Comfortable modern hotel with a bar and restaurant located in a quiet area on the outskirts of town. Safe, guarded parking. The staff (most of whom had good English) were very friendly, professional and welcoming. We were upgraded after being given a room with a connecting door (next door was bellowing on her phone as soon as she checked in...) and were very happy with our accommodation as a result. Breakfast was a decent buffet and evening meals were tasty. A 'Welcome to the Hotel' Pisco Sour was a nice touch. Tours to the reed islands are available at the front desk.

Our original room had a connecting door. Great for families, but noise from next door was intrusive. No kettle in the room (upgraded room did have one).

Excellent staff, so nice and helpful. The service privided by the staff in Xima and other hotels in Peru is so much better compared to Scandinavia. In Denmark you won’t get 1/10 of the service compared to Peru. I arrived in the evening and it was chilly. The heater in the room was not sufficient and I asked for one more. In a few minutes the gentleman at the reception came with one more heater. The room was very nice with a view to Lake Titicaca. Next day in the morning, the young lady in the reception was also very kind and helpful. The standard of the hotel and room is way above average. To sum up, my warmest recommendationsfor Xima, the location is also good, away (about 3 km) from the noisy city centre.

I have to admit, Puno was one of the more stressful episodes of our trans-Peruvian journey. Hence, I was really pleasantly surprised to be full-heartedly welcomed in this excellent hotel, tucked away from the city madness in a picturesque location by the lake. This beautiful property comes with all the amenities you would expect from a modern hotel (save for a swimming pool). The onsite restaurant is excellent and we ended up using it twice for our 24h stay in Puno. I also appreciated the free secured parking which could easily accommodate our huge rented van without giving me a heart attack every time I got it in and out of the premises.

We only experienced one small discomfort as for some bizarre reason smell from the restaurant kitchen somehow seeped into our room through the ventilation system in the morning when they started cooking. Our group had 5 rooms, however, and no one else complained of the same issue so we may have just been unlucky with our room.

So pleased we stayed here. Was about 10 minutes out of town but we were pleased for a quiets night sleep. Less than NZD$10 FOR A TAXI so all good. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Tge staff are so friendly and helpful and they have oxygen on hand which 3 out of 4 of us needed. Would stay here again.

The location was fabulous, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I had an early morning trip and they had done me a take away breakfast. The normal breakfast on the roof top is stunning. The location is amazing. I felt extremely safe and welcomed my whole stay

the room is clean and big enough for the 2 of us. the staff were very helpful.

the only thing that they need to improve is the wifi. I had a hard time connecting to their wifi in the room so i ended up using my data. i mean not all the guests have their data.

the hotel had visibly a bit of wear and tear which is not visible in the pictures, but regarding the place on earth you stay, it was good

The staff were taking good care of us and also prepared us an "off the menu" dinner as we were not feeling so well due to altitude. The breakfast had a good choice. They lit the fire in the lobby despite us being only a couple of guests which was really nice as it was cold. The view from our superior room was good - but if you are on the ground floor you don't actually see the lake. If you walk on to the left on the main road you soon get to a little "harbour" when you can at random hire a boat to Uron.

Food was one of the best things the hotel had to offer. Must compliment them on the food taste and quality.

Couldn't point anything that I didn't like.
