We stayed there 6 years ago & it was just as good this time. In fact there was so much food left for us we couldn't manage it. It's in a great position with easy access to the airport & in a lovely quiet location. The garden, grounds & pool are lovely. Sue & Greg were away but their daughter Amanda looked after us very well. It's also an easy drive into the city via Harewood & Papanui roads, so very convenient. The studio is well equipped & very comfortable - a real home from home.

The only disadvantage is that there is no stovetop or electric cooker, so only a microwave, which we don't really use. The kitchen area is quite small so I can understand the lack of a stovetop. There are, however, takeaways & places to eat just a short drive away, so it wasn't really a problem if you know what to expect. The rest of the studio more than makes up for the lack of this, however. We'd not hesitate to return!

We loved the whole place. Greg and Sue made us feel so welcome with their relaxed yet attentive style of hospitality. Our accommodation was so homely and perfect for our first night ever in New Zealand. The icing on the cake was Greg driving us, free, the following morning to the location nearby where we collected our campervan for our two week driving tour of South Island. A fabulous start to our New Zealand experience. Thank you.

I can’t even describe how cool this property is! Amazing for kids especially! There’s a full shed with a playhouse, a sandpit, playground, bikes and lawn to run on and of course a pool if it’s summer time! The hosts were so welcoming and kind. Our room was better equipped than anywhere I’ve ever stayed and there was yummy things like muffins, amazing breakfast choices and even some packed lunch. The room was warm and cozy and beds very comfy! It was definitely a ‘wow’ experience! :)

There are no complaints at all!

The property is just gorgeous, in a wonderful garden with swimming pool, tennis court, basketball hoop, ping pong and more. The rooms are as comfortable as a 5star hotel, even more: heating lamps in the bathroom, packed fridge and pantry for us to use, beautiful sun-lit dining area, cozy sofas, super fast washing machine and dryer... And: the hosts are very sweet and helpful.

The pool suite was fantastic - immaculately clean wiith lovely homemade touches such as muffins, pies and snacks which were unexpected and greatly appreciated after a long trip. Sue could not have been kinder and went out of her way to bring out toys for our toddler who was having a tantrum after the journey. The pool, playground and play house were a kid's dream.

Sue and Gregg were fantastic hosts , so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was perfect for us. After a long plane journey from Ireland we relaxed in the pool and jacuzzi. They had left us a great variety of food for breakfast which was delicious

Perfect location for our family! The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The children loved the pool and play areas. Plenty of delicious food provided for breakfast that met the whole families needs and the hosts were lovely and very accommodating!

Nice landlords. Big courtyard with many sports facilities. Cozy rooms with lovely decorations. Breakfast provided is delicious. Near the airport, convenient for travelers make Christchurch a transportation hub.

We enjoyed the aesthetic, the comfort and the wonderful and welcoming host. Very homely place and we LOVED the interior decor. The spa and pool and outside seating areas were to die for. The price was unmatched.
