Everything was nice, the only thing was a bad smell in the washroom possibly coming from the sewage. They did send someone to take a look but I guess it is difficult to find this as this happens during certain times after using the washroom or shower. I suspect this was because of the drain in the washroom floor which is open to the sewage instead of having a p connector.

This hotel was outstanding, even for experienced travelers. The spacious colonial architecture combined perfectly with the convenient furnishings. The bed was super extra-large, literally over 2 meters wide. The exceptional breakfast offered a wide variety of food. The staff were very helpful and always ready to ensure guests felt comfortable. We thank them for this wonderful stay

One small issue (which, honestly, we’ve noticed not only here but in other Peruvian hotels as well) is that guests need to pay extra for breakfast coffee if they aren’t satisfied with the standard mid-quality coffee served from a thermos. We believe that a hotel of this caliber shouldn’t charge for such minor items

The location was outstanding. We were within a few blocks of the main plaza and historic buildings. The door men were great helping with cabs, luggage, storage, directions, etc.

Front desk staff was often confused about reservation, storage, and amenities. The female employee was great help and seemed to know her job but the male employees both struggled. Got a double charge at discharge for a restaurant charge causing problems with the credit card company. Taxi arranged by hotel tried to overcharge us at the airport after we were given a price by the hotel. He finally backed down and took what we were told would be the charge. (20 soles vs 50 soles) more than double the quote.

Excellent location , walkable to lot of cafes, shopping areas and center of the city. Breakfast was really good with a nice spread of items. It opens at 4am , easy for folks heading out to the early morning hikes. We could keep our luggage at the hotel storage during the days of the hike to Machu Picchu. Food at the restaurant was excellent, very good quality and tasty. We preferred eating at the hotel restaurant than other places outside. Staff was very professional.

Rooms at the lower levels didn't not have view outside the windows. Seemed pretty closed.

It seems like the majority of hotels in Cusco don't have an incorporated heating system in the rooms, and it is limited due to the high price of electricity and gas in Peru; but, Costa del Sol by Wyndham was exceptionally comfortable cause they are one of the few hotels that have heated rooms! (Cusco gets very cold in the evenings and mornings, at least in the 30's F) Having that perk was covering the price of the nights by itself. The bedroom has a tub, so after a long day of hiking and touring the city; I looked forward to a hot bath. The cleaning was fabulous, and we had our beds refreshed every day. The snack bar in the room was reasonably priced and convenient to bring a snack on our hikes | The best part is the staff, amiable and helpful. The restaurant (PAPRIKA) and the complimentary breakfast are excellent too. I highly recommend this hotel!

The lobby was the only place without a heating or air conditioning system, so waiting for tours at 4:00 am was a little uncomfortable, and I felt bad for the personnel enduring the cold there.

The staff was excellent, particularly a woman in the restaurant who went above and beyond to bring a food tray to the room when my daughter wasn't feeling good. The reception also kept my bags in storage for a 24 h period while I was out of Cuzco. I found the staff excellent. On another occasion, for a meeting with travel agent, the restaurant made a private room available to us so we wouldn't be disturbed.

I booked this hotel for the location and it absolutely did not disappoint! It was so easy to get around town by just walking but they were also fantastic in setting up a taxi if needed as well. We spent one night here before doing the short Inca trail and they held our luggage for when we came back and we stayed 4 additional nights. The was always a variety at breakfast and they also had made to order omelets and Fresh squeezed orange juice. Our room was very inviting and refreshing after a day out touring and the jacuzzi tub was an added bonus. The staff was very attentive and courteous for our entire stay and they've got a great bar for drinks at the end of the night. We would definitely stay here again without question!

It's really hard to come up with anything negative to say about this hotel!

The location is certainly the hotel's best attraction, but there are other cool things, such as the facilities that are beautiful and new, the products available for bathing that are of good quality, the staff that is always very helpful.

My reservation was made for a room with a queen size bed, but they gave me a room with 2 very small double beds. and the hotel bar is open until 7pm, which is a little difficult to enjoy since all tours in the localities end at that time.

Location was close to plaza, staff was amazing!! Especially Ronnie in the restaurant. He checked up on us since we were feeling ill, my daughter especially. Thank you Roni!! He also gave us map and directions. I didn't see him the last day and wanted to tip him. But all porters were also very nice and helpful.

The beds and pillows. Costa del sol cusco. This should be your next upgrade. Very hard both bed and pillow

The hotel has a great location that is close to the Cusco Historic Square, and perhaps is the best four star hotel in this location. Not just main attractions of Cusco, but also narrow alleyways with little stores, restaurants, and street food surprises are all easily accessible from the hotel.

The standard double room is a bit small for two people. We can compare this, because we stayed in a colonial double room when we came back from the Inca trail hiking after the initial stay at the same hotel. The price for a colonial double room is just marginally higher and near the courtyard.
