Breakfast was exceptional and the hotel staff (River and Blanca) were very gracious/ professional. The hallway lighting was a bit dim, but was eventually replaced with brighter bulbs. Bathrooms - both in the room and public areas were clean and appeared to be well maintained, although the shower drain in our room (412) was slow to drain. If you are visiting from outside of South America you will need to get used to placing toilet tissue into a trash pail! The rooms could use an increased supply of towels. Really, the only complaint I would have is there are no wash cloths supplied, so you will need to bring or buy your own. Unfortunately, we could not stay longer!

The hallway lighting was too dim. There were no wash cloths in the bathroom. The map supplied by the front desk needs to be a “top down” view rather than a perspective projection, and needs to indicate both scale and “North.”

great location in the historic Centre just across the street to Santa Catalina. beautiful design of the rooms and lobby fitting the style of the city, comfortable and clean rooms. they have an underground garage parking so you can sleep calm without worries about your car :)

in the night you can hear a bit of the street bar noise, most staff didn’t speak well English. the breakfast was not the best variety, but I guess it’s a local standard.

Local staff were extremely nice and ready to solve any problems. The hotel is managed from Lima and there is a disconnect with the local staff which led to some issues, like not finding our reservation! Local staff worked out really hard to help us. At breakfast Sr Jaime will make your day with his warmth and big smile, however breakfast is very basic and scarce. The location is a real privilege, it is a beautiful spot.

The hotel has few rooms that face a very noisy street with nightclubs. In my opinion, these rooms should not be used during the weekend as the noise is really bad. Customers should be warned about it. There was another room that has a noise like hammering for hours long. We were able to change rooms, but these issues should be address.

Building was quite nice and very close to the main square. The staff of the hotel was super nice and helpful. Breakfast had a big selection of different things. The person in charge of the breakfast, Jaime, is lovely and extremely kind and very helpful. We felt very comfortable during our stay

Windows are not very soundproof and the room we got was close to a disco so could be a bit loud at nights on that side of the building

Really terrible. Very poor choice, stale bread, rancid butter, fake juice, bad coffee. The only bad food we ate in all of Peru in 4 weeks. Just awful.

The breakfast. And check in procedure was very poor, no welcome, just brusque demanding passport and money. This is a lovely hotel in a lovely location with some very good employees but we got impression that staff were demotivated and badly managed. A hotel that could make much more of itself and be really special.

The property is very close to the city center, restaurants, entertainment, etc. It was quite the perfect location. The rooms were also very clean, and the staff was phenomenal. They were always available to answer our questions and were very helpful with suggesting what to do around town. But what stood out most is that they truly seek to satisfy their customers. Hot tea was made available in the lobby daily, they happily greeted us each morning, and they allowed us to store our bags in their storage room for a few hours after we had checked.

Perfect location in the heart of Arequipa in a beautiful colonial building. The modern rooms are nice and spacious. There's no noise from the city whatsoever. The staff is very helpful.

The free breakfast is very limited. Offering more variety would be really a plus. The personnel should also react quicker to keep things tidy ; we noticed a food platter on the floor in one of the hallways at night and it was still there in the morning. Some light bulbs didn't work in the room and no one cared.

The location was perfect! Close to the main square and many restaurants.

The cleaning service was not quite well organized. I stayed for 3 nights and sometimes the bedroom was cleaned at 11 am and others at 2 pm. It was uncomfortable coming to the Hotel after being on a tourist attraction and find out the bedroom is not ready yet or worst, having people starting to clean and not being able to have some rest.

The location is fabulous. The breakfast was buffet style, and was serviceable. The public spaces are very nice. The price was unbelievable - I actually stayed here twice, for two nights, while I was staying at another hotel in AQP, just for a change of scenery.

For the price, it was an amazing deal. Rooms were a tad spartan. Woman at front desk looked a little annoyed and said no, when I asked for change for 100 soles - that surprised me. It's hard to break 100 or 200 soles in Peru, even though that's what the ATMs spit out, and I think you should be able to count on your hotel to help you out.

It felt like a castle, it was very clean, the grounds are very beautiful, artwork, everything was studying. Breakfast was amazing.

That even though I tried to cancel within the timeframe that booking.com allowed me they would not except my cancellation or offer the refund so I asked them to do my laundry and they said that they would in exchange for the night that they got for free and then they tried to charge me half the money for the laundry. I don’t like bait and switches.
