We spend our vacation in Puro Hotel, which is next to the Galeria Krakowska Mall. The location was perfect because it's 5 minutes walk to the old Kleparz market, and 10-15 minutes walk to the main square-Rynek Główny. There are also buss and tram station right outside of it. The main thing that made our stay at the hotel unforgettable was the attitude of the staff and their high sense of service and hospitality- every question we had was answered with a simle and patient. Since we planned on staying at the hotel for a whole week, the staff put us robes, slippers, a coffee kit, cups and a kettle in our room. There was also a coffee machine at the lobby of the hotel, which we could use 24/7. The food of the hotel restaurant, Hint, was so delicious, and we ate there several times. We would definitely come back there at our next time in Kraków.

I've stayed here before for a short period of time, as the hotel has an extremely good location. What's good: friendly staff at the reception, stable internet connection, nice view from the window in the room (before I booked cheaper rooms, the view was sad). Check-out without any additional personnel (helps to save the time).

Soundproofing: you can hear the cleaning staff talking during the entire cleaning time, and I was lucky to catch the repair work (which I would have liked to have been warned about, as I had work calls that day). Someone writes about the noise from the ventilation at night - for this purpose, I closed the door to the bathroom. There was no cleaning or requestion for garbage cleaning during staying (for almost a week). I agree, it's not quite convenient with the automatic light in the bathroom (it switches off all the time). I visited breakfast only a few times, so it's difficult to draw detailed conclusions. In my experience, I prefer the breakfasts at PURO in Łódź.

Great location! Directly opposite the Galeria Krakowska shopping mall that includes the main line train station to/from the airport and just around a 10 minute walk into the Old Town! A really comfortable room, with a tablet provided that operates everything from the lights, tv and temperature and more. The bedding was super comfortable for a great sleep with the softest pillows ever! Under floor heating in the shower room (also controlled from the tablet), along with shower gel and hair conditioner provided (no body creams/lotion, so something to pack if needed!). Also a nice touch with them providing a small box of useful items, such a sewing kit, shoe shine, cotton pads etc.). Breakfast; no complaints! A real good variety from cereals to hot foods, plus additional items you can order from the menu. Plenty of coffee, juices and pastries to keep anyone happy! It was especially busy one morning, but plenty of seating to accommodate. Staff were also very pleasant and helpful - would definitely stay here again!

It is just a few minutes walk to the start of the main old town. It is directly opposite the train and bus station, as well as a shopping mall which has a Carrefour for your groceries. Even though we got a street facing room, the sound proofing was really good and we barely heard any street noise on the second floor, even for a light sleeper like myself. Everything (lights, heating, TV) are controlled using the tablet. Wifi is strong stable. It is very clean and we loved the consistent hot water with good pressure, and underfloor heating in the bathroom. We love the free (good) coffee and wide selection of tea at the lobby too!

There was no glass door in the shower area, only half a glass pane which made the whole toilet wet every time we showered.

Great location right near the central railroad station. Literally you just go outside the station, cross the road, walk 50 meters and here it is. Also great level of comfort overall, cleanliness and politeness. Cosy lobby. Great breakfast. I will happily come again.

A minor point - it took me some time to make the hands soap go out of the tube. Somehow the dozer was blocked and didn't want to open. At first I gave up and just used shower gel instead. The second "session" eventually ended up with success. ;) I found the bed (not sure if that was mattress or blanket or both) made me steamed a little. Not much, but still. This doesn't happen to me at home. And it's not about room temperature. IMO it's about the materials used at the mattress or blanket.

- The room had everything you could need for a home base while exploring Krakow and the nearby areas - Room service cleaned the room daily - The staff were great and super accommodating from my initial communication until I checked out. I even arrived an hour early, and when i asked for luggage storage, they told me that i could check in to my room instead since it was ready. - Location just across the street from the train station and like 5-10 minutes on foot from the barbican in the old town. - Hotel has a restaurant and a bar that work late in case you want something. Also room ordering available. - Everything can be controlled by an ipad which made many things easier.

- The shower wall was too small it was easy to spray water outside of the shower area by mistake which was annoying. - the temperature control seems to not make a difference? I lowered the temperature to almost cold and still it felt very hot while sleeping, especially that the duvet is a bit heavy. This was remedied by opening a window for a short while though.

The hotel is very well located, right outside the Old Town where all the action happens. It's right across the street from a huge shopping mall and Krakow Central Station, so getting to the hotel from the airport couldn't have been easier. This is the second time we've stayed at a PURO hotel. Last year was PURO in Gdansk. They didn't disappoint. The rooms are very clean, staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is very good and offers many options for different tastes. Beds are extremely comfortable. The room is very well heated, which is important during Poland's cold winters, and there is also floor heating in the bathroom, which is great. Almost everything is within walking distance, save maybe for some parts of the Jewish Quarter, which are easily accessible by tram (the station is right in front of the hotel). Also, there are countless restaurants, shops etc., in the vicinity of the hotel.

The only reason why I am not rating this hotel as a 10 is because I cannot help but compare it with the PURO in Gdansk. Though they are very similar, this one doesn't offer a gym and the room furniture is slightly less appealing. However, this was a great stay and I would definitely come back.

The location is excellent, just steps away from the main train station and 5-10 minutes away from the old town. It is a smart hotel with everything electronic. The hotel offers 24/7 free coffee/ tea/ chocolate, which are in good quality. Not those instant coffee/ milk machine.

The light system in the toilet is automatically switched on and off by sensor. It will brighten up the room when someone goes to the toilet at night. The toilet wall is made of non-transparent glasses but light could went thru

Very close to train station via nice shopping mall. Good breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed. Nice large shower. Krakow is a wonderful city to visit.

The deluxe double's futuristic room features were interesting, but I hope they don't catch on. The floor to ceiling windows on every wall look nice when entering the room but mostly just require closing lots of curtains. There is no need for a panoramic city view from the glass walled shower. The tablet control of things like lighting and temperature needs improvement. Could not get the room to cool down (in winter). Would prefer a towel bar in the bathroom over having translucent glass bathroom walls.

Fabulous & clean hotel across the road from the main train station. So easy to check in & out, the staff were incredible, friendly & helpful. We were able to store bags before and after check in which was amazing. The room was a good size, with a massive bed and private en-suite bathroom. The rainfall shower was hard to leave! We loved being able to control everything from the tablet in the room as well as having a fridge and bottles of water. Good option of food at breakfast that definitely kept us going all morning & afternoon. We loved the location of this hotel. It was always so easy to get back to the train station from days out / around the city as it is a main hub. We were able to meet our tour guides outside the hotel as it was so central so ideal for tourists! Roughly a 10 min walk to Barbican / St Florian’s Gate so fairly central. It was quiet in our hotel room and we slept so peacefully. Would definitely recommend to friends & family coming to Krakow!

Automated lights in the bathroom kept turning off while you were in there… minor detail in whole scheme of things!
