Great location and great spreadt for breakfast. Staff honoured that breakfast was included in the price, which was stated on the booking confirmation, however they tried to charge for my son.

Booking.com stated that this property offered free airport pickup. After writing to both the property and Booking.com, both denied responsibility. This was despite sharing screenshots from the website

Lovely room, very nice relaxing pool area and lobby bar was good. Staff were excellent.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. I expected more choice and better choices to be honest. Also, there were some cakes left in my room which we assumed were complimentary and so ate some of them, however we were charged 1,480 pesos which was annoying. Also, we presumed the bottled water provided was complimentary yet we were charged 650 pesos for it. We presume that was what the extra charges were for because we had nothing else from our room?

I liked how there was so much complimentary food. We ended up not spending much on meals. I loved afternoon tea the best. I also liked the ambiance of the place – my mom took a lot of pictures. They also prepared two cakes for my mom and me (double birthday). The staff were all friendly and there's conveniently a bridge from hotel to mall.

Unfortunately, our bathroom didn't have a hair dryer. I hope they can add bath bombs or salts in the bathroom. I wish for thicker blankets also. Overall, it was a great stay. I'd definitely stay here again and try more of their amenities.

We stayed on a double twin bed Tower Wing, and the bed sizes were smaller than expected. Breakfast has a good variety however I was asked to pay extra for a fresh slice of mango when I requested on the first day, but I didn't take the offer. With the price of the breakfast, mango should be inclusive. The toilet door lock was broken and needed fixing. Pillows were a bit firm. Maybe, due to the pandemic, the hotel needs thorough cleaning and refurbishment.

The pool was divine and the gym was amazing. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve been to. The service was very good in general, especially Mavic and Vincent at the pool. All communal areas were beautiful.

Our room in the garden wing although clean and comfortable, felt a bit old and outdated. It had a slight musty smell and it was showing signs of wear and tear, such as peeling wallpaper and light fixtures coming away from the ceiling. There was no coffee machine in the room and instant Nescafé sachets is simply not good enough for the price point.

The room, bathroom and everything inside the room was great. It was spacious, looked and smelled great, and you know and feel that it was really clean and well maintained. We booked Garden Suite for three and they had 6 towels and extra toiletries for each of us. The pool and water facilities were also good. All the slides and water attractions were working. There were multiple lifeguards and staff around the pool. Breakfast is as expected in HEAT. Still a lot of choices of different cuisines (Japanese, Filipino, Chinese, Continental, Indian, etc.) Finally, during check-in, the receptionist asked if there was any occasion. We told her it was our son's birthday, and even before we got to our room, there was someone waiting outside to give us a small cake to celebrate with.

One of the things that bothered us was the baby cot they provided us was very old and broken. The bars on the side were falling off and the mattress didn't fit the cot at all. Our baby could fall of the mattress to the surface of the cot and get stuck between the bars and the mattress, or even fall out of the cot because there were a couple of broken bars. We just put pillows around the mattress to prevent this from happening. The TV/cable also wasn't working. We called around 3pm, but no one came. Didn't bother calling again since we didn't really feel like watching TV anyway.

Very nice and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet that's overcrowded sometimes though. Good water pressure! Nice pool area, especially for kids. The MegaMall is in walking distance. The ShangriLa Plaza is in walking distance. Many excellent restaurants in walking distance.

The gym wasn't open 24/7 as in other ShangriLas. The pool did also close too early. A lot of tv channels weren't available or not functioning. Rooms and furniture seem a bit old by now. Prices are generally very high for what is offered. The breakfast buffet in the lobby isn't of the same quality as in the Heat, which seems strange.

Staff very friendly and caring. Always acknowledges you, says Good morning etc. They don't ever look tired. I hope they are getting paid well because they deserve it for all their hard work. Facilities are amazing, plenty to do. Worth the price for the complimentary activities.

Thick dust in certain areas of the room, particulary the glass bathroom ledge above the sink. But does not affect its fuctionality.

The room was really nice, and impecably clean. The staff was exceptional especially after we wanted to change the room after I had booked the wrong wing. Very accomodating. Its a shangrila property after all so no complaints.

I have had hotels of the same quality at a better price so if that were the case here it would have probably gotten 10/10. But over all still a very good hotel and a good price.

we used the service of hotel car/van to take us to the airport this is a premium cost compared to a taxi. its over double it 15 minutes late which was not good. when we paid the price for premium van this it was not ! many years old, the aircon was terrible we would been better in taxi - lesson learnt
