The room was amazing! And a big well done to the cleaners - everything was cleaned very well and stocked up. The bed was comfortable, well ironed sheets were very comfortable and there was just enough pillows for us. The bathroom was good size with everything we needed. We really loved our stay there. There’s plenty of storage which is great! Good size fridge and an easy to use safe. It’s 2-5min walk from the main square so we really got both - close to all attractions and quiet spot to rest. Definitely recommend!!

The hairdryer was quite outdated and it took forever drying up my hair. Receptionist was nice but at a push, so you really had to beg her for things that you needed which we thought in 5 star hotel wouldn’t be a problem.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was decent size, bed and sofa very comfy. We really liked the vintage interior design within the whole building.

Phone was broken and staff was unaware of that. To be fair we have been asked if we want a technician to be called in. We decided not to as didn't really need it. Also tv was little bit aged and didn' have wi-fi access so we could not stream from own mobile/tablet. That is kind of annoying as there are just basic channels available. No netflix etc. But after all these were a minor issues.

The room was fine, perhaps a little small, but the facilities were generally good.

The magnetic key lost its code every time I tried to reenter my room. This entailed me having to go back down to the lobby each time to have it reset. I was told by one front office person that it was my fault for having it near my phone, when in fact it never was. I have stayed in enough hotels with similar locks....for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable! (Incidentally I was told several other guests were having the same issue)

Beautiful old boutique hotel suitable for couples. Whilst within the old town it's well away from the noise of the main square and yet convenient for all the major attractions . The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and all had a good working knowledge of the city and the available tours. Booking the tours through the hotel was both easy and a convenient way of sorting out a sight seeing agenda. Breakfast highly recommended and in the evening there are plenty of good quality restaurants to choose from ,but away from the main square.

No dining in the hotel in the evening wasn't a problem, but with it's lovely facilities it has it was a shame.

As soon as you stepped through the front door you felt like you were home. The ambience gave of a cosy comfortable feel . The staff members were polite and helpful in everything that we asked, from pre booking taxis from airport to pre heating the sauna 30 mins before you use it. Any excusrsions could be booked through them also. The rooms had everything you need, with a stocked mini bar at sensible prices, unlike other hotels. The breakfast setting had a variety of choice. The hotel location was perfect for us. Its situated beside the park that skirts the old town, but also feels central as a 2 min walk has you in the main square. So you are close by everything but without all the noise. I would definiteley recommend this hotel

There was no milk alternatives

The location is very convenient, at the edge of the old town and right next to a tram stop. The staff is excellent and breakfast was great. I was disappointed that there was no dinner but there are ample restaurants just a few steps away. Reception and check out were handled quickly and efficiently. I required secure parking for my motorcycle which was arranged at a guarded parking lot 1/2 km away, but the hotel also provided a taxi to/from the hotel as part of the price of the guarded parking. The bathroom was clean and water pressure good. The bed was very comfortable. The elevator worked well, and quickly.

I was surprised at the amount of outside noise I could hear through the closed window (sirens, trash collection, etc.). so much so that I had to triple check that it was closed securely. also, the room I had had only a thin blind to shield the morning light…which of course in summer means a 430am wake up.

There was nothing about this property I didn’t like.

The hotel is located in the old town of Krakow. Restaurants are literally around the corner. The hotel itself is boutique and is very nice. The hotel room was nice and warm in the mornings and evenings and the bed was very comfy. What I'm most grateful for is that the hotel is quiet. We had no noisy neighbours and no one running up or down the halls which I have experienced in other hotels! It was nice to come back to the hotel in the evenings and relax after a long day of been a tourist in the beautiful city of Krakow. The breakfast in the hotel is good. The hotel won me over on the good quality coffee which is big bonus for me. The hotel is very clean and I am very grateful for the hotel staff that organised my airport transfer to and from the airport and the communication was excellent. The staff are very friendly and always there to recommend good restaurants, tours etc. Thank you hotel Gródek for a lovely stay in your beautiful country.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of the city. Lovely living room downstairs with book shelves and paintings. I felt at home, it was very romantic a perfect place for a romantic moment.

Bedroom was in front of a bar or night club which was noisy till late.

Room was very quiet, nicely decorated, and AC worked well. Breakfast was of high quality. Staff solved all my requests. Got the room early and left the room late, with no extra charge. All in all a very nice stay.
