The property was like stepping into a fairytale: welcomed by a lovely hostess, evey corner of the historic house is beautifully decorated, lit with candles, the breakfast room (and the breakfast) is out of this world. Our Room (No 2) was huge, yet very cosy, very clean and had a beautiful view over a Gracht. The property is close enough to town within a short walk but far enough to have a quiet night.

Breakfast was just great. There were breadrolls of all sorts, 'normal' sliced bread, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt... just everything you could want. And the breakfastroom was simply beautiful and very stylish. The rooms are all equally well put together and are a mixture of modern facilities and retro/antiques. We felt very welcome and very at ease!

We had some minor trouble with our television, but the owner immediately picked it up and did everything to solve it.

The small appartment is build in the attic, very narrow stairs lead to it, but we didn't mind. The rooms are lavishly and stylishly furnished.

The smell of tobbacco came up from the people smoking next door.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very cosy with a nice view of the church. The breakfast was really good and the location is excellent to explore Middelburg and Zeeland.

The host is super friendly, the breakfast is great, the room is very spacious, the bed & shower very comfi. The B&B is at the border of the city center and a car parking (EUR 10 per day) is at a 3 min walk. From there, it's a 10-15 min drive to many - very beautiful! - beach/dune spots.

Nothing really. It's not the cheapest B&B, but you get quality for it! :-)

Henja is an amazing host, we received a super warm welcome. The room was spacious, spotless, comfortable and beautiful. The whole house is decorated with so much taste. And breakfast was absolutely divine.

Breakfast was excellent. It had a variety of bread, spreads, jams and other such things available. The host was very friendly. You can just call her if you have a request. Recommended!
