Location, fabulous. Staff, very nice. No breakfast but minor alternative offered, overall really good service, espresso maker in the room, good shower etc etc and little to complain except one or two small and easy to fix things.

Two main two pet peeves would be these: the door between the reception/room really is not fit for purpose. It doesn't close properly, has no acoustic properties and feel like an utility room door vs actual hotel room door. Everything that happens at reception can be heard and is noticeable. Second minor item is the backdoor was unlocked (and had no key to lock) in addition to the pillows which urgently need replacing.

Comfortable beds, lovely and ideal location, staff friendly, clean rooms, very big and with lots of light and air. Lovely to have tea and coffee and room tidied each day.

Room 3 bath/shower was a challenge to get in and out and an accident waiting to happen. You have to lift yourself about 3/4 metre to get in and the nothing to support you climbing out with a big drop and bath mats on tiled floors that slip not a good thing...forget this room for aged or less mobile. Also the typical Dutch staircases, lots of small and steep stairs but expected in an old property.

This is a beautifully maintained historic building. I loved the expose beams in my room. The large windows opening to the street below were absolutely wonderful. I really loved eating breakfast in the dining room, which has beautiful natural lighting and a view of attractive foliage in the courtyard. This was a nice, central location with many restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

The red carpet in the stairwell needs either a good cleaning or wholesale replacement. The closet in my room had three doors, one of which would not open. I could not figure out how to get the safe to work.

This place was certainly one of the best accommodations I have ever been to. I stayed only one night but definitely coming back. You can reach the hotel quite easily from the train station (approximately 10-15 min walk). The hotel is situated in a very nice area, very close to the city centrum. The hotel itself is small, but the room are so spacious. The big authentic windows make the room very pleasant and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. I liked the use of Rituals as toiletries, just fitted the vibe of the place. The breakfast was tasty and rich. Last but not least, the receptionist Dirk was a really nice person. He got in touch with me a night before to make sure I arrive well and get access to my room. He recommended me places to eat, and activities to do in Maastricht. I would recommend this hotel to everyone without any doubt.

Fantastic location, right in the old center and very close to Vrijthof en Onze Lieve Vrouwe plein. Great city view from our room on the 4th floor.

The only small complaint I could think of, is that the small fridge was somewhat noisy. The reason it was noticeable, was that it was really quiet in the room. A great thing for a hotel in the city center.

Beautiful hotel, located in a historic building which contributes to its charme, very close to the city centre but in a quiet area; spacious and clean room with view over the city (family room top floor); friendly and attentive host.

Not a problem for us, but it could be for other guests: The hotel has no lift and the upper floor rooms are reached via wooden, quite steep and creaking stairs.

Great location with competitive prices. Adequate stock of toiletries with reasonably priced fridge items. Free breakfast in reception. Free WiFi and TV. Safe locked parking available. The owner went out of his way to accommodate our requests. Will definitely use again.

There was nothing to dislike.

Nice hotel in a quiet location. Close to the city center and the restaurants. Spacious room. Room is equipped with a fridge/minibar. The minibar was the most reasonably priced I've ever seen. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use it. :-)

Hotel is not serving breakfast anymore. But there are locations for breakfast close by.

Nice hotel room in a historical building. We stayed with 3 people in room 3, which was very spacious. We only stayed 1 night because of the Andre Rieu concert.

We were lucky that our neighbour room and also the room upstairs had quiet guests like we are. The building is historical, so quite noisy (floors, stairs).

The hotel is lovely, with a lot of character. We stayed in the room on the top floor, spacious and comfortable. Nearby there are good restaurants and cafes. The owner of the hotel, Dirk, is lovely and he helped us with suggestions on what to visit. Breakfast is very good, with fresh fruit and "real" coffee.
