Very cozy boutique hotel with plants everywhere and a great location. I recommend the spa, it was really nice and relaxing after a long tour, just make sure to book it a couple of days before. The room balcony has a great view of the volcano.

At first they gave me a room very different from the photos on Booking, once I claimed they gave me the right one. Bathroom too small, tiny shower without tiles on the floor. Too many flies at the reception. I booked a massage session that was last minute canceled. A bit too expensive for what you get, be careful with the final price after taxes.

This hotel was incredible, I still think about it as the most peculiar and nice hotel I've stayed in. It's located in the historical area, not a long walk from the main square. The interior is like a museum, it's made of stone and wood. We stayed in two rooms, one of them was big: big bed, big tv, (not a real unfortunately) fireplace, big closet, wood floors, stone walls, view of the city. The other room was small and not so impressive except for the view of beautiful flowers on the walls of the building and the majestic volcano in the distance. Breakfast was really really good (the best out of all places we traveled in Peru). There is a boiler with variety of teas at the front desk which I took advantage of all the time. You can book massage and sauna. And one of my favorite things about the place is Benito, cat that lives at the hotel. I definitely would love to come here again.

The only thing is the showers. In both rooms we had the showers were not very powerful and not very hot or difficult to set the right temperature. Also there is no door or curtain so the water goes everywhere. Strange design choice. Oh, and the sauna needs upgrade: the room with the pool is very cold, the pool is cold (even the hot tub).

The room was very nice, comfortable bed and with a bathtub in the room which helped a lot with the cold temperature. The interior garden is beautiful, with a lot of plants which give a lovely atmosphere of the place. The spa is also nice, we had a massage and used also the sauna and it was very good.

The room is not properly isolated and during the night it can get very cold. Also you can hear everything from the near rooms! For ex our neighbours had a fight for 1 hour at 2 am which besides that kept us awake it gave a very bad feeling. We had to call the reception to make them stop.

The room was great - perfect for one person! And adding an additional person would've worked well, too. The staff across the board were wonderful, too. Big ups to Francesca for the great recommendations in the city and to Juan for his kindness and openness. The Wi-Fi is super strong and the hotel is located right behind the monastery, so you're close to everything. The interior is beautifully decorated with lovely flowers and you have a great view of the three volcanoes from the roof. Highly recommend!

There is DEFINITELY hot water for showers, which is great. But sometimes it would come in REALLY hot at times. However, this is NOT a major issue compared to other properties where you're lucky to have any hot water at all. Literally my only only critique of this spot!

The hotel is beautiful. It is characterful and charming so if you are looking for modern luxury this might not be the place for you. We absolutely loved it . Bougainvillea and geraniums fill private courtyards and most rooms have a balcony of some sort. The breakfast area is enchanting. In terms of location you can’t do better. It is a short walk to the Place de Armes and the Cathedral and all the local museums.

Some of the staff seemed a bit preoccupied at times and not with the hotel or guests

After we arrived in the morning we could get some breakfast, which was awesome after a long bus ride. We also received a free room upgrade with the asked room in the back. After our stay we booked a Colca Canyon trek, the organisation called the hotel, and the lady asked us on the last night in the hotel, if we were doing the Colca Canyon trek the day after. We confirmed, and she offered a breakfast to go, which should be ready when we leave at 3:00! Again awesome!

Of course there are some minor details, of the extra payment of the sauna, which is 17 dollars a person, quite some money (the showers in there were cold). Took some time to warm up the water for the bath and shower.

Very beautiful and and tastefully designed hotel, we were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in and the garden/breakfast area was leafy-green and with lots of character; great value for money overall; pleasant breakfast; lovely spa area at extra cost; fantastic location; friendly and accommodating staff; we loved the double bath and great selection of channels on the TV.

We accidentally booked an extra night and tried to cancel but we got no money back; room a little cold and open concrete wall a little ugly.

The location is perfect for being in the historical center of Arequipa. The hotel is just a couple of blocks to the main plaza and the Santa Catalina Monastery is in front of the hotel though you have to walk around the block to reach the entrance. Our room had a view of the Misty Volcano. Arequipa seems to be a busy city 24 hours of the day so street noise could be heard in our room but it did not interfere with our sleep. The reception staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Loved our 2 receptionists, both were more than helpful. I don't often hug a receptionist in a hotel goodbye bit o fid in this instance. The hotel was probably an old Spanish home, there are hallways, patios and rooms all over the place, definitely not your normal hotel. Great lookout points of the city. It is a photographer's dream, hibiscus flowing down from higher points and while there a bride was usi g the hotel prior to getting married for photographs. Our room had a most interesting interior design, the bathtub was sunken into the floor, the toilet and shower were located behind a door further in from the hand basin. Location is extremely good short walk to historical center, bars and restaurants.

Breakfast was well stocked buffet BUT we prefer bacon and eggs and they supplied scrambled eggs but there was nothing heating the serving dish so the eggs were never hot, in fact barely warm. Bacon in Peru appears to be a small slightly spicy sausage not strip if bacon as we know it. Toilet seat was loose and didn't fit the base properly. Sadly because it's an older building, hot water takes a while to come through. I was aware there are no elevators so I ca not complain but for my old 70 year old knees they were difficult.

I loved everything about this charming beautiful hotel. You feel like you are living inside of a movie. The views were great. The Roman bath spa was also a great experience. My bed was super comfortable and there was also a tub in my room to take a long relaxing bath. There are plenty of spaces for you to sit in the "indoor-outdoor" areas and eat meals, read a book, etc. The staff also were very helpful.

The balcony door to my room did not close all of the way.
