The hotel is beautiful. The lobby and dining areas are impressive! The cuisine was very good. Buffet style. Main cuisine was local but some American Items were always available on the menu. The hotel staff is AMAZING! They are all so kind, professional and very courteous. I think we befriended them all. In-house massages were also very good. The gym was an added bonus; good equipment. We spent many hours by the pool area. Such a lovely stay. We felt safe in their care. Guards and attendants surrounded the hotel perimeter.

We were not given a lot of "tourist options" but we hired a driver and took us to many places to purchase art and other items.

The room and accommodation surrounding

The fact I paid for my room and for two persons breakfast. I was rushing to work and I requested for a take out plate that I will pay for but the supervisor refused, I got angry and left the food I was eating. It is totally wrong for a place I like staying hence my doubt if I will use Lilygate hotel. I called for a bathrobe and I was totally pushed by saying I am coming, I am coming and still didn’t get what I wanted and I insisted that when booking online. I guess there are people whom they give preferences

There was always food available, and you can order food day or night.

I think this is a Nigerian thing, and not a reflection upon the hotel, but however, they don't use wash towels. I had to buy what they call on sponge. It is like a nylon material they scrub their skin with. Americans wash our faces with a washcloth. When I asked for washcloths, they had no idea what I was asking for.

Staff were courteous and friendly. Environment was clean and lounge was user friendly. The ambience was good and breakfast was great with varieties on offer.

Parking was quite limited. Response from maintenance team can be quicker - had to wait for almost 1 hour! Noise coming from the club disturbed my sleep on Friday night - could have been warned of the club opening before hand so a room away from the club could be requested.

Breakfast was good. Maybe they can offer some more fruit options and some more lighter options for those of us who don’t eat a heavy breakfast. But I did appreciate that they were willing and able to prepare certain breakfast items to my request as part of the breakfast buffet included in my reservation. The restaurant and lobby staff were amazing and attentive and the hotel was lively and engaging, and I will definitely stay there on my next trip.

Just the annoying phone issue that couldn’t be fixed.

The location of the property is superb. There are so many conveniences such as banks, Restuarant etc. at close proximity to the facility. The management of the property hired good people staring from those at the front desk, bell man, security, Restuarant and house keeping.

Nothing noteworthy.

I visited Lilygate after being in Lagos for two weeks and had experienced rolling blackouts lack of water and other inconveniences that I don’t suffer in the US… just different here in Nigeria. The hotel really had all modern conveniences and I appreciated it so much! Never was I lacking comfort while being here and I needed it terribly. The staff is extremely gracious and hospitable and they wait on you hand and foot even when you don’t want them to; they just make you feel like family and that they want to do everything for you to help you be comfortable and welcome. I stayed 5 days and everyday got better from the hospitality to the food and service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will definitely visit again when in Lagos.

Renovations on pool were going on preventing me from enjoying that part of property. I appreciate they keep the place up however. Just bad timing for me.

The hotel was clean and had a nice smell. The rooms were very comfortable. The location is good too.

The breakfast and lunch buffet didn't have alot of options but it was still ok.

the hotel is amazing , everything works as it should, the staff are very nice and helpful from prince at the entrance to Kehinde at the restaurant and Zanab!! at the pool area. I felt safe and happy. will defo be going back

Excellent customer service...the Reception staff are so welcoming and well-trained. The Restaurant staff are helpful and professional. Love the central location of the hotel within Lekki Phase 1. It's close to major access road, shops, food and night life. The general ambience and energy of the reception and restaurant area especially during buffets is awesome! The buffet meals are tasty and made with a hint of home cooking. Comfortable rooms with good housekeeping. Spa massage was great!

The room fridge wasn't cold enough.
