Easy access to gates, comfortable. We couldn’t benefit from the restaurant and other facilities because of time constraints.

The staff who assist us spend more than 15 minutes to give us the room!!! We came around 4:30 am, and we wanted to sleep, as soon as possible, to be prepared for our next flight after 4 and half hours. I believe it’s important to finish the check-in process within maximum 5 minutes.

Clean spacious room with all the facilities exceeding expectation. Everything is as described. Best hotel for transit passagers and solo travelers. Staff are very friendly and always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was not upto the mark could have been better.

The Aerotel has the convenience that it is placed exactly within the transit area. So, for those who require a good rest, the hotel gives you the convenience of not having to leave the airport. The price of the rooms are based on hours. I took once a 6 hour slot and another instance a 12 hour slot due to my long layover. For passengers who are transiting via Muscat airport, once you are done with the hand baggage check. You can take an elevator to level 5 directly. The staff is really helpful and was accommodating the special requests. All the rooms are standard and have a similar layout (at least from the 2 rooms I stayed in). The staff mentioned that due to Corona regulations, they cannot offer Sauna, Gym or the Swimming Pool facilities. I can recommend the travellers to carry an extra set of clothes and toiletry if they need any extras. Hotel provides as usual handsoap, shampoo, body wash and body lotion. Also, they do provide toothbrush and paste. The TV is mounted on a pivotal wall mount. can be used as an extended screen if you need to work. You can connect your computer through the ports offered.

1. Food services. The food and services in the restaurant was "Canteen" like quality. Due to Corona of course, it was served in disposable takeaway plates and provided plastic cutleries. 2. The television is connected to Apply TV and it was difficult to control it. Channels as mentioned in the instructions were not available. I could access YouTube once, and the next time I tried, it was not connected to the internet anymore.

A bit expensive, but can't complain as the location is inside the terminal. Got two complementary meals which was an added bonus

Had a long stop over at Muscat airport. Travelling with a teenager so decided to book the closest to the airport and this hotel is in the airport, as described in their profile/description. Requested a room with 2 single beds and was provided. Its arranging these small requests that really makes the difference. Easy check in. Polite staff, helpful and provided guidance as plan was to go out and visit locally but after advice decided to spend some time in the airport mall after refreshing up. Flight was delayed and was able to come back and spend some more time in the room.

We loved the set up of the room, it was very elegant. Bed was super comfortable too. I also loved the fact that they had a study/work station in the refreshment area with extremely comfortable seating and plenty of international/mixed option outlets. I had to work that day and the room ones didn't work well but the workstation was an extremely useful addition.

The sink leaked if it was filled too much. We wanted to wash a few things in the sink and filling it up even halfway caused it to leak from the back somehow. It could've just been the room we were in, but it was inconvenient in that sense.

The hotel was very clean and modern. We appreciate how quiet it was and that food at the flight club was easy to get to. The internet was strong.

The hotel was good, the staff could be more approachable. They were friendly but not approachable. The airport itself was very difficult to get through security to the hotel. Our tickets were for the next day and we were told that we could not pass through security until 8 hours before our flight. It took over 2 hours to get permission to pass through security and this required a hotel employee to come and escort us to the hotel. After a long day of travel we were tired and hungry, this was not expected or appreciated. The apple tv in the room required resetting multiple times by hotel staff.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was great to receive free bottles of water and facilities for making a cup of tea and coffee. The wifi was efficient, the shower was powerful and the water was nice and hot. The provision of shower products was helpful for travellers. I asked for a hairdryer and this was provided by house keeping. There was a TV in the room but I couldn't make it work, on the other hand I didn't really want to watch the TV as I had my own IT equipment. For those travelling Business Class the Oman lounge is next door to the hotel and this means you can easily walk to get refreshments.

Perfect location for anyone in transit with a lengthy stop over.

The cleanliness of the room, combined with its convenient location at the heart of the airport, provides a great opportunity to rest and rejuvenate before continuing your journey.

There is room for improvement in the breakfast and lunch buffet, as they are currently limited and do not match the price paid. During my stay, I noticed a faint but repetitive squeaky sound in the room, resembling the chirping of crickets. It was difficult to determine whether the sound originated from the air-conditioning vents or from outside. Nonetheless, the persistence of the sound was quite bothersome.
