Location is amazing - less than one block from the Plaza de las Armas. Also the staff are fantastic. They have a simple breakfast every morning and there is always coca tea available. This of course isn't anything the hotel has done wrong per se so I'm not putting it in the below section, but travelers should be aware: there's no central heat. It's an old building and I'm guessing retrofitting would be prohibitively expensive. They give a ton of blankets but without central heat there's only so much they can do. I did see a space heater in the hallway at one point so they may have some to lend, however I never inquired about it. Keep in mind Peru is southern hemisphere, so the seasons are inverted from the northern ones.

The best part was the location, just by the main square. The are has plenty of restaurants and stores, even lots of travel angencies to book trips around the area. The staff was helpful but mostly speaks spanish.

The brekfast is simple and you get bored after the third day, the wifi is really unstable and you loose signal for minutes at a time or its just slow. For working meetings via zoom we really struggled.

It was good, the service and the people were great! There was hot water, the breakfast was good and they give you free coca leaves and hot water 24/7 for tea to acclimate to the altitude

The bathroom was way too small, and the room was very cold but they provide a lot of throws so it doesn’t get that bad at night

Fantastic location, only minutes from central square and all the attractions and eateries. Very friendly staff, always happy to help and greeted cheerfully. Stored my bag twice whilst away on treks. Clean and large rooms.

Great location and less than a block from the main plaza. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. Rooms were tidied during the day. Beautiful patio and seating areas throughout. Our beds were very comfortable.

Sound travelled very easily so if you're a light sleeper, I would bring some ear plugs. The room got very cold at night but the blankets on the bed were more than enough once you got under them. The food at breakfast ran out quickly so go when it first opens.

It was very clean, the staff was nice. The facilities are pretty.

The lack of a heater made us not feel so comfortable in the room. It was hard to shower and stay there if not to sleep.

We arrived at 5:30am and I was able to check in after I had emailed and let them know early. There was no extra charge for a “half night” stay which was great! Location only 200m from main plaza. Sooo close!

The shower was pretty cold, hot water didn’t work very well. Also was very noisy, because the window was left open which I had no idea.

Excellent location. Nice hotel lounge area.

No English speaking staff. Small space heater would be welcome. Shower curtain too short, so bathroom floor got soaked. Front door locked, so had to ring for desk clerk every entry.

This is a little gem! Loved our stay here. Place is very central, clean and homey. Breakfast was really nice. Host went beyond his way to arrange tours at a good price! Also facilitated early check in with no issue. We enjoyed the shared living room too! Thank you!
