Really lovely, welcoming staff. Beautiful building (former bank) in a great location for access to everything in the town centre. Very nice room with a large, comfortable bed. A memorable touch was the fact that they leave a decanter of port in the communal area on the approach to the bedrooms and you can help yourself to a free nightcap. There is limited parking available on a first come, first served basis and we were lucky enough to secure a space, which was very useful. Good cocktail bar and restaurant in the hotel - we used both and we're very happy with both the service and the food/ drink.

The breakfast included in our deal was fine, but the coffee was very disappointing compared to the general standard in NZ, which is usually excellent.

It’s super clean. Very nicely decorated. The shower has excellent pressure. It is quiet and the walls are thick concrete, no sound between rooms! The service and food in the restaurant is excellent.

The room can be cold in winter. It’s fine when you’re dressed. Because the walls are so thick they stay the same temperature. The heat pump isn’t overly effective. One of my colleagues was a bit hot, another was too cold. The beds do have electric blankets. There is also an extra blanket in the wardrobe. If you’re staying there in winter I recommend using them.

Breakfast was continental as expected . We liked the happy hour drinks at 4pm, room was spacious and beds were comfy and clean. Was a nice with a lot of historical references plus central location to access wineries. Thoroughly happy with the whole stay. Staff was very helpful.

bathroom was cramped but can't change the layout of an old building. The fridge was not working, so couldn't store our food to keep cool but that's about it.

The hotel is stylish, comfortable and conveniently located to the township of Blenheim. In fact it’s so central you can just stroll everywhere in town. The vineyards are only a short drive away. Our Marlborough Tour bus was happy to pick us up out the front. We loved the comfortable bed and the fully screened shower had terrific water pressure. I also liked the fact are room had air conditioning but also had windows that we could open for fresh air. With only 9 rooms it never felt crowded. Breakfast was included and was a super continental breakfast served in the restaurant. Our stay was perfect. Great wifi and wonderful friendly staff. Room was made every day.

TV reception a bit scratchy on a couple channels, but you can use your own YouTube or Netflix.😃

We stayed in room 9. Nice room and comfy bed. Good continental breakfast. Would be good if the staff could offer espresso coffee - not sure if it was available or not. Great bar and restaurant. Food is great and the cocktails are not to be missed. The building is amazing and well presented with a lot of the heritage features preserved. Loved the grand staircase and chandelier.

Bathroom. Bit tight and shower leaked under the door. The shower is too big for the room - maybe install a shower box with a sealed door. Everything else was really good.

Staff friendliness and helpfullness, location in the centre of Blenheim, quality of the food, it was all real good and met my expectations. Also good: complimentary glass of port wine.

The room size was cramped. to full, especially with beds. There were a double and and a single bed, for a top market hotel (standard room charge $300.-) For that there should be more space in the room. 1 double bed is plenty. I could barely work on the desk, to cramped. distance between the desk and the bed could barely fit a chair. There is no power plug at the desk.

Fantastic boutique hotel in converted bank. Funky decor, comfortable room, great restaurant and bar. Complimentary breakfast was ample. Staff was top drawer. Really lovely. Would absolutely stay again.

We loved everything but the coffee. Happily there are many great cafes nearby for your morning espresso or whatever. If you’re a tea drinker, you’ll be happy as a clam with what’s on offer.

Wow the hotel has been done up lovely. The room was comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was a continental and was more than enough and we had a meal in their restaurant at night which was amazing. The hotel has a beautiful small bar which had entertainment in the evening but this stopped at 9.30 in consideration of their house guest. The location was also really handy to shopping.

Nothing:)

Was great to know that a continental breakfast was included in the price so we enjoyed a relaxing breakfast before travelling. The property is well maintained and is like a museum with all the historical memorabilia throughout. Staff were amazing, made us feel very welcome and were accommodating to our needs. The restaurant meal was 5 star and the Bamboo Tiger bar and cocktails were delicious! Will definitely be staying again next time we're in Blenheim. The location was perfect, being in the heart of the CBD.

This hotel was excellent in every way. It's an old building with interesting features which have been retained despite a complete refurbishment since we were there a few years ago. We had the best meal of our holiday in the hotel at their (Mollie's) restaurant; there are two bars at the hotel ; our (continental) breakfast was complimentary. The staff were all friendly and helpful to us.

Everything was excellent.
