving system as the drain takes forever to drain to the point where it makes it seem like the water will overflow. Once you turn off the showerhead, the drain seems to work again. Other than that, the stay was great. We only stayed for two nights so these issues were extremely MINOR.
