This is a really lovely hotel just a 10 minute walk from the bars and restaurants of The Hague and situated in a vibrant square offering a fun alternative from the town. Really good value for money for a hotel of this calibre. We didnt have much interaction with the staff as were staying in an apartment just across the square from the hotel itself but communication was easy and it was clear that they were on hand should we need anything at all. Our apartment had very steep stairs but other apartments had elevators etc so just let the hotel know so that they can make suitable arrangements. Overall a really good stay and one which I would recommend to those looking to explore The Hague and surrounding areas including Rotterdam which is just 20 mins by train.

Very comfortable room, spacious and well equipped. Loved the large shower, the kettle and the wide range of teabags. The staff were very friendly, both when I arrived and during breakfast. Thank you for spontaneously offering to give me breakfast earlier than the advertised start time.

The soundproofing between rooms could be better. I could hear every word of my neighbours' conversation (through the bathroom wall).

La Paulowna Boutique Hotel was an unusual good surprise from almost the first moment. One of those gold nuggets pretty difficult to find. Not only because being sometimes tired of a correct however impersonal attention you get from most of the luxury hotels around, we had at La Paulowna Hotel a human, amable and personal attention that makes you feel at home when being far from home; but also for its elegance and remarkable decoration. Definitevely we had a pleasant and comfortable stay there, and we are longing to come back soon.

I loved this hidden gem. I arrived terribly late, but the host met me outside and showed me around and explained everything in good cheer and charm. My room was spacious and welcoming. I slept well in the big bed. In the morning I was flooded with light, had a great shower and set off with a spring in my step. I shall be back! thank you again.

La Paulowna is a beautiful little hotel in the center heart of Den Hague. The Anna Paulowna Plein, where it is situated, is vibrant and lively with some nice wine bars and an really excellent restaurant just next door. And although many people enjoyed sitting outside having drinks and food all over the day, during night time it was absolutely quiet. We liked the neighbourhood, the excellent location with the Tram Line 1 in walking distance, which brings you to Delft City Center in the one direction as well as to Scheveningen beach in the other direction in just a few minutes. Overall the nicely equipped hotel is a strong recommendation for a weekend trip to Den Hague. If you come by car, make sure to arrange a parking spot in the area at best before arrival.

The staff of the restaurant located in the hotel seemed to be quiet untrained, lacking skills and ambition. Therefore taking breakfast there was time consuming and no fun. The quality of drinks and food served though was quite nice.

Beautifully quirky and comfortable hotel well situated for all the city's attractions. Superbly comfortable rooms with every facility you need, and very helpful staff. Some great little bars directly opposite too, a choice of 3, all of which looked very inviting.

The stairs are a little noisy - some people came in and made a lot of noise around midnight and woke me up, so the soundproofing is a little inadequate.

I stayed at La Paulowna for 12 nights and i loved the hotel, the location, so animated during the day, but quiet at night. The room was exactly as described and the staff was so nice. The restaurant had great food, and great staff!

The hotel was absolutely lovely. The room was both spacious and comfortable with large windows overlooking the beautiful square below. Anushka was so welcoming and helpful when we checked in. She showed us the neighbourhood layout on a map and highlighted a scenic walking route. She provided an umbrella for the rain that was forecasted, and then carried my luggage to our room.

The La Paulowna Boutique Hotel is a lovely hotel well situated close to the many things which are worth to be visited in Den Hague. The room we had for our family (4 persons) was spacious and with a luxurious flair. It makes totally sense to order the delicious breakfast as well.
