The room was spacious, clean and perfect for our stay. It was quiet, the bed was SUPER comfortable. Didn't use the shower but it looked great, big. Bathroom lighting was great! Loved the small under cupboard light that would switch on when walking into the bathroom.

Bit disappointing looking out at a conifer hedge so close to our outdoor seating. Also... REALLY annoying NOT having an iron & ironboard in the room. Sorry but it's a hassle getting one from the laundry.. We also missed having a small bottle of milk in the fridge (for the price of the room, we would have expected that). These are maybe small details.. But we noticed them.

Warm welcome and check out. Great location. Nice and quiet. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good size with a desk and couple of chairs. Had a shower over the bath. Nice soft fluffy towels and 3 ply toilet paper! Tea/coffee in room. Great selection of magazines and books to read. Had a lovely evening meal at the Japanese restaurant in the complex, which also hada breakfast menu. An option of a bar meal also in the complex. Swimming pool available. Good bathroom heater.

Shower head sprayed water out the side, over the floor when I turned it on to adjust the temperature b4 hopping in. Probably needs adjusting. First place we've ever stayed where the fridge wasn't turned on and the milk not placed in the fridge! Little milk capsules we discovered in the morning, are left sitting out with the coffee and sugar. Not the best practise as felt it was too warm to use, and could possibly curdle with the sun coming in the window on warm days, right where it sits.

Was not happy that I did not notice that the SHOWER was over the BATH - as recently had knee Surgery and did not feel safe in Bath standing or climbing in. I would have asked when booking had I known it was climb into shower Plus was slippery I also used a small pillow for knee when in bed - I thought I had taken it out of between sheets in morning - Could not find - Bed had been pulled up - but they also missed my RED pillow between sheets - Took a while to locate for the 2nd night.

Continental Breakfast was very handy

The staff especially Phillipa were really lovely, she thought of things ahead and organised my bill and payment without any issue. I found the bar staff so awesome they were not fazed by delivering bubbles to my room. Such a professional but still friendly hotel . Also I had the platter with my friend and it was good size, full of flavour and not hard to eat.

In my reservation it said I ordered a quiet room but I don’t think I did prefer anything unless it was already on my booking form from ages ago

Very quiet, spacious, clean, comfortable room with good lights. A nice bath. Unlike many other accommodations - there was plenty shelf space in the bathroom. It was very useful to have dinner at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel as we stayed there on Good Friday and most of Blenheim was closed, especially at night. The nice receptionist suggested us to park close to the door, in an unmarked position, as we had a lot of luggage.

It was a cold night and both of the electric sheets did not work. Compared with other accommodations during my trip, I found this hotel pricy. It was probably a matter of supply and demand as Marlborough had no vacancies for that night. I suppose that Easter and the nearby Air Show contributed to it.

We did not have breakfast here. It was a one nighter. It was a rush decision due to at that time, as we were displaced due to the cyclone and our Ferry ride was cancelled twice from Picton to Wellington. We went to Blenheim to take the plane up to Auckland and out of the country ahead of our scheduled holiday at NZ. On a very positive note, the owner who was at the reception area, checked us out and was generous to let us to sit in the lobby area while we use the WIFI to book our flight out to Auckland and out of New Zealand.

The hotel did not have restaurant open and they do have shortage of staff. It doesn't matter to us though because we just want to be out of NZ after the cyclone and the 6.1 magnitude earthquake near Wellington the night we stayed at this hotel.

Upgraded on arrival to Executive room, newly redone and delightful. Had a deck outside our room with a sliding door access, very good! Good restaurant (Japanese Cuisine) inhouse. Would stay again next time. Very quiet location close to all main routes, easy to get into town and surrounds.

being unable to leave a secure window open at night, ventilation without airconditioning was problematic for us. Otherwise top stay.

The host was very helpful and kind. We had bicycles with us and he provided a secure area for storage overnight. Parking was easy right outside the room which was on ground level. The reception area was very welcoming. The pool looked great although we did not use. Our room was large, quiet and cool with a heat pump for air conditioning if required. We only stayed overnight but would love to stay longer. Walked into town along the riverside walking and cycling path. cycling along the path was great too. Restaurants nearby. Fridge only as usual in a hotel. Free wifi not that good but this is common to all places we have stayed. Recommended.

No Problems

the #1 thing in accommodation is cleanliness and this place is spotless! room is very quiet and comfortable, the blackout curtains are great, the staff were good at accommodating me to stay an extra night and allowing me to have the same room by juggling others around. Will definitely return.

Cant think of anything other than an iron would've been handy

Lovely modern decor and comfortable bed. Beautiful bathroom and nice to have a private courtyard to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine. High level of cleanliness. Good parking. Restaurant onsite however we did not go as we wanted a steak meal and the restaurant was sushi based.

Couldn't find a clothes iron? Only a small freestanding unit to hang clothes. No milk in the fridge?
