Once I got hold of the plastic key I was alright. The location is very attrctive, fashionable bohemian. There are plenty of street side cafees and restaurants that give the area a tropical feeling on those hot days and nights of my visit . The number 17 tram doesn't stop outside the house, never worked out which is the nearest ,to walk towards Elandstraat/ Vondelstraat or to Zoutmanstraat.
something went wrong with the digital key for the outside front and room door being sent to me - asking me to check in online - but indiciating there is also the option of checking in on arrival - which was 21.40 so I assumed some staff would be available to let me in. I was wrong. On the outside door was an automated message. IAsked a native speaker to listen for me. The phone numbers given there and on the communication were useless. I really started to panic. Another guest let me in through the front door. THe lesson is: ttry to call up the digital door key's symbol on your message. Don't relie on the front desk being staffed if you arrive after 7 or 8 pm.

Location is amazing. Surrounded by a ton of great restaurants and breakfast places, we definitely recommend Hendriks Fish & Drinks, Old Fashion and HUmmUS. Hotel is also very clean and staff is friendly though it might seem a little impersonal since a lot is done online (check-in, check-out, and even opening doors to the hotel and rooms.) And a special mention to the team at By Rem, their cocktails are incredibly creative and very good!
We were staying in room 33 and unfortunately the mattress on the right side was very saggy. Also, the guests upstairs were walking a lot, which can be felt and heard in the room underneath. And lastly, the doors downstairs closing is also very loud.

Terrific location , close to some excellent shops, cafes and restaurants and near to the trams to get you into the city centre (one way) and the wonderful Kunstmuseum and the beach (the other). Can recommend the Patisserie round the corner for coffee and breakfast. Spacious rooms and friendly and helpful staff. Try Amicis for excellent Italian food.
nothing to dislike about the property, but there are tram works going on in the streets nearby. Not the hotel’s fault, and they do point this out on their website. We didn We didn’t find it an inconvenience, but the roadworks tend to spoil a lovely square. I’m sure it will be great when it’s finished …

Have been staying here on and off for a decade. Haven't visited recently due to COVID but was pleased to see the place has been spruced up a bit. Very quiet stay, was almost like having own apartment with private entrance. Staff delightful and incredibly helpful. They gave me a room with a patio out back because I was staying for a whole week. And of course the location is lovely - many wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby, short walk to Peace Palace, etc. I usually stay with friends in the Hague but when I need space to myself, this is it. Thank you, Team Sebel.
Just add a face cloth, pls. Everything else perfect.

Complimentary coffee. Additional direct entrance from street. A large supermarket nearby. Historical centre within walking distance.
Construction noise very near. Romantic, but narrow stairs with no elevator - a decent exercise for those with significant luggage.

The hotel was very very beautiful from the outside to begin with. The staff were incredibly lovely when I walked in and spoke perfect English. The parking provided for €19 was about two minutes away from the hotel. Rooms are set in three different sections of the buildings. We were in building B on the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and had amazing floor to ceiling windows. We really liked the autonomous coffee bar where you could serve yourself a number of coffees.
The room certainly isn't as perfect as it looked on the website. The bathroom, for instance could very much use updating. I very much struggled to get clean in the shower, the power was awful. The location of the hotel is not near to the beach and you will need to get the tram into the hague beach area. All in all the hotel was nice but don't be fooled into thinking its as beautiful as the photos. I also do believe that the hotel was not entirely worth its value as it was quite expensive.

It's a great neighborhood, interesting stores and restaurants around. There is also a big AJ (Albert Heijn) grocery store nearby which also sells some other things. I also liked that there was an in-house clothes washer and dryer. And I really like that free coffee was kept available in the common area.

The location is really nice, it is not exactly in the city center but the area is full with nice cafés and bars so it's really nice to explore. The room was nice and clean. Parking is not too expensive (19 euros/day). There is free tea and coffee all day long at the hotel.
The king size bed is more like a double bed put together so it's not the most comfortable but it is acceptable.

The receptionist made us feel very welcome, and kindly recommended some good places in the city center. The hotel was as comfortable as it was pretty and ideally located for what we wanted to do. The affiliated parking nearby was a big plus for us too! I can only recommend the Sebel Hotel and we would be delighted to return again soon!

The hotel is in a historic building but it has been renovated. It is new and clean and comfortable. It is not in the city center but within walking distance. There is everything you need in the area, small markets, trendy cafe, good restaurants. The front desk young lady Stephanie (I know it spells differently) is helpful and patient, I had so many questions about trains and she answered all!
