We travelled as a family and used 3 units. Having a kitchenette each allowed us to have meals together and there was a nice BBQ area to also sit together outside when it wasn't raining. The spa pool was great and when you booked in to use the spa pool, they also gave you additional towels to use which was really good. Close to everything and easy to find as it is on the main road. We all thought it was good value for money and the facilities were really well kept and the whole place was always clean. We stayed a week and always had access to clean linen and supplies in the rooms were checked and replaced each day. On the main road but double glazed so very minimal road noise when the windows are closed.

The only thing we didn't like was the bed in our unit was a bit tired and didn't give much support but the other beds in the other units the family was in, were really good. We stayed for a week and would have liked to have a broom to sweep the room.

Next time, we'd stay upstairs to avoid hearing people above us stomping around late at night. The main light in the centre of the room is quite harsh so we ended up using the other lights - maybe a softer tone bulb would be nicer?

The room was lovely and spacious. The whole unit was lovely and clean

The shelf on the inside of the fridge fell off when I put my water bottle in it, it had obviously been fixed there before as it had thick selotape on it The shower dial was really tricky to move for turning off the water when finished I got scalded on the back of my shoulder from the hot trying to turn it off. Not great

Everything was fine and clean. Bed was comfy and staff welcoming. Would recommend to others and certainly stay again. Thank you

There was no book of information and Wi-Fi in our room. I asked staff about one and it was given to us straight away the next day. Need to check ceiling corners for cobwebs as we had a nice one hanging down. Els doesn't do spiders and we did forget to tell staff. Just a heads up really.

Handy location. Double glazing which meant the room was super quiet in spite of being on a main road. The owners were very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to help us. The bed was comfy and the room easy to heat. The room looked newly refurbished. All you ever need in the kitchenette was supplied. Good job owners!

A heater / fan in the bathroom would have been good. All else was fabulous

The venue is located near the main road through New Plymouth and is in close proximity to the city centre and other shopping centres in the area. In addition it's near the beach and coastal walkway and numerous other routes which cater for running, walking and cycling. The room is super clean, the bed is comfortable and the laundry is changed on a daily basis. The owners, Paul and Sharyn are super hosts and very accommodating.

Absolutely nothing.

It was spacious and comfortable. It has everything we needed, parking spot directly in front of our room, and the bed was very comfortable.

The daily room service was nice. However, the cleaners left plant material on the carpet, which was less nice. The shower was a bit small. These are just nit picks though. Very happy overall.

It‘s a beautiful motel with nice parking lots directly in front of your room. The room was cozy, the kitchen was well equipped - we had everything we needed. In addition to that, perfect location - everything was easy to reach (and you almost couldn‘t hear the traffic).

There was no real dining table inside apart from the shelf underneath the TV and the small table outside (that we used when the weather was good) - but it was fine

it will take twenty minutes to walk into the city center, so keep that in mind if you don‘t have a car

The room was fully self contained with two cooking rings, toaster, kettle and all required crockery, cutlery and cooking needs. This was unexpected and we certainly made use of this. The room was really clean, and although it’s on a main road, we were up off the street and it was super quiet. We loved the hosts had listed places “they choose to eat at” and other places they also recommend. Loved “Gusto” and “The Happy Hour”.
