The staff are awesome, from Raphaelo from the front desk to those that are in the restaurant - warm, helpful and attentive. They go out of their way to be of help. Also the housekeeping team, greets you with a sincere smile.

Personal preference: We like to enter a hotel in its lobby. This one, the reception area is at the 3rd floor. The configuration of the bathroom. You have to move the mat around to accommodate the swing out of the shower door. With the size of that bathroom, a slide door would be better. The shower: a minute or two of shower will leave you in an inch of water ( which I do not like). I observed it, it is not the drain, It is the level of the floor tiles. There is not enough slant for a better flow.

When we travel, we always look for Ascott brands if available, and decided to stay here. And this hotel didn’t disappoint. The rooms are spacious, clean and bright, equipped with appliances and necessities (ie earth-friendly large-size toiletries and water jug/dispenser) and the hotel staff are wonderful. This hotel has bikes that the guests can use too, we hope to bike around the city next time we’re back.

The rooms are configured in a way that bed types are zoned per floor. So it’s not possible for a room with a double bed to be adjacent to a room with twin beds because the twin beds are on another floor.

Front desk staff were accommodating, attentive, efficient. My hotel room was clean, It located at the heart of old Iloilo City. Manifesto (restaurant and bar) has delicious and reasonable priced food. Happy Hour was great, we had so much fun! Manifesto staff are the best in service, from kitchen staff to dining area staff and bar, especially Jake! If you visit, try their Crispy Pata! Its a bit pricey, but all worth it, I think its one of Iloilo's Best Crispy Pata, in my experience.

We liked the contemporary interiors. The rooms and common areas are well-maintained and clean. Staff are friendly, polite, courteous and attentive. We also liked that the hotel has a restaurant at the 2/F, for breakfast and dinner (we arrived late at night and managed to get dinner there before closing).

There was a power interruption on day 3 of our stay, from around 10:45am to about 2:30pm. We were informed ahead of time, and we managed to work around it. The hotel also offered a free city tour during those hours.

The accessibility to all main establishments like hospitals. Malls. Supermarkets etc. Is the main reason why we stay in this hotel. And while staying, we observe cleanliness and warm welcome of all staff we encountered and their continuous care and wonderful assistance whenever whatever.

We hope citadine will offer as well room upgrade when they see a record of valued customers. Most especially if it is requested by the customer herself/himself. At least initiate an approval consideration.

Everything was absolutely perfect! This hotel is a topnotch in Ilo-Ilo City!! Fantastic staff, amazing service. They are all a sweetheart!! Plus, the people of Ilo-Ilo are probably the most polite and the friendliest in the entire Philippines. Too bad we needed to change the hotel twice because they were fully booked during dinagyang. You need to have some drinks at Manifesto Restaurant on the 2nd floor. We had a bliss! Great breakfast as well, not to mention they have an amazing ala carte choices. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Breakfast was tasty and well prepared. Location of hotel is great near markets, restaurants and Esplanade. Hotel Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and modern.

Upon arrival, we got a wrong room with no balcony nor view (as stated in the room description upon booking). Only after complaining with the staff, we have been given the room we booked with balcony and garden view. Such things should not happen from the beginning

I like most facilities ,Breakfast and locations are good.

The noise outside as we are located on the street side.Its very loud and the sound proofing of the glass windows cannot really lessen the Noises of the Hassles and Bustles on the street. Otherwise it's a great Hotel.

The staff were friendly and extra considerate. The room was clean and very comfortable. There are also lots of lobbies around to just sit and relax. I've stayed at quite a few hotels in Iloilo including the so called top hotels and I will only be staying at citadines Amigo from now on. Fantastic and see you again soon.

The pool is a little small but I'm being ultra critical here. In reality it's a fantastic hotel.

Accessibility to supermarket, hospitals. Malls, etc. Easy booking and good understanding very well accommodating staffs/employees. Cleanliness each and over all sections.

So far. No dislikes points on our mind as per the experience of how many days of stays in the citadine amigo iloilo.
