Think the property needed to be more open about the fact they were also a winz property

We went to Wings over Wairarapa, so the location was perfect for us. We walked to dinner very nearby. The guy on the desk was very friendly and made us welcome. We were comfortable for the night, good bed very cozy. There wasn't a lot of accommodation available due to heavy bookings, so we were lucky to get this room close to where we were going, and walking distance to the supermarket too.

It was a little old fashioned, but very clean and tidy.

The staff at Amble Inn were great - I had ordered a cake for a family get-together and they kindly put it in our fridge before we arrived. All interactions with staff were friendly and professional. The unit (2bdr) was exactly what we needed. It was clean and neutrally decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect - just a quick walk to Queen St. For a motel in a small town, Amble Inn does an amazing job. Excellent choice if you have family in Wairarapa Village as we do now. We will definitely stay there when next in Masterton. Thank you Amble Inn.

Was a good location to the event that we attended. Was very spacious for the 4 adults. Had electric blankets on the beds and heaters to take the chill out of the bedrooms. Had all the kitchen items needed for breakfast. Linen was clean and fresh.

Apartment had a musty smell from being closed up (understandable its been raining and cold plus its winter time) The toilet door, when open hid the towel on the towel rack so we thought we had no towels. Would suggest leaving the towels on each bed and then guest can hang up on the towel rack or in their bedroom. More brochures of what Masterton has to offer would be great (restaurants, clubs, shops, bakeries etc)

Have stayed here previously. Always welcoming...unit clean & tidy. Location excellent for our needs and awesome parking for us with a trailer. Will stay here again.

Would have given a better Value score but the TV was hopeless. The box kept freezing and very limited channels to select from when it did work. Quite poor for a motel that is priced above the average range. Had permanent people staying next door and although pretty good they were noisy at times. Plus on first morning person staying in the other unit next to us was smoking and coughing loudly outside the door at a pretty early time.

The location, the staff was very nice, the room itself very pretty and the facilities were clean and all the accessories were there for even a long stay, which we didn't utilise. Parking right next to the room is also very fun.

I loved the location, close to everything and especially to the venue that our son was there to participate in his waka ama competition. I loved that the owners Debbie and her husband accommodating us by way of doing our washing and drying at no cost, that we had free wi-fi and access to the pool facilities, and the use of their motel towels, advising us to save our ones for the lake. This was much appreciated. They were great and easy to converse with. I love that kind of hospitality. I would use this motel again, even through I know they wont be the owners next time we book. I wish them both good luck for the future.

Kitchen appliances reported as having faults ie microwave turntable not working and fridge freezing food items Neighbouring units had disturbing guests at times

We received a very friendly welcome on check in. We have stayed here before and enjoyed it so were happy to return even if new owners have taken over. The room was just what we wanted. Clean, tidy and comfortable and it was quiet. We would happily stay here again on our return to Masterton.

Closely located to my sporting event. Friendly chap at reception. Clean and tidy room. Comfortable. Off-street parking and swimming pool on-site.

Swimming pool area looked a bit unmaintained. Suggest a garden service for a clean up.
