It was in a superb location, a stones throw away from St Bavos and the main square. Jumbo supermarket at end of street. The main living area was ample with it's soft leather sofa, dining table and kitchen area - hob and microwave, kettle, coffee maker etc. Beds were extremely comfy and shower was excellent. The high ceiling and wooden beamed roof was beautiful. 4 minutes walk from train and bus station and 30 seconds from restaurants, pubs and museums. Breakfast was a lovely idea going to the cafe each morning, where the service was excellent and frinedly again. We needed to contact owner and he responded straight away by text. Would highly recommend this place!

Toilet had a damp smell - but just kept door closed and used the dehumidifier provided. Wouldnt suit elderly - as stairs were steep.

Spacious and clean, excellent WiFi in room. Modern bathroom. Breakfast staff and food along with a short walk to the cafe is a nice idea for a short stay. Kettle and fridge, hairdryer provided. Good central location and distance to train station. Spoilt for choice of bars, cafes, restaurants on the doorstep. At rear of building so quiet enough, we like bell chimes and can sleep through (ear plugs thoughtfully provided).

As room in eaves of building too warm in high summer temperatures, no airflow, fan provided but not enough to cool air temperature. Security of front door to building occasionally left open and main window in room not lockable. Mattresses for us far too soft. Access to room up some steep steps, quirky but neeed to take carefully. Alot of dangling wiring.

We really enjoyed staying in Haarlem. It is a lovely city with a beautiful church and the Teyler Museum (highly recommended)-conveniently close to Amsterdam for a day of sightseeing and there is a direct bus to the airport 2 blocks from the breakfast cafe. The room was spacious with a well stocked coffee maker, hot water pot, microwave, and fridge. Breakfast was friendly, delicious and generous. This was perfect for our family of 4. Note that there is a little noise at night because of the central location near restaurants and the city center, but this wasn’t an issue for us.

There were some plumbing repairs being done in the building, but it has probably been completed by now.

Location was incredible. We were based in the heart of Haarlem and could walk everywhere, even the train station was an easy 12minute walk. The room was clean, had everything we needed (we were just looking for a nice and comfortable place to sleep as we mainly wanted to explore the city). The breakfast that was included was delicious, served at a lovely little coffee shop across the road every morning.

I did not like that I was told I was booking a room with a large double bed and actually it is just two single beds pushed together.

Very centrally located, big private apartment for the price, and nice to have included breakfast at a the café.

Although it was written in the emails we received, we ended up at the wrong address in the middle of the night (due to google maps), and that was a bit of a bummer. But they answered when we called, and guided us to the correct place :)

Great location in centre of old town. The breakfast was very good.

The bed linen could be updated. It was clean but seen better days as it had a few small holes. Not a fan of the wet room bathroom. Found it difficult to cope with.

We stayed at Smedestraat 23, flat 6. Accomodation on 3 levels. Lots of space but the stairs wouldn't suit everyone. Bathroom, with bath and separate walk-in shower, was impressive.

I was un-nerved when we got told that the breakfast was served elsewhere and more so when we were told a new property address. But all was well and we would certainly stay here again.

It’s right near most of the tourist attractions and the room has everything we need. The little cafe two doors away serves really good sandwiches.

The stairs are a bit trying but most of the older places are like this. It’s what makes the experience memorable!

The location was perfect. Many redtaurants are near. Rooms with feeling of 1001 nights were nice.

Shower room in room 2 no ventilation so the air was so stuffy. Everywhere in room 1 and 2 on the floor was partly sticky. No window to ventilate??

The host was super nice! Replied fast and also helped me out because I was unable to have breakfast so i got a packed lunchbox. One of the best experience I had. Would recommend!
