Very friendly host, warm welcome. beautiful well equipped room, incredible attention to detail, super comfortable bed and immediately clean bedroom and shower room. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully renovated accommodation.

The hotel is located at an excellent location in the center of Middelburg with good parking facilities around. We booked for 2 rooms which were located direct at the entrance. On arrival we received a warm receptions. Rooms are spacious and drinks and snacks were foreseen. For practical reasons we changed the room for our just married son and daughter in law to this B&B. When the manager heard about, he and his daughter spontaniously took care for a beautiful decoration of the room, making our stay unforgettable.

Dave, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival. We parked about a 10 min walk away at a free parking lot, which was great. The property itself has a ton of character, with beautiful, spacious rooms that are very tastefully decorated. The room was extremely clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I loved all the attention to detail the owner has put into the room, such as refreshments and breakfast items in the fridge, and robes, and I LOVED the various flavors of fresh tea provided with beautiful tea glasses. The location is also great, very quiet at night but super close to shops and restaurants, etc. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here when visiting Middelburg, NL. This is not (yet) a full-service hotel with a reception, bar, hot breakfast etc.. so if you are looking for a full hotel experience this may not be for you. However, the host was amazing and the room provided us with everything we needed during our stay. Honestly, no negative feedback everything was great!

This lovely historical property is in a wonderful location, very central but peaceful as well. We enjoyed the experience of staying in a piece of history, in comfort. There are 2 suites on the ground floor and we stayed in both of them. The rooms both have a lot of natural daylight coming in, high ceilings, rain shower and comfortable beds. We liked the personal touches such as refreshments in the fridge and a selection of teas beautifully presented. The owner was welcoming and friendly. As we were staying in the center, everything was walking distance. We would love to come back.

The buildings itself was beautiful with plenty of character and we both loved our room (Zee Suite). Everything was spotless clean, the bed the most comfortable I ever slept in in a hotel and there were plenty of additional touches which just made our stay even more special (selection of green teas, sweet treats etc.). We were also allowed to keep our bikes on site which was greatly appreciated. Great location with lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. I'd definitely return to this place.

A beautiful old patricians house in the centre of the stunning small city of Middelburg. Dave, one of the owners was very friendly and accommodating and helped to make our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, many cultural attractions were closed during our two night stay so it’s worth checking before you visit.

We we upgraded to the nicest suite. It was large and very comfortable. Excellent location. Nice touches, such as yogurt, fruit drinks etc..free, in fridge. The owner and his daughter were very helpful, and readily available for questions.

Location is perfect and a beautiful place to stay. Owners are very welcoming and helpful. Great base for a visit to Middelburg. Would stay again, we loved it.

Free parking is a 7 min walk away. Paid parking outside the accommodation is expensive.

The host was very kind and went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable and care free. The refrigerator with goodies was extra fun. The place was very clean and comfortable. The place is also walking-distance close to the city center.

a delightful property in a fabulous location. Owners were friendly and helpful. bedroom was quirkily grand with comfy bed and seating for breakfast which was supplied in the form of yoghurt, butter, pate biscuits which was a welcome & unexpected bonus.
