The location was amazing. The hotel is located in the center of the city and less that a 2 min walk from an underground parking garage. We made our reservation at the last min and the hotel staff welcomed us and insured a speedy and pleasant check-in. We left early in the morning so we did not eat breakfast at the hotel but the spread looked amazing. My wife and I will definitely stay here again next time we are in Maastricht.

We had to walk up a steep set of stairs (inside the room) to access the shower/toilet; this was particularly difficult in the middle of the night. We were exceptionally cold while staying the room despite adjusting the thermostat in the room. The next morning one of the hotel staff explained to me that the heat is turned off after 11:00 PM every night.

The location of the hotel was perfect for walking around Maastricht. We arrived after ten days of travel. What a pleasure to stay in this local hotel. From arrival to departure the staff could not have have been more helpful. What joy to sleep in a comfortable bed. The morning breakfast in the lovely dining room—cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, croissants (wonderful), cereals, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting quietly in the am looking over the beautiful garden. The common rooms and our specific room was immaculate. Hot water for showers and everything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. Overall, the hotel had a warm and comfortable vibe. Welcoming!

Only one suggestion. Instead of charging for breakfast—increase the room rate and make it inclusive.

we filtered through booking using the accessibility option, as my mother is limited in her ability to climb stairs. unfortunately, even though we booked with this feature checked on, the room itself was on the second floor. I don’t want to fault the property, as they seemed unaware that this was possible through the platform. Just seemed like some wires got crossed there

The personnel were welcoming, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to do their best. We were lucky enough to have nice weather and could enjoy the lovely garden.

The building is a historic building and thus, do not expect elevators. We had a junior suite and it would have been nice to have nicer bathroom amenities since it was mentioned in the description.

This quaint hotel is very central. The staff was very nice and the decor of this hotel is charming. Everything was very clean. Certainly considering staying here again at our next visite to Maastricht.

Although my stay at the hotel was pleasant, I was a bit let down by the limited food options offered for the breakfast.

original, nice staff, confortable and central located. unfortunately ℹ didnt have the Chance To have the breakfast so no comments about. I would Go back Definetly. recommendation: -reception seems to be open until 20h , check before with them if you are planning to do check out later. - remember your room no ,we didn’t receive a card with the room no as it is usual. - for tapas and sangria, very close to the hotel is “ la bodega” .

very small beds that cannot be used as one large. Too narrow even for one person. Very steep stairs to the second floor

Nothing, really. It is right in the city centre, so parking is a bit of a challenge, about a 10 minute walk.

Very large room with a beautiful view on the yard in a quiet street (yet close to vrijthof). Very authentic hotel (love that vibe) and although we could hear our upstairs neighbours walking, we didn"t hear any other sounds and it was very quiet during the night.

The ahower could've been placed in a better spot (it was too far left in the tub which makes you bumb into the tab)
