It was very impressive. Very clean very spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.

We were collected quickly from the airport in the hotel shuttle by a very friendly and helpful young lady, who then did our check in at the hotel. We were upgraded to a Business level room, which was totally unexpected. Lovely room, nice outlook and a very comfy bed. Room service was great as was breakfast. We had a meeting at the Golf Club over the road, so I asked about crossing the busy road to get there. I was then told, no problem, we will take you! My laziness level has now been increased to 'Supreme' as we were literally driven from one side of the road to the other!

The whole experience was amazing! We stayed in a large room with two double beds and a lovely garden outside. The dining experience was one of the best that I've ever had (albeit quite expensive) and the staff throughout the hotel were absolutely top class. I used the pool, spa and sauna in the evening too! There was also a surprisingly big carpark, with plenty of spaces for a large airport hotel. Would definitely go back!

Only a very minor thing but the jets in the spa weren't working properly and the sauna wasn't particularly hot.

EVERYTHING.we arrived 24th September. So thank you too all the following people who were on. from the shuttle driver, to the reception to the restaurant staff. The facilities are amazing and it is close to the airport. Hands down best hotel we have stayed at. So family friendly, room service, pool, spa, gym, sauna and an outdoor area. We definitely definitely will be back. Is there a commodore in other areas of NZ? Hotel overall was great, OTHER THAN the restaurant / food which was poor value at best. - Rooms, clean, tidy, comfortable and not shabby - Heated Indoor Pool - Light, bright and airy - Easy to park

- Advertised 'Pool exercise jet' not working. - Thin toilet paper. - Evening meal Sunday for eight people, celebrating a 60th birthday, was very VERY disappointing; not good value and the salmon dish / portion particularly was like a fish finger with NOTHING else on the plate with it, other than the fries ordered separately. - Barister at Mondays breakfast (only 8am i.e. not nearing the end of service) seemed to not want to be at work. - The ban-marie was not switched on and the food was cold. - At various times while we were trying to eat, between 8-9 Monday , there was / were no: - bread in the bin - milk for cerial - no plates in Continental All requiring us to ask for the items and wait until we could continue our breakfast.

Great facilities with lovely gardens. The swimming pool, spa and gym were excellent, and the restaurant had a very welcoming atmosphere. Delicious restaurant food, and our waiter was very careful to explain and check ingredients for our two children with allergies. Conveniently located to airport and for day trips out of town.

The menu didn’t cater well for allergies, and only dairy milk was available at breakfast. We had to ask to use some soy milk from the barista. We had two queen beds in our room for four people with only one small bedside table in between them, and no power points near the bed.

We were a family of two adults and a child. We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff are amazing and very helpful. Room was super clean and beds were very comfortable. Excellent facilities, pick up shuttle from and to the airport was great (someone was waiting for us on arrival). They also drove us to the Antartic Centre. The bus stop is right outside too and handy if you are going to the City. $4.40 for two adults and the bus stops right outside the Commodore. Taxi was $40 so catch the bus. Restaurant was excellent, food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast (great choices for brekky) and the service staff were amazing. Room service was great too. Great place to stay. Thank you Commodore :) We will happily return and would recommend to family and friends.

We were blown away at the facilities and the lovely staff. Our room was beautifully laid out with plenty of space for our family of four. We also ate at the restaurant for lunch which exceeded our expectations. We ordered dinner in our room and the delivery was fast and food just as exceptional. My partner tried the sauna and loved it along with the pool and spa. We had a cot delivered to our room and it was already set up for our arrival which was fantastic. We were really happy with our stay and look forward to staying again on our next business trip.

Nothing for us to fault. My partner told me the pool was a little cool for our little people but that is not an issue as the facilities we thought were great overall.

The location : the staff picked us up at the motor home rental place on a phone call which was very convenient. There is also a bus stop just in front of the hotel. There, you can catch a bus to the city center (less than 30min drive). The restaurant serves tasty food and the staff is very nice. The room was very comfortable and quite.

The swimming pool was filled with children so it was not a relaxing experience at all. The sauna is nice but there is no cold shower or bath next to it.

The room itself was really nice and well set out. Enough space to fit my family of 4. We had booked a room downstairs which had access to an outdoor garden through the sliding door. Room Service was great, food was delicious. Reception had a great feel for Christmas and well decorated. The Hotel is 3 minutes away from the airport which was convenient. Overall, I would stay here again when coming back to NZ. The day of our departure we had a shuttle bus that dropped us off at the airport.
