The breakfast was really very good. They thought of everyone with also amazing gluten-free cakes. We asked for the breakfast box on our last day because we were leaving early and even this one was made thoughtfully with two sandwiches and two fruits each. The kitchen team is doing a great job so thank you! The location was good and we enjoyed the free tea.

The room was really noisy because of the ventilation of the building and if wasn’t easy to sleep because of the light coming from the curtain (in 3 pieces that doesn’t close properly) and the ventilation noise. I called the first day to ask if it was possible to turn the ventilation off because I don’t think I can sleep with that much noise (and putting the card off doesn’t make any difference) and they said “no” but that they can come to check if our room is specially noisy and maybe change us into an other room. It was 22.20 and the woman at the reception told us “I arrive in ten minutes” we waited until 23.00 the woman never showed up (which I found really a terrible lack of respect that late when we want to go to bed). But some other people at the reception later on were a lot nicer.

Our stay at this central hotel was a true delight. The rooms were beautifully designed with a touch of modernity and style. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep every night. Though the room wasn't enormous, it was more than sufficient for our needs and offered all the essential amenities we required for a pleasant stay. One of the highlights of our experience was the breakfast. We opted for the package with breakfast included, and it was well worth it! The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide array of tasty treats to satisfy every palate.

Big "but": Hotel wasn't able to provide one member of the group with the pre-booked (and pre-paid!) room category and downgraded the person to a single room... without even offering reimbursement of the price difference! (just a fruit platter to make up) I hope this was a singular mistake. Rooms are not very spacious either.

Very clean, comfortable and friendly hotel - we stayed 2 nights on our way out to a hiking trip in the Lysefjord. Many reviews mention the breakfast and rightly so; it was one of the most impressive breakfast spreads we've seen and was absolutely delicious including beautiful cappuccinos. Beds were very comfortable. Location is very central for walking around the heart of Stavanger (and for running our pre-hike grocery errands etc.) Norway is famously expensive, but in local context this hotel was good value.

Rooms are a little small and more modern than cozy but extremely clean and totally acceptable. If I were traveling for business I'd have wanted a desk or table which the room didn't have.

- Rooms with limited size - especially with 2 larger suitcases - AC cannot be turned off (I experienced this also in other hotels in Norway)

The breakfast is exceptional. I have stayed in hotels for work and pleasure all around the world, and the breakfast options at Thon are with the very best. You will not be disappointed. The styling and the small touches in the hotel are great, and I don't think the photos do the hotel justice. The location is also perfect, with easy walking access to all of the key tourist locations in Stavanger. I would absolutely stay here again.

Only thing to note is that the rooms are a little small - well mine was. But all the facilities in them, and the comfort, cleanliness and modern styling is just superb.

I really loved the breakfast: the choice was great and we could take our time to enjoy the food. On Sundays you can have breakfast until 11 o'clock. We also got vouchers for 4 light evening meals (Mon.-Thu.) I also liked the fact that you can take water and tea/ coffee for free in the lounge area.

Check in and out went really quick and easy. The staff was friendly and helped with any questions I had. I was happy with the size and standard of the room, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection!

My room was a bit cold and I found it difficult to change it on the aircon dial. I spoke with reception who told me how to change it, but it was still difficult to set it at a comfortable temperature. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about the room and hotel.

Breakfast are the best ever!!! The breakfast will be reason of my next visit in this hotel. Good location, it is in the city centre. Bus station is in front of the hotel. 25 min from the airport. There are everything in the room what you can need. Taxi order automat is at the reception and works very precise.

Very small rooms, but I don´t know if is it standard in Norway, or not.

Delicious breakfast, many options, coffee/tea available all day. Beautiful community room with comfortable sitting on the 2nd floor. Very clean room, with mini bar, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Very friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended!
