Stayed in a suite, so expectations were high but it was even better than expected. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever encontered. The facilities are modern, spacious and well designed. The staff is super nice.

The coffee is supplied by Delta, a great Portuguese company that deserves to be supported, but unfortunately the coffee itself I find mediocre, at least compared to others in the same niche, like Nespresso and L'Or.

Nice breakfast and dinner buffet. There was a bottle of champagne and a sweet gift to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There is paid parking and free parking behind the hotel. Massage was good.

The staff needs more training, or perhaps the hotel needs more staff... It was a busy weekend and the service in bar and restaurant was slow. Also, there was a kettle, but no instant coffee... When I asked for it, I was told there was no instant coffee available for guests! In a five-star hotel, this is, to say the least, "strange". The spa services are good but not excellent.

Everything about the hotel was beyond beautiful. The space, the building, cleanliness, ambiance, the extravagant decor! It was all very lush and fabulous. Very airy and modern, great rooms, fabulous scenic view from ours on the 9th floor! Absolutely loved every minute of it, couldn't get enough pictures! Staff were very attentive during dining experience, both at breakfast and dinner meal! Glasses never ran dry, food was exceptionally fresh, perfectly seasoned, just beautiful.

Didn't really have much choice/options for non alcoholic beverages for those that didn't want mocktails.

The hotel is really lovely. Very clean and the staff is amazing. Always very friendly! The food was very good, the old fashioned and sangria on the balcony, the buffet breakfast, which was vast, and even room service was hot and delicious. I would visit that restaurant even if not staying in the hotel. The pet kit for our puppy was a great surprise.

The lighting in the room, especially the bathroom, was odd and not bright enough. I thought it strange that there wasn't an outlet in the bathroom. Small detail but thought I would share.

We are stayed in room 1122 only for one night and we had a complimentary room upgrade. The room was fantastic, clean and spacious. Staff are absolutely amazing and super helpful also well spoken English. The spa just stunning....outside swimming pool, inside swimming pool, sauna-cold water swimming pool, steam room, inside Jacuzzi. We had a lunch-Buffet which was very tasty a lots of option and we are both vegetarian and the stuff was very helpful to explaining which food is which also they helped us what to offer as a vegetarian meal. I wish we had a longer stay but we definitely very satisfied about the hotel facility's-staff so we definitely coming back in the future. Thank you so much for everything. Mihaly and Andreia

Value for money, very good breakfast, spacey rooms with mini bar, airco and comfortable beds. Friendly and customer oriented staff, easy to get a taxi to visit Braga and a great outdoor swimming pool.

There is not much to dislike. I only had to make a complaint about dirty bed blanket. Which immediately was replaced.

We had a business event for Prisco Business Group in Braga and we stayed at Melia Hotel. We had a great time and the hotel facilities are great. it’s truly a 5 stars hotel, stuff are nice, polite and helpful at all times. we definitely recommend and will come back on our next planned events as well holidays. The rooms were large and the bed was really comfortable. The room was very modern in style. The breakfast was fantastic with a large choice at the buffet, including various options for people with food intolerances. There was even a selection of donuts and pancakes if you have a sweet tooth! There was a lovely selection of freshly prepared fruit. My husband is gluten intolerant and they brought out a vast selection from bread, rolls, muffins, cakes, so many options was lovely! We used the outside pool, which was Loveland clean but the water was a bit bracing! Although it was lovely to relax on the loungers in the sun around it. The only thing was it was a bit strange to be so close to the main road.

It’s a bit of a trek to get into Braga central for dinner. We walked one night which took us about half an hour. On another night we took the bird scooters, they were great until you reached the cobbled stones, at that point we had to give up! On our last night we just got a taxi. The hotel booked it and it only took about 10mins. The taxi was not expensive and by far the easiest!
