The apartment was on the second floor and we had a fantastic view of the lake. The furnishings were in very good condition and the kitchen was equipped with the essentials. Everything was very clean, the beds were excellent and it was quiet at night. The only time it was a bit noisy (this happened rarely and then not for long) was when the Briscooes company next to the motel was loading or unloading material. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They brought us a large cooking pot that was missing. We were also able to do our laundry at no extra cost.

Very pleasant place to stay within walking distance to restaurants and central shops. We were fortunate to have 2 upstairs rooms next to the outdoor dining tables at the front of the motel. Spectacular weather and clear views of the mountains, with outdoor meals were an unexpected bonus. Separate lounge and bedrooms were appreciated. All the staff we had contact with were excellent.

No breakfast is available, but there is good kitchen facilities if required, and there are nearby cafes. No specific car parks for each room may be an issue if the motel is fully booked, although we had no problem with parking.

Wonderful venue...quiet, warm and roomy great quality accessories and fully equipped kitchen with good quality gear for cooking too. Stayed warm even without using heatpump it is so well built. Attractive and spacious Giant bathroom gorgeous and well supplied Large bedroom though odd wardrobe unit Instead of cupboards. Great location the lake is right across the road! Quick walk to great eating and shopping

Moteliers could not have been more helpful. From a friendly welcoming smile, I was informed I had been upgraded and the heating was on ready for me. They popped in to put my heating on another afternoon knowing I was coming back later in the day and it was forecast to get cold. I felt cared for. It was very clean, a quiet yet central location across the road from the lake and near shops, restaurants etc. I was in Taupo for a conference so the quiet serenity of the location and being able to walk by the lake in the morning and go out to dinner without the need of a car or taxi was great. Would definitely return. Thank you :)

Quietness, spaciousness, kitchen. Great bathroom and toiletries. Close to the township. Nice to have a private outdoor space on the ground floor.

Jug button had to be held down, but not really a problem. Carpet edges has nails coming up through which I stood on with socks a couple of times. Didn't break my skin but needs to be attended to please. No parking on first night so had to park on the lawn. Dedicated parking would be good. The Heat pump did not really increase the temp when turned up. Didn't appear to do anything. But I was warm enough.

Everything, from start to finish. The staff were amazing, and very helpful and friendly. Our accomodation was spotlessly clean. We had cooking facilities, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, and luxury white towels. It really was a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend Acacia Lake View Motel.

Located close to the lake and town, the whole unit was so clean and spacious! We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The units are nicely positioned that it's very easy to walk around without having to drive just to roam around town. They're surrounded by restaurants and eateries that you wouldn't worry about going hungry, you can walk there or get it delivered, or you can also make your own food as the units are equipped with kitchenette. Favorite part is their bathroom! soooo clean, very cleannnn!! plus massive space 100%

The beds are quite hard and uncomfortable.

great location, though comes with a little bit of noise being so central to Taupo. room was beautiful and modern with an awesome shower. and loved the outside deck area upstairs with the lake view.

we had an issue with our fridge made a loud buzzing noise off and on and kept me awake during the night. When I brought to attention of the owners on departure there was no apology for my bad nights sleep. They just said something like “oh yes we have another one like that!” (what?). also they need better toasters. the one we had couldn’t fit more than a skinny piece of toast in it.

Great location, really clean, spacious room. Lovely helpful staff. We booked under the impression with the info on room saying there was a stovetop. On arrival, there wasn’t…seemed to be a mistake on the booking.com site. However, the staff understood we booked because of the facilities, and in replace of a stovetop, gave us a electric pan which was enough for the few days for us. Only certain rooms come with the stovetop, but on this occasion the staff were so helpful and we appreciated it a lot.

Wi-Fi started great but then didn’t seem to work on our last day/night. But not too big an issue.

The staff were very welcoming👍🏼 Pefect accommodation for 2 days while we explored Taupo for my wifes bday weekend. The room was comfortable & very clean with great shower and good wifi, we will definitely stay here again when in Taupo. Close to all the resturants and attractions & our room was upgraded for free to a room with a lake view! Awsome👍🏼 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+ stars from us. Cal & jojo
